Random thought... Society... vs. Us.

We hold a way of life that to normal society seems to not understand. Many tend to label our ways of life in a negative perspective. Their views are so narrow that they cannot see what we have no matter how often we attempt to show them.

We seek knowledge and wisdom in ways others simply laugh and squawk at. We are judged, and we are labeled with words like 'freak', 'insane', 'borderline', and 'not right in the head' as a few that are perhaps the most common.

Are we in the right? Are they telling the truth? In the end, does it matter? That all depends. One thing I have learned though is that in every spiritual teaching. Every religion, there are so many similarities it is hard to just ignore. Mind you when most of these were 'born'. The world was separated in ways of physically making it near impossible to converse with another of a different area/spiritual walk.

When people thought the world was flat, and when areas seemed to hold their own religion or none at all. But time and time again, gods and goddesses seem to mirror another. Beasts like the Leviathan and Behemoth sprouting about different verses of spiritual walks. Holding at most if any differences, very minor.

We all walk our different paths, and we all have our different values. Yet have you sat and read Norse mythos, then read another such as Greek mythos. Compared the heroes, the villains, and then looked upon the aspects of the beasts spoken of. Then jumped down to Egyptian religions such as Old Testament Christianity/Judaism and their native religions?

If you haven't there is much you can learn about how at one time, we were not seen as insane, or borderline, or freaks. In fact it would shine a new light to even your own culture and spiritual walk.

Now, do take note. As all social aspects. There are stories, then there are truths. And in the end, even the most fictional book written holds some truth to it. If not the gods, if not the characters, the beasts, or the history. The moral itself can be learned, and it can be a truth. The hardest part is simply picking out the dirt and grime. Sifting out the rock and sand. Only to find the diamonds in the rough.

With that said, not everything can be proven by science alone. But they are willing to try. Still some things are unable to be tested by any scientific method to date. Perhaps, in the future a way may come. Till then, even today's society cannot deny that certain things might have walked the earth at one time, that what lives among us are real or false. They are simply speculations, in which you believe in or you don't.

Society has come to fear so much, that labels have been distilled for just about everything. Even the way you verbalize your "R's". So in the end, we are either ourselves, believers in what we wish... taking the guidelines of our spiritual walk. Or narrowminded puppets on a string that society wishes us to be.

This is so true. Even the diamonds in the rough can only be found after several eras that take countless generations to decipher.

Many today seem to either stick to one religion or none at all... never once picking up a single spiritual book or understanding once. Then try to prove it is fake upon half written scriptures.

If they took the time and read into it, perhaps they would understand the spiritual walk is not just 'faith', but a guideline on how to live. And those diamonds in the rough could inherently hold fractures of either one of those.
