The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I'm currently reading a book called 'Vampires Among Us' By Rosemary Ellen Guiley. I think its really interesting how even since the 90's vampires have existed--especially clans of vampires. According to my lite research, a large population of vampires live in New Orleans! I have been to New Orleans only twice. Once as a child, and once as a teenager. Even as a child, I could sense something was different about the city. There was an air too it--a power that drew others to it.

New Orleans is a spiritual playground, with plenty of old tales to uphold this view. But I wonder--why New Orleans? Lousiana is a hot and humid state. And from what I have learned of vampires, several state that the sun causes them allergic reactions or is simply too harsh upon their eyes. So why stay in New Orleans? Or in general, the hot and miserable south? If I was a vampire, I would live somewhere where there was little to not sunlight. Like Alaska.

There is a prominent vampire clan in New Orleans, called the Sabretooth Clan. Is anyone on here apart of this clan?

I still can't believe I found this site! It looks like something created in 2008! (In a cool way). I don't identify as a vampire or as someone who is goth, but I am deeply fascinated by the vampire culture and hope to meet and or chat with people that identify as real-life vampires!
