I've been so busy busting my ass for a company that doesn't appreciate the help they currently have. I went through a bad burnout last week at work and then back on Tuesday, I had a meltdown at work as well. Basically, the previous week, I ended up working 6 days straight with only Saturday off. Also, ended up having a coworker pass out and she was taken out of the store by EMTs as well. Man, it's been hella crazy as well with work. We've been so short handed that its been at least 2 to 3 people at max at night and that's it. I nearly went through another burnout this week, but had a meltdown instead. I got so stressed out, due to the amount of work they had been making us do and they wanted everything done before we left at 11pm. Its not that easy to achieve that. They keep saying, "We're gonna hire more people" Where are they then!? Stop stressing us out and stop making us do the work of 5 people, when you have one person on the sales floor and the other in the fitting room!

I mean, come on, common sense here people! Either hire more people or give us some more help at night! We're understaffed and overworked and overwhelmed all the freaking time! I just wish, they would listen to us for a change and realize that we are struggling to keep an area that has, 9 areas to cover, and you expect two to get those areas done. It's not that easy for us! Even if there are three on shift, one ALWAYS slacks off and does what she wants, while the other has to pick up the slack. I just don't get our management at times. They think its okay to make us do all this work and what not, and we don't get recognized unless we show them pictures or a customer says something to them. I'm just over this job at this point. There are a select few, Team Leads and Managers that do appreciate the work we do, but the others just don't seem to care enough.

I'm at my wits end with this job. It stresses me out and causes way too much anxiety for me. I had to take a mental day, due to the amount of stress I was under and the meltdown. I actually, cut my head on one of the racks at work as well. This just hasn't been the best couple of weeks for the area I work in and I know it's not gonna get better, unless management hires new people for our area or gives us some sort of help. I'm probably gonna end up looking for a job after Christmas or so. I just can't keep letting a place, like that stress me out so much. It causes way too many issues and what not. I've actually have had two migraines back to back in one week, and those are not fun either. Ugh. At least I have this weekend to look forward to.
