Ok, so I went to the website and it said that you can attend all the events if your 18, but if there is anyone under the age of 21 in a cabin that there has to be a person over 25 there too...
does that mean I cant go? I mean, I'm 18.. and I dont know of anyone who would be slightly willing to go with me thats 25...and that kind of sucks.. because if I'm old enough to go to all the events, why cant I just go on my own?

so what do i have to do?
wait till the 2009 cruise?

NOTE: This applies to your age at the time of sailing.. not booking. So if you are under 21 on the first day of the cruise, this would apply to you. (if you ARE 21.. or older on the first day of the cruise, it does not apply to you.)

Unfortunately, the cruise lines set the age requirements, and pretty much every one of them is the same.

Some goth's are bringing their kids, as the ship has free sitter service, however the kids will not be admitted into the events - as they are not appropriate for people under 18.

I am going to start a roommate thread - You may be able to find someone over 25 there if you want to go.

What it is, is that the cruise don't want someone that is 21 and 18.
By having the 25 yo, they are more of an adult and can watch over you.
Alot of things do this.
I will probably go with my brother.
Now, just if I was old enough to drink, I could take advantage of that open bar.

Unfortunately these are thing mandated by the cruise lines and are their policy. I am helpless to make the cruise line change their policies.

A casino in Detroit, MI does this.
I couldn't go in because my friend was only 23.

Im not surprised.. there are alot of resorts in Cancun and Ft Lauderdale that raise the check in age to 21 during spring break.

Camp Carnival is the onboard program for children. Minimum age for Camp Carnival is 2. Camp Carnival is FREE. Onboard baby sitters are available for an additional charge. HOWEVER.. the minimum age for any child to sail at all is 4 months.
