Last night I discovered a large lump at the base of my neck off to the right. It looks like a thyroid nodule but since I am no doctor I am hoping to get into the clinic today and get it checked out. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little freaked out....and the clinic doesn't open till 5:30 and I am supposed to pick Pinja up at 8:00 tonight. Accck!
Nothing like going to the salon and being pampered, highlights and waxed, next is my pedi because in just 4 more days Pinja will be here for a visit ;)
COMMENTS
:) i went yesterday, it's very relaxing.
Makes ya feel purty :D
Yah for girly stuff!
Pinja is a very lucky man! mind you pedicure are yum.. but gosh don't it tickle when they massage the balls of your feet and toes!
My neighbor across from me, the one that moved in last year with the southern accent, believes in getting up at the crack o' dawn. Now, she is just as sweet as can be but mind you she has 5 dogs and when she gets up so do they. I live on a private road which has a dead end and every person on this block owns AT LEAST one dog each. So....when her dogs go off, so do the rest, and mine.
I think the next time her and I get together and chat I'll be slipping her a valium in her nighttime toddy ;)
Must have sleep.
COMMENTS
let me know if ya need a donation to the pill pot catty.
Hehe
Since she's 'new on the block' just tell her the story about the guy that steals barking animals but only if they bark before ten!!
LOL...not at the dog's barking. You slipping the gal a valium...too funny!
Admittedly I am a horrible, horrible cook but I just love to watch cooking shows especially Gordon Ramsay and his Hells Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares and Masterchef shows! So entertaining and he is such a hard ass hehe. Plus all the yummy looking food Mmmmmm. I envy them, they make it look so easy.
COMMENTS
A woman who does NOT know HOW to cook? What the .... What's the world coming too now!
I have other talents ;)
Gordon is the shit! I love that man...plus his accent ...oh hell ya LOL:) I like when he says "you guys ready for the opening yes?" Or uses yes at the end of his sentences:) ....but his food...yum...go to his restaurants in the US...its awesum:):):)
I don't like cooking programs but reading these comments I'd love to know more about your 'other' talents!
How many of you have a friend that is always late and never on time for ANYTHING!??! It drives me absolutely insane. I have known this particular friend for 25 years now and I can count on one hand the times she has been on time for something we are doing. You would think I'd be used to it by now but apparently not because I end up missing shit due to her tardiness. Just rude.
COMMENTS
I'm turning out to be that friend, lol. Leaving everything to the last minute. If it helps, I feel like shit when I do. :P
And it's better than the friend who says they'll turn up and never does, with not even a call to say they're not coming...
You'd think that after 25 years she'd get better at being on time.
That friend would be an ex-friend lol. (the no-show) I'm a procrastinator but I like to be organized and considerate. When I had all the kids at home and was working 3 jobs at the same time I was late often but with good reason. I have no excuse these days.
She needs to be removed from your Xmas card list.
I blame you, stop waiting for her, she'll learn!
True, lol.
I've never been above lying about when something starts for people like that.
Headed out to see Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter with one of my friends. I have the book and I thought it was pretty good so I hope my expectations don't get crushed. Books tend to be way better than the movie imo. Haven't really heard any reviews on it.
COMMENTS
I want spoilers! D: I wanna see that movie. :P Give us a review when you come back?
Books do tend to be superior to the films that come from them. In any case, I hope the movie is good!
Yeah. Do tell us about your thoughts on the movie!
This is one I want to see too, I haven't done the book (never knew there was one) but that said I haven't even seen the new Batman film yet!! So it's on my list. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.
I saw it opening night. It's pretty good. Since you've read the book and I haven't, I can't speak to that. But without that context, I had a good time!
It was freaking awesome! I loved it :D
My girlfriends are dragging me to an outdoor concert tonight, I say dragging because I am not a big fan of country music but I'm sure I will find a way to have some fun and debauchery ;)
Just saw on the news: 12 dead 59 injured, moviegoers watching the new batman movie at a Colorado movie theater...What the hell is wrong with people? :(

People like that have serious problems. o.o Such a waste to have killed so many.
The minute I heard it this morning,I called my son,who is out there and goes to that theatre .I was relieved to know he want there that night.
My heart goes out to anyone who had a loved one there. Its so sad that any and everything we do in daily life has the potential to kill us or anyone we love, just due to people like him. .
This day and age is pretty scary when you can't even be safe going to the movies. Those poor people :(
I'm putting my trip to America back several years now.
Seriously though, this stuff only happens in the US.
How tragic. My heart goes out to all involved.
its s seriously messed up world we live in
My friend Kacey, a case of Hefeweizen and I are headed to the beach for the day. Can't wait to feel the sand between my toes, get some sun on this body and catch up with a really good friend. It's going to be a great day! :D
I've got a hot date with this guy today, going to lunch at our favorite place and a movie, Ice Age ;)

