I am a huge fan of your work...and more often than not can not bring myself to comment. I am sure in some cases, the presence of my own words. Awed, clumsy and inadequate are merely insults to your art.
You are like some strange giant exotic bloom antiquated in todays overly synthesised environment. Depth of character boundless.
Writers do not write, they live words. Words are life.
Worry as a shade of passion??? Yes! You have enough passion for more than one life.
If you think that is clumsy, let me assure you that it is not. If it weren't for the brandy, I might have made it through with dry eyes. Might have. Thank you so much...WAY more than I deserve.
The last fear listed is by far the least rational of them all. You're at far greater danger of being torn limb from limb by rats, or your soul sucked out through a camera lens, than you are of writing anything that is not wonderful.
..you are a gifted writer, J. You truly are. Do you know how much your words mean to me? I am sure you have no idea.. Yours is the journal I always check first.
Your words are redolent of the heat, beauty, scent and imagery of all those things I love most in this world..
Did you know your words have even brought me to tears before? That is power, that is magic..
You worry because you actually do care about the way people are moved by your words. You have pride in what you write and as a result, everything I have ever seen you write has pretty much torn out my soul, stomped around on it, turned it into a kite, flown it for a while, washed it, dried it in the sun, thrown it on a bed, turned it into a scarf and then pushed it back into my body. Then I often cry. It is a good cry.
Never stop caring.

I've seen cats that weren't like that do all those kinds of things. One of the cats my family had was even able to let itself out of the cat carrier.

I actually have a cat with two thumbs on each from paw. They look like boxing gloves haha. It's fairly common around my area actually.

Further proof that evolution never ends. As cats have become more domesticated and even humanized they are starting to develop features that help them survive in a human world...

KO used to have two cats that had thumbs, he would throw dice across the floor for them to play with. He was terribly upset when he lost them in the divorce with his ex wife. He hopes to someday find a cat with thumbs again, mind you our other two fury minions of fuzz your clothes might not like it..
