Ok I know this may be a wierd combination and probably incorrect BUT it makes for an interesting descussion. So I'm goin out on a limb here to see if this thought could be a possability for time travel and spacetime leaps. (Einstien's Rosen Bridge)

Anyways, I had a dream today that really intregued me.
When it come to Parallel Universes, there is a universe for every single possible outcome, right?
Also a Parallel Universe is less than a few milimeters away, we just cant see it because our conciousness can only see one. Right?
So what if, in order to travel long distances or just traveling through time, you must jump to an entirely different universe that is exactly the same but in a different time...

What if that is the ONLY way to travel back in time or travel long distances????

I want to hear everyones thought on this one. Im very fascinated by physics. Hell, I might even learn something.

I'm planning on going to college for physics and astrophysics. So during my waiting period, I want to learn as much as possible before I go to college on those particular subjects.

By the way, I will be taking notes for study. If you have anything i can use to study this, post the link or url along with your valued opinion.

It's an interesting idea, but my only problem is that as of yet, and possibly never will, we have no way to tear a Rosen Bridge to these alternate universes. I think you may be correct, but the truth is I won't say that they do unless we have some sort of proof, physical proof that they exist.

True that, but our military ("our" as in the human race) may have that technolegy already... this my be a rosen bridge or it may not, but it sure does look like one. check out this video on youtube to see for yourself

In astral travel we could travel anywhere we want, through time, across the vastness of space. The opportunities are endless there, but also dangerous. I believe some how we could learn how to harness that and then use it to travel back into the past but only with our minds and possibly take the mind of another person living the past for a short time. Idk.

I think if we did learn how to do such a thing to physically travel back into the past or into the future then we would have to learn how to transform our bodies into pure energy and then make them rematerialize in other time or across a great distance.

I believe it could be possible if we could figure it out not only scientifically but also spiritually. But that's just my opinion.

very interesting idea.... You know if we could transform our body into just pure energy with a conciousness, we wouldnt need resources. we could live forever

I don't know what that vortex is, but I think that it is not a Rosen Bridge, but we will not know for a while, if ever. What I am more interested in is this link and the video that came before it. Possible confirmation that Earth may not have been the only planet to develop intelligent life. Personally I am not surprised at that so much as I am that humans have dismissed the truth of how likely the chances were.

haha Yeah well i firmly believe in Inteligent life outside of our own planet. there are many thing out there that we connot explain. Yet there is visual evidence to support and mathmatics proves it aswell.

I think people tend to dismiss these things because they don't know how to do it. Since they don't know how, they tend to just say it's impossible because they can't figure it out. This is what causes people to be skeptics.

This is true. Many times we have proved this. Like for example, we once thought we were the center of the universe or solar system. or we thought the world was flat. the problem we have as a race is that if we dont understand it then we either throw it aside and say its impossible or doesnt exist. Like the panda issue... we went 100s of yrs thinking it was mythical. and "experts" ,that have never once got off their lazy ass to look, said "well we know there are white bears, we know there are black bears and we know there are brown bears...BUT THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BLACK AND WHITE BEAR THAT EATS WOOD! ALL BEARS EAT MEAT!!" yet a few years later someone shoots one and brings back the fir and they set out on an expidition that took them 60 YEARS TO BRING ONE BACK!!! 30 of which, that actualkly searched.... we as a race are very flawed ....

Another thing we tend to do is if we do not understand it, then we label it as "Evil"

What kind of closed minded Do that?!?!? Man that alone is enough to piss me off aswell.

People just are really stupid that way. Lots of people do this because they are afraid of the unknown. People fear things they don't understand because they don't know what is going to happen. This is why they make things out to be a bad thing because they don't understand it, and since they don't understand they are afraid.

It really is ridiculous, but we can't really control an entire population of people to make them believe in something they don't believe in. I think the only thing we really can do is just try to encourage people to open them selves a little bit to the possibilities, but that doesn't mean they will accept or believe it. Some peoples minds...are just closed and never want to open.

Whilst I offer no specifics, I offer an over-view.
When mankind discovered Newtons theory he was in awe,
When mankind discovered Einsteins theory and then quantum theory he was in awe.
When man split the atom and Dna he was in awe.
When man saw the Solar system he was in awe.
When man saw a Galaxy he was in awe.
When man saw the Universe he was in awe.

My point is whether looking at the micro or macro, expect a lot more awe. I suspect it just goes on and on and anything you can imagine is happening somewhere in some time, just not your own.

