Instead of naming your fave vampires as Interview With a vampire and Bram Stokers :Dracula over and over...name your fave Obscure Vampire Movie...such as Dracula : Prince of Darkness or Andy Warhols :Dracula
Here I thought I was the only one that had seen Lair of the White Worm.
Cold Hearts.
No way, Adam, its a great movie. And most people don't know that she is a vampire.....
I bet a lot of people don't know that Hugh Grant is in it either.
I loved Lifeforce... dreamed of Mathilda May (the female vamp) for years after without remebering WHERE I had seen her (but then again, I am partial to dark haired ladies)
Didn't Rick Springfield have the first grab at foerver knight? or some other vampire series?
Hmm, maybe I will. First I need to find a copy and watch it again though. I haven't seen that movie in four or five years.
Lair of the White Worm I have on dvd Amanda Donahue is hot and Rick Springfield did the TV movie Nick Knight...which was turned into Forever Knight with Garent Wein Davies ...I have Nick Knight on dvd as well

Octane.
Has Mischa Barton in it. It's playing on one of the show times now actually.
Do the sub species movies count? If not all of them then Sub Species 4: The Vampire Journals must count at least.
well SubSpecies movies are vampire movies...the first 2 came out in theaters...but Im looking for vampire movies that aren't mainstream viewing
1. The Sentinels of Darkness!
A limited joint Greco-Romanian Vampire movie! Not much as a movie but lots of laughs!
2. The way of the vampire (they claim that is based on a Bram Stoker's short story).
gypsy 83 but it isn't about vampires.. but it's gothic..
I read somewhere...there are like over 30,000 vampire movies alone
lol i didnt no what the word obscure meant so i had to ask people *blushes* all wells.....

The Forsaken (2001)
The Fearless Vampire Killers (1967)
The Breed (2001)
Innocent Blood (1992)
Zombies Vs. Vampires
I should of known from the title it wasn't what I was thinking, but I figured I'd watch it anyway. I don't recommend it. It SAYS it's based on Carmilla by Le Fanu. My ass it is.
Black Sunday(I think) from the 1960's- Some very well endowed female vamps
Near Dark, Vamp-this had Grace Jones..weird movie but I enjoyed it nonetheless..Satanic Rites of Dracula,The Breed-Adrian Paul was in this..
Interview with a Vampire
I like Brad Pitt but one thing I hate is the stupid Blade Movies They just poke fun at Vampire for Half an Hour!
If you all read the title of this thread and the first post as well this is for OBSCURE Vampire Movies not more well known, widely seen, mainstream Vampire movies.
Please follow the topic of discussion.Please. :)
Saw a bad vampire movie a few years back, so obscure I can't even remember the name of it. It was about this vampire chick who was an assassin, and she had a rival vampire guy she was fighting and at the end, it turned out they were simply playing a huge game with eachother that spanned about a hundred years or so.
Urgh.
That was a British cheapo flick called 'Razor Blade Kisses'.
I believe someone mentioned it already.
My favourite bit was when they slo-mo'ed her jumping over a tennis net...*laughs*
Yes Batchyld ....OBSCURE...Interview With a Vampire is mainstream...Near Dark has been posted 3 times...but a good one...
Even Vampire movies from other countries is welcome
'I've been watching you'. Only seen it the once, but basicaly its about a fraternity of vampires who feed on the other students. Not brilliant, but its the most obscure one i've seen.
Oh, and Shadow of the Vampire, and one i've got but haven't seen yet called Vampire Hunters - its a kungfu/horror hybrid. I really should watch it sometime
anne rice Queen of the Damned.... staring Alliyah and Stawart Townsend
That is a manistream movie..and always named...these are OBSCURE...means not .....always known
again...read the title...Dracula 2000 is mainstream...OBSCURE movies...little known titles...foreign films...NOT any Anne Rice movies...NOT the same titles over and over

if you don't know what OBSCURE means...then don't post the same movie title over and over
OBSCURE : adj. Little known ,undefined, unnoticed, remote or apart of the rest.
A few people have already named it. Near Dark is my all time favorite vampire movie, obsecure or mainstream. I saw it about ten years ago and have told my wife about it but have never been able to find it so she could watch it.
Is Blackula obscure enough...
hehe
see..I can read a dictionary....unlike so very many who have posted here....
Yes Daermon ha ha ...and I have Near Dark on video and dvd ...try www.columbiahouse.com
The Eternal!! the only best b rated movie that i love. the rest i seen at my work sucks.
'fangs'..
*slams head on desk..
the name is not real original but neither was the movie, i suppose.
daeg.
I own lair of white worm.. That movie is pretty ridiculous... im stuck on the name of the carppiest vampire film I ever saw. I just watched it the other day. it was a 1970 vampire movie called carmilla or something like that.. made me think of dark shadows.. although I loved darkshadows this move was just bad tasting.
1: The breed
2: tsui harks vampire hunters *excelent movie*
3: Mr. vampire *asian comedy vampire film*
4:Razorblade smile
5:vampire effect
There is a DVD released called "VLAD" ..... check it out ;)
how about Tales from the Crypt presents Bordello of Blood
Well for everyone that is telling people what obscure is.. think about this..
To some people Obscure is an unobscure word!!!!
Meaning you should have stated it simply in the subject line. You have to remember some are not good with words and are young...
WhiteFlameVamp did you read the title of this thread? The word OBSCURE is the very first word.It was also said in the thread the word obscure and he wanted favorite OBSCURE vampire films.
What is so hard to understand? He doesn't want MAINSTREAM FILMS being mentioned here.Obviously even after I pointed this out he came and said same thing and still people posted MAINSTREAM movies..Why is it so hard to follow the topic of discussion? It really isn't in my eyes.Next person to post a mainstream movie has warranted the threads closing. Nothing personal DarkWolfMan. :)
The lost boys
'Vampyre's Kiss' starring Nicolas Cage.
Lair of the white worm
Ok...Im closing the thread myself...The Lost Boys is MAINSTREAM
