So, Sevenn...

Stabb and I have been reading up on our Norse mythology, focusing on Odin's children. Yeah, ain't we fun? Well, as we're reading about Yggdrasil, the huge World Tree, what did we run across? Treachery! Its name is Ratatoskr, and guess what form it takes?!



An eagle sits at the top of the Yggdrasil and it has knowledge of many things. Between its eyes sits a hawk called Vedrfolnir. The wyrm, Níðhöggr, dwells beneath one of the three roots of the tree. The squirrel called Ratatoskr runs up and down the ash. He tells slanderous gossip, provoking the eagle and Níðhöggr.



I don't think we need much more proof than that! Everyone is worried about the Zombie Armageddon when it's the Squirrel Armageddon that poses the real threat to mankind! I'm typing this in a dark room with the drapes drawn. Too many oak trees near my windows...too many scouts. How should we proceed? Are there any places they haven't infiltrated?



P.S. The dogs seem skittish.

Honestly, though...



Norse Mythology is one of my favorites.





Not many actually wonder about it, aside from the "Gods/Goddess" and most times it's about some anime or movie they saw about it.

Njdhoggr: incessently tears at the roots of the World Tree whilst simultaniously strangling the life from it. Exudes rot and corruption into one of the three holy wells. Spitefully acts towards the sundering of the nine worlds' realization. Devours the wayward dead. Written to be Thor's personal doom.

...agreed. We'd best keep an eye on that squirrel. Definitely the bad apple of the neighborhood, that one.

Stabb and I got to talk to Sevenn last night! We laughed a lot and even though it's been a while since last we talked, it was like no time at all had passed.



*Rubs hands together* I must make plans for the retaliatory counterstrike of peace and joy. We received their Christmas card and now I am on a mission to find a Christmas card with a squirrel on it! Mwahahahaherry Christmas!

I somehow managed to delete Cancer from Favorite Journals. I wonder how long ago I did that. I'm special.
