Akatsuki Kojou was a normal human until he becomes the 4th Progenitor, the worlds strongest vampire that was thought to only be in legends. He continues to attempt to live as a normal human, but when a organization called the Lion King Organization sends an observer after him, his life as a normal human is over. It is now Himegari Yukina's job to observe Kojou, and decide if he is safe enough to continue to keep on living. Kojou and Yukina's life becomes action packed with the two of them having to deal with more and more people finding out about the 4th progenitor's existence, putting them into dangerous situations, and deal with high school romance drama at the same time.
