Rat walks about the House, pausing at the wall hanging of the Hamster, the House representation. Her head tilts as she looks at the design, the color combination, as her mind wonders…

Doe knots the strings that hold the two pieces of poster board together at the Rat’s shoulders. “But… I want to do this. Damn it Jim, I am a Rat, not a Hamster.” “Oh hush. It is a great idea. You just walk about the playground, be nice to people, do a little advertising for the House. And stop calling me Jim.” “Can’t we just do one of those love me things.” Ferret walks in, eating ice cream, and take the scene in. “You mean the forums?” “Yeah, that. Why can’t we do one of those?” Ferret licked the spoon, smiling. “But that would not be half as much fun.”

The Hedgehog walks by on the way to the basement and stops, looking at the sign that hung over the Rat. “You know she is a Rat, right? Not a Hamster.” “Thank YOU!” Rat says, turning to look at the one person who was standing up for her. “But then she tried to make me get up before dawn on ground hog day so…good luck with that.” “HEY! You are a hog…so what if it is a hedge hog. I still think it would have worked.”

Doe turns the Rat toward the door as the Bull steps into the hallway. “Look- it is a Rat Sandwich. Does she come with cheese?” Rat gave a “Ha Ha Ha” as her House family laughter filled the small hallway. Doe opens the front door, other animal and non animal family members rushing in to see what was going on. Doe gave the Rat a nice big shove out the door. “Now go get some new members. And remember…you are a Hamster.”

Rat glared back at her, then straitening the sign, step to the porch edge. One step down the stairs and the flaw of the sign showed itself. Tripping on the sign she gave a small scream as it acted like a sled, taking her down the steps on her stomach, sliding onto the sidewalk a few feet away as those walking about watched her slide, then started to laugh.

All those watching from inside the House watched, quiet till the Ducky said “Well…that could have gone better.” Cracked Out Kitty hissed at the people as Rat tired her best to get out of the sign, unable to roll over or even stand up. “Look- a rat is in a trap.” One person in the crowd yelled out. “Let me get my chainsaw for those assholes.” Ferret says, running to the kitchen as hedgehog yelled out “RAT DOWN! RAT DOWN!”

Rat blinked, a smile coming over her face as the day dream left her tried mind. Maybe just a makeup look out of the Hamster icon color would work.

Otter pops up out of the water where she's been hiding for most of the day to escape the heat, looking towards the commotion and sees the one and only Rat fighting with the colorful sign.

Otter smirks and pops out of the water and shakes off, droplets spraying in all different directions. "We've got a bratty tatty ratty on our hands."

You have a Lot of time on your hands don't you LMAO hands Rat cheese Doped with a tranquilizer to calm her and help her sleep ,Shhh she,ll be all better when she wakes.

lol And the story is complete with Otter being in it. :D

I just can't write one and not have the Otter in it. It is just...not right. ;)
