My Coven

Hello and welcome to my little piece of the web.
I am just your average blood drinking vampyre
trying to make it through this thing called
unlife.

I was born in an average city, to an ordinary family,
but i was not ordinary.
I was always the shy more alone type
and always thought of a sorta strange.
I was picked on as a child and started to be drawn
to things of a darker nature.
I started to self injure around 8 years old.
It started small with scratching, and friction burns
and grew larger with time until I was a full blown
cutter.
I cut to release the emotional pains I was going through.
Always being the strange one, always being picked on,
always feeling less than everyone else.
The cuts and the blood eased those feelings
yet was only a brief escape.

Cutting became a tool for me as was later pointed out
by someone because of how I dressed. It became a tool
to sort out people who did not truly care. If they
still attempted to get to know me despite my appearance
and knowing of my actions, maybe I could trust them.

By the time I was in my teens to early twenties
I was cutting regularly. I loved the taste of blood
and was becoming more unstable in life.
I was also a musician and usiing my actions to
gain attention from people. Until one day in an argument
anger caused me to stab myself 7 times in the stomach.
I was then sent to a menatl facility for about 2 weeks
during November and Thanksgiving time.

Over the years I have come to learn about the way I feel
and although cutting eased the emotional pain, it also
fueled more cutting. When a cutter feels low self esteem
and then starts looking at the scars, they wonder how
will anyone love someone like them? The thoughts cause
more depression and trigger more cutting.

As I mentioned above I am also a musician although I have
done nothing of real importance just a lot of home
recording.
Some of my main influences are Alice Cooper, David Bowie,
KISS, Marilyn Manson, Wednesday 13, Steve Vai, and many
other of the 80s metal/hair metal era. I love flashy
guitar players, and I love theatrics.

I also enjoy art, mainly I like cartoon, comic style art
for my own personal style. Some of my favorite artists are
Todd McFarlane, Skottie Young, Eric Pigors, Gris Grimly,
Sam Kieth and Charles Schulz.
