Any good ideas, VR? I have a few...man I love that guillotine girafef, though. I kinda want one. Couldn't you see these toys in the Addams' Family nursery?

Neighborhood Stranger Playset I love. Well the site is own by a man who calls himself Cancer... :)
I wonder if SNL ever patented their old "Johnny Flame-O" Halloween costume. It's a can of gasoline and a book of matches for the ultimate realism in Halloween fun!
They missed the obvious; Easy-Bake Oven/Crystal Meth kit...
Didn't SNL also have "Bag O Glass?"
Oh my GOD...look how I spelled "giraffe!" Why didn't anyone tell me?! Soooo lucky I'm a comment slut or I'd have to fix it.
I think you need the candy van in there:D
I'm not sure about the "Bag 'O' Glass" but I know Mad Magazine offered a coupon for $7.00 off for a 50-pound bag of chippy ground glass.
I figured "girafef" was a French spelling or some kind of ballet term.
Vagabond Barbie abortion kit. (Includes: miniature hangar, pliers and zip-lock freezer bag.)
Ewww, no... that's too nasty. Can't post that!!
Suicidal/Emo Ken doll. Complete with pills, miniature razor, girl jeans, and blood refill!

During acupuncture school, some of my classmates thought that their cool tattoos meant one thing... only to find out they meant something very different O.o No real point to this except say, don't tattoo it unless you confirm the translation :)
Sage advice!
There is a really cool Engineer where I work who is from China.
One of the operators has Chinese characters on his arm that HE thought meant "Strong Warrior". She saw it and burst out laughing....so hard that tears were running from her eyes. She still won't tell us what it REALLY means!
Sadly, my real name has no translation into Chinese. That is so true, the artist who did my tat told me he had a girl come in to get "sassy bitch" in Chinese characters. He said he tried to explain to her that that exact phrase didn't exist in Chinese and the closest he could do would actually mean "disobedient female dog" but she wouldn't listen.

How much time do we have to rifle your undies?
Gosh... took me a while to find the ones that I have always loved. Why? I got to reading them again. :) You so need to enter a contest- share these words with others.
I loved Foci but its to long. :(
So I pick Genassist. Reminds me of your town, of life as a whole.
I have to send in the app by Nov 30, so plenty of time :)
Not until considering this did I realize the number of your poems that are 25 - 31 lines in length. And as I tried to find a favorite, I found that no such thing can exist among the bits of you so carefully weighed and offered. Poetry is such a personal thing, touching each with a different hand, the tracing of a finger or the tip of a lusty tongue. In each a part of the observer as crafted and guided by the teasing of the word-smith. So the best I can offer is a list which is but a slight reduction from the shear number and value you offer.

To pick just one... not possible.
That's a difficult choice, but I think my vote would go to ' My Comfortor'.

Awww he makes a handsome superhero. I will be sure to keep my eye out for him around here:D
Excellent! I heard from someone who heard it from someone who used to know someone, that he's seeking a sidekick. Word on the street is that his evil arch-nemesis, ThumbCat has some diabolical scheme afoot!
I have not seen the thumbcat in a while... could it be possible that it is, as we speak, sitting in a subterranean base surrounded by minions while stroking a tiny... human.
I am scared now. Save me The Urinator, you are my only hope!
Thumbcat is chewing on a plastic bag at my house as you type. She thinks by doing so she will distract me from sending out my S.O.S.
Neither hydrant nor villain are safe.

No silly...
defense mechanism: having a dispenser of Tuck's pads handy after a long day of horseback riding :P
It's a shame we have to be so specific as to the part of the horse. Why isn't "horse riding" sufficient? ;)
Uhm... don't answer that.

Very nice lesson.
Lesson? There's a lesson here?
Perhaps where some see morals and lessons, I see life...
The boy gets profit and adrenaline rush, and the girl gets to play the Innocent Card?
Sounds pretty normal to me.
Stabb and I have been talking about Crime and Punishment. The discussions have been in depth and really thought-provoking. He is just finishing the book. I read it when I was very young...the summer after eighth grade. Having an adult and an adolescent perspective has made me revisit what that book meant to me.
Because I was young and American, the themes in the book were VERY heavy and dark. It was the first book I had read that took an existential look at man and how he views himself and his place in the world. I watched as Raskolnikov became spiritually and physically sick. I WORE that book for years after I read it. In many ways, I still do. I recall vividly the man who beat his horse while others looked on. It was surreal and deeply disturbing to my young self.
I will never forget it. In short, it was a great book that made me think differently. Last summer, I tried to read The Brothers Karamazov. It is also by Dostoevsky. My father referenced this book my whole life and I REALLY wanted to read it. I have rarely had to force myself to get through a book like I did with this one. I absolutely slogged through and eventually, I set it aside. Maybe one day I'll feel the need to visit that bizarre family again when I have time and great will.
For now, we're going to have a fun read. We're going to check out some sci-fi. We're going to read the Way series by Greg Bear. The first one is called Eon. It is an older trilogy that's considered sci-fi classic now. I'm excited and can't wait to get started! We'll probably be talking about them a good bit, so if you want to pick up a copy and join us, please come on!
COMMENTS
I'm really looking forward to getting a bit of fiction in that's more light on the soul. Although the reviews of The Way do seem to show it being a far out story.
It's always good to read with you.
Ah, I love Dostoevsky!
Have you read Notes From Underground? It's my favourite of his. ^.^
bah....egomanism or altruism, the ideas are obviously mututally exclusive. There is no way that Utilitarianism could ever defeat the argument of faith in a society that has already been exposed to Christianity. Good for D..fighting the 17th century hyper-rational Russians, however Hayek remains correct: It is too difficult for human reason to comprehend its own limitations.
Wow, Sevenn...I didn't even know Salma was a philosopher!
I so liked 'Crime & Punishment.'
As good, for different reason's as 'Kingdom Of Fear.'
Soooo...if this guy had the rank of, say...Captain...who might he remind you of? hmmmm?

A local gym went out of business here and I bought a bunch of their equipment at 10% of its value. I now have all of these machines, except the tricep/bicep machine in the lower left hand corner. I also bought two of the teak running boards they had for stationary cardio. Circuit training is awesome!

Extremely cool.

Now I'm jealous... I HAVE to get a macro lens.
Wonderful shots! You always help us see the world as you see it.... in a way only you can.
Thank you!
I had a giant walking leaf in my hands once.
Incredibly strange feeling. It was perfectly shifting it's whole bodyweight from side to side, trying to look like it was a real leaf blowing in the wind.
My skin color must have been somewhat annoying to it.
