The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Not sure you can really find a better vampire flick than this one. Tom Cruise surprised everyone, incuding Anne Rice, with his portrayal of Lestat.

Tom Cruise's best work since Risky Business. Translated very well from the novel to the screen.

Cinematically well done, even if it wasnt done up to Anne Rices; standards.

Why Tom??? Why did it have to be Tom???? Lestat could have been so much more! Was the ruin of the film for me! Agreed with Scarlett, didn't do Anne Rice justice......

This film was a wonderful adaptation to the book. For those of us that are overly retentive about their Anne Rice Im sure there were things we would like to point out that were different between the book and the movie. But to market the movie believably to the general masses, they needed to be changed.

Overall... excellent film. Very happy with the results.

I thought this was very faithful to the book, not 100% of course but the main ideas came across well and brad pitt was good in it. Tom cruise however......whats with the hissing when you bite people? what are you a snake?

This movie was a decent telling of the book-- but I prefer the book myself as well.

Brad Pitt in bad wigs. Kirsten Dunst made this movie. Great into for Banderas.
