Whats the difference? I haven't seen any where on the site that explains that. Some one explain it to me please.
My apologies to the forum moderators if theres been a previous topic about this, but I couldn't find one.
Ummmm.......Uhhhhhhhhh, I think maybe it might, just MIGHT be, um, uh, the um, uh S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G???? DUHHHHHHHH!!!
vampyre is the way that phyvamps spell it to stand aside from the mythical vampires for they are two different things.. its not just about the spelling..
"vampyre is the way that phyvamps spell it"... is not the very difference in the spelling??
There really isn't a different to me personally. I can see the olde english influence in vampyre (vampires according to legends and myths) and the modernized spelling (which would entail the more Hollywood vampire)
just my thoughts.
my thought was that it was just one of those words that has changed from one continent or time period and been modified, kinda like how chain mail is technically supposed to be chain maile
there is no real difference but vampyre sounds more ancient
Thanks for the info every one. I can't really see a reason to let this go any further, so I'm going to close it.
