There they were, sitting in an office, waiting for the next representative at the TVA (Temporal Vehicle Administration) to get custom plates on their TARDIS devices. Bored out of their minds, The Master and Doctor Who started talking about the Screwdrivers. What began as a talk turned into a debate, and then escalated to an all out battle as the Doctor and Master whipped out their respective tools and began shooting invisible beams at each other. No one knows if they ever got their custom plates, but everyone knows about the war between the two.

And now you can recreate the war in your own office or living room with the Doctor Who Laser Battle Set. Each set includes one Sonic and one Laser Screwdriver full of IR sensors and emitters (and show-accurate lights and sounds). While they don't extend, they do shoot beams at each other. Each one starts at full power (represented by 5 LEDs on the handle), with one level of power disappearing with each hit. Get hit 5 times, and (as they say on Gallifrey) you're toast. And for building your skills when you are alone, the set comes with a little Toclafane Practice Target. Everything you need to be as sure a shot as Doctor Who.
