The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

I don't normally put my dreams in here, in fact I don't think I ever have. I had a doozy last night/early morning...in fact it was so awful it just sort of hung over the whole day and made it shitty. Bleah. I suppose it didn't help that we were busy as all get out and I felt like I was going in slow motion.



Anyway. I dreamt I was lying on my right side on a big bed, propped up on my elbow, and all around me was darkness but I could hear people talking and see shapes moving. It was like I was in the middle of a big room and everyone was watching me. Some male off to my right announced, "Now you will be burned to death in the bed."



I was very nervous, but I called out (I remember the words exactly) "May I have my say as is my due?" In other words, last words, a speech.



A woman's voice from the darkness..."NO. Get on with it." And a dark shape loomed up, hooded and carrying a torch, and lit the head of the bed, down below on the floor.



I kept looking and watching expecting to see the flames and smell the smoke..I could hear voices chanting, and I was shaking with fear.....



Then I woke up. Holy crap. My heart was pounding and I was sweating. I couldn't get back to sleep after that. What the hell was THAT about? I didn't have anything exotic to eat before bed, I'd had popcorn earlier in the evening but quite some time before bed.



Horrible. Felt like I was living some scene from The Tudors. Bleah.
