The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

The novel begins with the Resistance aboard the Mothership, having just disarmed the Visitor Doomsday device. A study of the ship shows that the red-dust toxin did not spread throughout the entire ship, and the Resistance and Fifth Columnists are forced to trust some of the other Visitor technicians and engineers in order to get the ship back to L.A. safely. They also chase down and capture Diana's escape shuttle.
--In Los Angeles, the Resistance members salvage whatever they can from the Visitor Legation and attempt to reconstruct the Visitor equipment at their camp.
--The returning Mothership causes panic in some - and the authorities, who have been converted by Diana, arrest the Resistance members who are trying to re-animate the humans at a local processing plant, as well as those from the Mothership. Several Visitors still loyal to Diana revolt on the Mothership.
--Juliet discovers the telepathic by-products of conversion, and attempts a de-conversion process using Sean Donovan as a guinea pig!
