Having faith of what you can do and achieve will make anything possible for you. Like any other emotional attribute, pride, faith and tenacity effect the enviroment around you. If one wants to be successful in a relationship, love, trust and care are required. In the same aspect, if one wants to be successful in all of life's aspects, individual pride, dedication and decipline is required for the utmost potiential of your success.

One can accomplish many things in their lives while lacking many of the attributes I mentioned previously. From what I have observed, a lot of times a individual does what they have to in the face of threat, which can be presented in many forms. A threat can come in the form of financial survival, educational success, maintaining reputation, etc. While many of things can be a motivator when they are presented, I feel one shouldn't wait till the threat is there, but should have the dedication and passion to do what has to be done before the threat ever exists.

On the other side of the coin, some people enjoy living the mediocre lifestyle. Doing only what is required to pass; surviving more so then thriving. Although, having the dedication to thrive and to "shoot for the stars" sort of speak can take you beyond the point of survival. Yes, it does take a lot of work to achieve such qualities, but it will help for the entire duration of one's life.

I do also understand that dedicated and passionate working habits can grow to be overwhelming. In this case, moderation is key, just as moderation is key in every other situation. It is good for one to have the dedication to work, but it is essential to have the knowledge as to when working to much can cause stress or pressure. Effective, quick and successful work requires the balance between tenacity and moderation.

I feel the hypocrisy rising within myself as I speak about many of the things I brought up, since I am a victim of procrastination and mediocrity, but we are all students in life, and the only thing we can do is to seek more and more progress as we carry on with learning. Admitting ignorance is by far better then quitting all together, for one leaves room for potiential while the other is exclusive to progress.

God's Political System

Christianity, being the largest religion in the world, is on the frontlines of theism. Evangelists and missionaries travel to the far corners of the Earth to speak the Word of God, theological scientists and apologists search for evidence in the environment around us, and the typical parent introduces their offsprings to this belief by attending their local churches. Some see Christianity as their personal relationship with their Lord and Savior, but it has seem to become more of a cultural attribute for most of the Western world.

The burden of proof is on the Christian since they are making the claim of God, but to be honest theists and creationists have been given too much unearned credit. Due to their sheer numbers and dense populations, Christians in paticular have been given the benefit of the doubt time and time again, without demostrating why someone should consider such a perspective. If you were to ask the average believer for such a demostation, they would most likely direct you to the "Good Book" so that you could find God for yourself. So that is where I will go to demostrate the absurdity of the Judeo Christian God.

To begin such an endeavor, one would want to define the God they are attempting to analzye. Most Christians see their God as an all powerful, all knowing God, but also as the all loving and forgiving God; The Ultimate Judge and Creator. The book of Genisis teaches the creation story, and that God was the first cause. As interesting as this claim is, I see a few logical fallacies in this. If God was the first cause, who created God? Some may say that God always existed but outside of time and space, which is a fair claim, but there's a problem with that also, what caused God to suddenly create the Universe? And I am aware that there is various explanations for this as well.

"Well God is the True Creator and knows all, and we can never fully understand his Divine Plan" is a common rebuttle to such a question, and it is relieveing to hear a Christian admit ignorance for once. If this is the case, then why do Christians pray? God is supposedly all knowing, so he knows all that there is to know, from the past, present and future. This is means God and his Divine Plan are going to do what is planned regardless of your requests, which debunks many of things that the Nazerene said in the New Testament. This also makes the free-will of mankind merely an illusion, since God knows everything that we are doing and going to do before we even existed.

All of this brings us to God's system of sin and forgiveness and the consequence or reward. Assuming that what was said previously still holds up, God is aware of every "sin" that we will commit and we are encouraged to ask for his forgiveness. The fact that if we don't ask for such after committing a sin proves that either the Bible is wrong, or God is truly not all forgiving as many people claim. Also, the idea of infinite bliss or torment in exchange for finite deeds seems a bit inmoral to today's society. Anyone who would lock their child in the basement for all eternity for anything, including not being loved in return, is a sick individual.

Speaking of morality, if the Bible is a good representation for God's character, then He is completely comfortable with the idea of slavery, murder and genocide according to the Old Testament. One could retaliate with something along the lines as, "God changed his mind and His son was sent down to be sacraficed for all of our sins". Anything that has a change of mind or feels regret is not perfect nor all knowing, which doesn't fit the attributes of the Christian God. According to the Bible, God created the world and all of it's inhabitants and formed a system that He knew mankind could not live up to but allows it to continue, letting murder, rape, natural diaster and illness ravish the world and His creations, but He is all loving and caring.

After reading this, assuming you are a decent, moral human being like most of us are, I hope that you came to the same conclusion that I did. That the fictional character of God in the Bible is a sick asshole, or just doesn't really care much about flesh and blood upon this ball of dirt. If either are true, God is simply a unnecessary idea and not worth our time. Wake up people!
