Poll

Times Read: 679

I voted on a poll this morning.it asked if CMs should be able to mark members with a mark of shame.

I voted no,but would have voted HELL NO if I could have.

Why? Because a mark of shame is not trivial. In reality,if a member were to recieve one,it should come from the prince. He is the hear all,see all here and doesnt just toss them about because someone might piss him off one day.I dont think that most CMs would exercise enough prudence to be in control of something as serious as this.

I proceed to ask the only people I know who might have even sent them..nope,not from any of them.

My best grilled shrimp

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup olive oil

1 can diced tomatoes

1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

4 tablespoons chopped fresh basil

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

2 pounds fresh shrimp (extra-large to jumbo, 16-20 per pound), peeled and deveined

skewers

Place all ingredients except shrimp and skewers in blender or food processor. Pulse or blend until coarse.

Place shrimp in a large bowl. Pour mixture over shrimp and stir until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour, stirring once or twice.

Preheat grill for medium heat. Thread shrimp onto skewers, piercing once near the tail and once near the head. Discard marinade.

Lightly oil grill grate. Cook shrimp on preheated grill for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until opaque.

Bridges burned,backs turned...

15:48 Feb 11 2012

We have all known those who do things to others that are decietful, hateful, self serving and who bully others in attempt to present a facade to outsiders who dont know better.

However, there comes a point where the lies, the cheating and the bullying become unbearable and people make a stand.Often, when a person sees that they have worn out their welcome by their actions and lies, they either change,or they leave .On the other hand, some simply can not ..they do not feel remorse, they blame everyone else and they either try to justify their actions or they simply deny that their actions have pushed those around them to the point where they have had enough. It is very amazing to me why these type of people would choose to stay in a place where they are despised. Why they would continue to remain in a place where every word or interaction with them is seen by the majority as pretty much stepping in scat.

What drives people like these to strong arm theirselves into peoples lives where it has become plain and clear that they are no longer welcome?

Their claims that "No one knows the real story" well, thats true.Because for one,the REAL story has never been told.Only lies and deception. This can only go on so long, because after time, the truth DOES come out,and when it does,no one WANTS or cares to know the story. They only want the offenders gone.

Anyone have ANY idea why someone would stay after it has been made clear by almost EVERYONE that they are no longer welcome?

And then to continue to throw professions to one another in a mentally sick and corrupted online love affair in everyone's faces that NO one wants any part of hearing or knowing about.

Anyone have ANY insight to as anyone would remain where they are NOT respected,no longer believed ? There comes a point of no return. Why do they?

Thanks Artist. Its a shame to even feel inspired to write something like this.

Even her OWN snake bit the crapp out of her because of her ignorance.

Maybe ,since she seems to have wanted it so badly, she will actually get that skin infection she lied to everyone about having for sure.Although the one she picked as the original affliction is caused by a mold which grows in dark, wet and filthy bathrooms...

Funny how things work sometimes.;)

The only conclusion is because they are in fact mentally ill and unstable... there is no sane and logical when it comes to them so expecting them to do such is silly. They will still be here still trying to pull the same bullshit over and over again. why? because every village needs an idiot and we got lucky to be afforded a few lol.

MooniePie
MooniePie
22:23 Feb 11 2012

Honestly, I believe they do it because there is some mental retardation mixed in with some mental disorders. Also, there are still people that stick by them and enable their behavior. Granted I've seen some of the ones who stick by them pull pretty close to the same behavior so it doesn't surprise me.

When you like to play the victim, you will put yourself in any situation to keep playing the role. And when you like to try to act like the knight and shining armor, you will do anything to try and save someone, no matter how many lies are told, by acting as such even though its a false persona because they can't even save themselves.

I've seen the same actions many times before. It just gets old after awhile.

Had a restless night last night.

This morning I went out to make my rounds and TBone wasnt there.

Sigh..

A sad start to the day.I shouldnt be,but Im just mopin around again now.

Strange how we can become so close to animals.Sometimes we just dont realize how big a part they play in our lives.Even a gentle, big ol steer.

I do have something to share about life and death.Yesterday,as TBone died, there were 14 kids and 4 sheep born. When I was told this,I couldnt help but think" Well it'll take at least that many to cover ol TBones place ...

My daughter, who is four years old, loves this show. I change the channel when it becomes inappropriate for her to watch. I can't believe some of the outfits. But I do really like a lot of them. The one episode where the girl went offstage in a Barbie car was Aurora's favorite, especially since the little girl had a say in some of her routine. It was cute.

But we turn it over to Nick Jr. or practice other things with her facing away from the television and it on mute when it goes south.

She wants to do pageants though. =) If she starts listening to instructions better and sitting still longer, I'll let her do a couple to see if she still wants to. She's not even half as bratty as most of those girls. And she LOVES getting pampered. =D

Oceanne
Oceanne
20:45 Feb 03 2012

You have to let them be girls for sure, but I watch some of those parents and they are just...weird.

And sadly, they let their girls act like little monsters.

Its sad.

And anytime,ANYTIME you equate sex with a child its wrong.

There is something REALLY creepy about a small girl,in make up singing a song about sex or sexy.

DireConsequences
DireConsequences
21:18 Feb 03 2012

I agree. Although I've quit trying to keep her away from the radio. It's everywhere! Everywhere! I love the music but I don't want my daughter listening to it. Heck, I love the song Candy From a Stranger by Britney Spears but my daughter has NEVER heard it. Filthy song.

And hell no! I won't let her go walking out on stage in a hooker looking outfit! She'll be looking like a princess or an age appropriate Barbie type deal. Not a hooker. She was upset I wouldn't get her a two piece swim suit. She's four. She doesn't need one with the perverts out there.

I do get dirty looks however for the makeup. So what? My daughter is wearing clothes meant for her age. She has manners. She's not a terror to be around. Everyone is taken by her... and most women when they talk to her, are taken by her. I think the makeup is the least of my mistakes I could do by raising my daughter. =)

Oceanne
Oceanne
22:48 Feb 03 2012

I think theres a big dfference in make up thats caked on and makes a little girl look like a whore and make up that simply enhances her face.

A lot of thos moms go way too far.

And you know,if a child happens to catch a drift of a song thats not quite appropreate, thats one thing.Put to put the mic in her hand so she can sing about how sexy she is? thats another.

You sound like a good mom.Maybe pageants will get lucky and get a few of you who can set a good example and raise the standards.Cause right now, they arent set so high, and most of those moms are creepy.

Eugh. I am so glad we don't get this show here.

I hate, hate HATE seeing little kids in make-up. It's instilling the idea that they can't be beautiful without make-up, that they need it for day-to-day-wear.

I think I'd be a selfish mother, and keep my little one all to myself, not visually whore her out at 3 years old.

Ugh.

The children don't have a say in it - they're not old enough to make their choice. I'd be disgusted and horrified if I found that my mother put me in a child pageant-type thing.

12:09 Feb 14 2012

on fb there was an article about a mom that looks like a barbie and is doing the same for her daughter. That's beyond gross. She needs meds. Once i saw from a forein channel a beauty contest and there were 2 yr olds crying because they were tired and their moms yelling at them. My worry is that these type of moms and daughters become the normality, maybe they're already.
