I have noticed that a few people do it to get levels up.
All i say to this is what the?
The way it pans out, one doesn't need to rate profiles/portfolios/member articles *not sure if they count* to get a high rating.
It is 10% and you don't need to fulfill all the requirements to hit the next level, you can accomodate with more in one area.
10% is all it is, so just spending time here is worth more, veiwing more pages is worth more, and a much easier way to get ratings up *seeing as how it would take what roughly 150 articles rated for a single percent* is to post in forums over rating.
Yet people continue with it on a shallow basis. I like what Cancer has done with some of the new updates *file storage and stamp* but i feel stamp will be used for those who just skim profiles anyway for the lvlling requirements.
If you want to level, come be sociable, you'll level a whole load faster than you will by rate whoring
Your thoughts, people, if you will
My thought is deal with it.
Politics of the world, sugar.