Good film and handsome company. Great combo ;-)
A -ha! I knew it!
I hope you two have a great day!
Adorable! Hehe...I wanna see!!! Hope its good:)
Wondering if the public can buy tasers because after this morning I'm thinking one might come in hand. I got a little creeped out while doing my walk/jog routine along the river this morning. The path has 3 avenues, one separated by a small stream with access walkways to the others, the middle path then one up a small incline, all visible to the others. I was on the middle path when I noticed a guy sitting in his truck along the path next to the stream. He flashes his lights at me as I walk by, I keep going ignoring him. I'm the only one on the paths. I notice that he gets out of his truck as I get a little aways, he starts walking on the other path so I decide to begin my jogging. I get to the section where I turn around and go back and notice this guy is NOWHERE, the only direction he could of gone was straight or back OR in the bushes, which are thick here. I can see his truck from my view point and notice there is no one in it. I'm a wee bit disturbed. So I jet on up the side of the hill to the other path where you can see EVERYTHING, no guy. EEEEK. This guy had to of been superman to get by me and the invisible man, only one place he could of been and that was enough for me to get the hell out of dodge. I stayed on the top path where it is safest and booked it to my car. Oh yay for blisters heh!
COMMENTS
If not...perfume to the eyes helps.
Sounds like something out of Jeepers Creepers. O.o
Why buy a taser when you guys are allowed guns! lol
Better blisters than...well, you fill in the blanks.
I'm glad that you are okay. keeping fit by running may have saved you! But still - where the hell did the creep go?
If you got a good look at him you might want to notify the police.
This reminds me of part of one of the Anita Blake books, where some guys tried to shoot her and Ronnie while they were jogging. :x
Sounds like you need to get some pepper spray and a taser. That would have creeped me out from second one!
I would look into a Ruger LCP .380 or a Beretta Nano 9mm both small and better then a taser.
A little after 8 p.m here and it is STILL 103 degrees out! Inside my house it reads 84, my clothes are starting to cling to my body, icky sticky. Me no likey :(

lol well you could always take them off and put on the itty bitty little bikini LMAO!you know you want to.
LOL! How about nude? yeah, I like nude ;)
On my way back from Montana to Idaho we hit the Continental Divide which I thought was pretty cool. Interesting to see water flow one way and then just a bit down the opposite. The forest is so lush and green through Lolo Pass. Gotta love nature/Geography. I'm fortunate to live in some really beautiful country, it's so easy to take it for granted. It would be nice if I could go back up to Alaska where I was born and visit my family *sighs*, that's a trip for another day :)
COMMENTS
You arent up in the panhandle are you? Near Sandpoint? Hope?
Sandpoint is about 2 1/2 hours from me :) been there a few times..
The Continental Divide, that's the wet country where America drains into the oceans. I can imagine the area being so lush and pretty. Over here it's just 'wet'!!
giggles at Bloodlife's comment. Hey Pandy, if you ever want a friend to help you travel the Great Divide again, give me a shout!
Just got home from Montana and the funeral service for Garry, I'm exhausted both physically and emotionally, been up since 3 a.m with only 3 hours sleep and it was a very long drive. The service was really nice and his family just wonderful, my heart really goes out to them. It's just so sad and heart wrenching. I've shed a lot of tears this month, pored over old photos and memories and have done a lot of soul searching. I think I am going to crash for the night and call it a day.
I have been fishing for at least 40 years now but yesterday was the first time that I ever took one of those things I call miniature snakes and put it on the hook myself *shudders*. The slimy texture and the squirmy wiggle just freak me out!
I am now traumatized. Ick.

You must have a very lucky sex life ;-)
Sex? What's that? :P
Such a lady :D
Losing two friends this month has me really thinking about my own mortality and how easy it is to take it for granted. I don't want to do that anymore. I've always been afraid of death and being Agnostic I really don't have a "life after death" future in my mind.
I used to balk at the idea of telling someone my age, not due to vanity but rather my fear of death and having to face it and think about how much time I may or may not have left here.
I sometimes feel that being Agnostic is just an excuse because I know that if I had faith I would fall short in His eyes, way short. And maybe I just don't have the balls to face it or deal with it.
Just thoughts..
COMMENTS
I so have to agree with you...probably why I drown myself in my kids and my volunteer work...so at least when I die ...I will have imprinted other peoples lives in a positive way:) I used to be afraid too...but maybe because I've been pronounced dead before and came back I feel when its truly my time it won't be so bad...I dunno...the unknowns scare me...*huggs* sorry for your losses hun...
Thanks dear :)
Death is getting closer as the years go by, I also have lost people younger than me and older...Lots of people I know have found faith as they grow older because of the fear of death and because well...we just don't know.
I still like to think that there is something else after death....otherwise what is the point other than to populate!
So long as you do what you can, and do your best to be a good person, you can't fall short. You do so many nice things for people, and if something you do is wrong you usually have remorse. Bad people don't feel remorse for their shitty actions. Bad people don't try to talk it out, bad people just feel justified in everything, and continue doing their negative actions without revelation of what they are becoming. You are a wonderful person.
Awwww ♥
Received a call last night that another friend and past co-worker passed on this weekend. Garry died of brain cancer. He had just been diagnosed in February and moved to Montana to be near family while receiving treatment. Garry had struggled through life, often deeply depressed and a few bouts at rehab for alcoholism. I wonder if he enjoyed life? While we had always had a good relationship it was rare to see him smile, at least one that was from the inside. He was witty in that sarcastic way that he had and made the "not so nice" customers easier to bare with his post-comments. He was a good guy, I'll miss him.
I hope he found some peace.
COMMENTS
Sounds like you had some good memories, it's all we have in the end.
hope he found peace too. Sorry for the loss of your co-worker.
Sorry hunny ...hugs xx
I hope so too.
I had the most wonderful day with my son Justin. I took him fishing up at Waha Lake, the water was clear, the air fresh and the sky blue, perfect. He caught a ton of trout and bass, I just love seeing him so happy ♥
COMMENTS
Glad you had a good day. You echo my sentiments when you say that you love just seeing them happy :-)
Glad you both had a great day out and fishing is bloody great! I like to kiss the fish if it's a big one!
Moments like these make it so worthwhile:)
Getting dolled up to go to a friends Birthday dinner/drinks party, should be fun, I got her a cool gift from Pier 1, hope she likes it as I don't know her all that well. Not going to imbibe like I did Wednesday night however lol, or I say that now hehe.

You could use google to get a idea of what it is.
Just type in to the Google search engine, the description of what the lump looks like. And Google should show something up on one of the web-pages about it.