I know I'm not the only one in this world that is intregued by such things BUT there are more ppl that dont care about it than ppl who do... the mass only cares about whos name is on their underware, or whats on their 500 channel tv, or who is being talked about on magazines... the world has lost their way.

When we speak about parallel universes we literally bring about the concept of alternate history. It's quite interesting to note that alternate histories is not some relatively new concept thought about in the last hundred years or so.

The earliest example of an alternate history is Book IX, sections 17–19, of Livy's Ab Urbe condita. Livy contemplated an alternative 4th century BC in which Alexander the Great expanded his empire westward instead of eastward; Livy asked, "What would have been the results for Rome if she had been engaged in war with Alexander?"

Ab urbe condita — is a monumental history of ancient Rome written in Latin sometime between 27 and 25 BC by the historian Titus Livius.

The period around the second World War also saw the publication of the time travel novel Lest Darkness Fall by L. Sprague de Camp where an American academic travels to the Italy of the Ostrogoths at the time of the Byzantine invasion led by Belisarius. De Camp's work is concerned with the historical changes wrought by his time traveler, Martin Padway, thereby making the work an alternate history. Padway is depicted as making permanent changes and implicitly forming a new time branch.

The physicist David Deutsch, a strong advocate of the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, has said that "By making good choices, doing the right thing, we thicken the stack of universes in which versions of us live reasonable lives. When you succeed, all the copies of you who made the same decision succeed too. What you do for the better increases the portion of the multiverse where good things happen."

You can look at both, The Montauk Project and the Philadelphia Experiment where the Unified Field Theory was implemented and time and space were, for a time meshed and Hyperspace was achieved. the original goal was for the potential of radar invisibility but many other doors were eventually opened that were chanced upon and explored in secret.

Hitler was very intrigued with the concept of time travel among other things, and a facility which was in another European country prior to WW2 that was actually experimenting with the theory, was dismantled and taken to Germany once Hitler had found out about it.

You have to remember that many esoterica avenues were being explored by the 3rd Reich that were light years ahead of anything the US could have conceived of at the time. Time travel, parallel dimensions, immortality etc...etc...

A fairly good rendition of this was the movie Hellboy as well as the Indiana Jones movie Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Keep which was supposed to be in Romania, the same place where Hitler removed the time travel experiment from in WW2.

An excellent Post, I would add to it by presenting this idea.

Dna shows us all men were not created equal, a real downer if you hail from one of the more backward societies.
( I will avoid naming regions as people get very upset)

Given that different folks DO have different mental abilities (FACT) it stands to reason that good deeds and positive thoughts from the top of the "food chain " have a greater impact on the Universe, the reality we experience.

In other words your average couch slob can only run 400 metres until they are spent, a fit Navy Seal can do 100 times the work.

What if the same is true of the mind ?

Look around you...make a millionaire poor? he gets it all back? Unfortunately such folks are also often Psychopaths because of the MAOA gene.

Something like when Gerald Gardner pulled all of the witches of England together at the cone of power during WW2...at the request of Winston Churchill to save England from Germany. That's about 400 placements of Energy directed against the 3rd Reich...and it worked.

The only other time the Cone of Power was used in England was in 1588 & 1805....and it worked then again to save England.

@MasterMell2

10 galaxies??? theres trillions among trillions of galaxies out there.... i think ur talking about dimensions :) there are actually 11 dimensions if u consider time as a dimension..(like most physics and scientists do)

A galaxy is a cluster of billions of stars and gasses that are swirlling around and binded together via gravity.

a dimension is a time of space...

1 dimension= a dot
2 dimensions= a line
3 dimensions= length, width and depth
4 dimensions= length, width, depth and time.

we live in 4 dimensions...not 3 like some schools and ppl teach...
see if we lived in 3 dimensions then we wouldnt be able to move let alone see, hear, taste and touch. cuz it takes time for ur brain to send and recieve the signal...

I wrote that wrong. So no worries. However the idea of being able to travel these places at speeds that would allow us to continue might appear Star Trek like. It would be great though to envision.

The idea of time travel comes to me as an interesting thought but what comes to me as a mind boggler is the idea to walk 3 feet and end up in an entirely new planet and time...And with Einstiens Rosenbridge u can do both in that matter :) And thats what fascinates me even more! One day i hope we can manage the technolegy to do so. But i can only hope that this sort of technolegy is used to benifit mankind... not destroy it.
