Okay So this Isn't Poetry. It is fact a Little Memorial to My Great Grandmother Selma "Sally" Jager. To a Woman who knew Only Love and Kindness. I wish I could have gotten to see you One last time grandma.
Sally died On November 4th, of Alzheimer's at 88 years of age.
Dear grandma
I can't say that we got to see each other a whole Lot in the last decade Grandma, But I never forget that you always smiled, always had and extra candy and a big hug. I always Loved visiting you. I loved playing on the farm with you and petting the horses. I wish we could have at least gotten to say goodbye to each other, but as we know Life rarely gives us what we want. we must take what we get with a grain of salt and Push forward. I Love you so much grandma and I hope that where ever you are it's Beautiful where you can see us all. Now you can see Grandpa Bert. I Hope that in some way I have made you Proud when you see me as adult from the stars, because unfortunately you couldn't Know me as one on earth. I'll think of you often, and try to keep that serene calm you always seemed to radiate. maybe if we get lucky we'll see each other when the time comes. Wish me Luck, I've always been the wild child!
