Both FALLNANGEL, EVILSMILES & I have been involved with the website www.darkorbit.com for quite some time, essentially it being a most entertaining and lively space adventure shared in real time with many others, where a user will begin with the smallest vessel and work toward gaining the equipment and a much larger ship, participating either alone, within Clan or as part of Corporation in hunting aliens, warring with other corporations and engaging in Quests, besides much more.
However, EVILSMILES & FALLNANGEL plus I have each discovered that this site, www.darkorbit.com is mainly used by Straights and Soccer Hooligan types, whom we have have found to be unfriendly toward gothic, alternative people such as ourselves, but fortunately there is a solution for a happy experience.
Our 2 FIRST LADY's (see profiles for XONYXCRUISERX & LOSTXSOUL) have formed their own Clans, OBSIDIAN~13~ and ECLIPSE , within the VENUS CORPORATION, which specifically will ONLY take in members of gothic/alternative kind.
We could help anyone enjoy a fantastic space adventure there, also we could help with giving credits for equipment and ships etc, train and advise, but above all else provide a Clan which is both welcoming and non-judgemental as seen on much of the site exhibited toward people not of the Straight variety.
Please feel free to message any of us on this one, we are Seniors in the Coven Of Nocturnal Felinity, and have thus created a 'gothic home from home' on www.darkorbit.com in the VENUS CORPORATION!

DANCE OF DEATH: USA vs UK & ASPECTS OF ONLINE LEADERSHIP
In the eventful, pacy and at times pitiless space adventure that is www.darkorbit.com, this online game has many servers, to cater for players experiencing real time action together from all over the world, 1000's online at any given time.
I am fortunate enough to sample both the USA & UK servers and, after a period of observation, am able to compare the two servers, I being a member of 2 Clans, one on each server, headed by the joint FIRST LADY's of NOCTURNAL FELINITY, FALLNANGEL & EVILSMILES.
Not only do these Fine Ladies run their respective clans with confidence and spirit, but, even though they may have each more to learn on www.darkorbit, they know more than enough to undertake their roles with grit, determination and above all else intelligence. What FIRST LADY's EVILSMILES & FALLNANGEL learn as Clan Leaders on this other site, after being 'blooded' there they can indeed bring 'extra' back to www.vampirerave.com, additional steel and wherewithal which will give them the necessary edge in all matters of online Leadership. They can already run their online Teams with their eyes closed and their hands tied behind their backs. Very Few can even begin to come close to EVILSMILES & FALLNANGEL, that is for certain, from what I have seen, shared and experienced.
On the one hand, setting up a Clan on www.darkorbit.com is a very easy matter, as compared to how setting up a coven on www.vampirerave.com may be, as we know, those of us who have formed and now run Covens, are fully aware of the hard work and creativity which has initially gone into it, www.darkorbit.com Clans almost the 'junior' version, but still, any Clan Leaders on www.darkorbit.com have much in the ways of responsibilities for their members and for Clan direction.
My own impressions of the 2 servers I am a part of alongside my FIRST LADY's is this:
UK SERVER (www.darkorbit.com): 5% decent and honourable people, but sadly an environment afflicted by the usual English 'one-upmanship' and 'pecking orders' which serve only the loudest mouths and their bag carriers and herd-like followers who to keep in favor with the self-appointed Kings & Queens of the Rubbish Tip, will roll over and have their tummies tickled for even a little piece of what being part of the 'crowd' may mean for them. On UK SERVER people of Alternative or Gothic kind once identified, are NOT liked, as most there are either straights or soccer hooligan types, as evinced by the chatbox exchanges there. If you are one of These, you are fine, depending upon what level you are placed upon, in the pecking order. The UK SERVER can be malicious and unfriendly, and the best advice for any Gothic/Alternative person is to either link with those of similar kind, or form your own Clan, likewise populated by Those of similar kind.
USA SERVER (www.darkorbit.com): As an Englishman, the USA server I have found to be wonderful, apart from the usual small number of malcontents and troublemakers, which are everywhere to some degree, as they are on VR. In general, the Americans are far more supportive to the smaller players, the ones making their hard ways to gain bigger and better ships and higher grade equipment. The Americans truly show loyalty to one another to a very real degree, apart from pockets of in-fighting amongst Clans within the same Corporations, which happens again, everywhere on www.darkorbit.com, but I have seen on the USA SERVER acts of kindness and decency NOT seen on the UK SERVER.
To Experience is to form an opinion, and mine may not echo that of Others, but these are my findings.
