(the last thread was cycled off).

I still have not heard from Ronan. He was supposed to have emailed me on Friday. I re-emailed him on Friday.. and again on Saturday. No Response.

There has been no email as promised.. and no phone call. I am ceasing contact attempts and following my attorneys advice. He is still going after the missing CD's for us. But be prepared.. its going to take awhile since Ronan is a citizen of Europe. (Germany I think).

Please know I did try to at least talk to him about DJ'ing this years cruise.. however I simply have passed the deadline with the cruise line - which was April 1st. Ronan had been notified via email and voice mails to his booking agent of the deadlines.

People, I had called (and emailed) his booking agent in New York so much Jan through March, that at the end of march, i was told not to call back. I was told by the agents assistant that all of my emails and messages were passed on to Ronan, and a few of them he CC'd me on.

Fact is. Ronan ignored them - and I have a cruise to run.

I will continue to keep everyone posted about the missing CD's though. My attorney advise me its going to take quite some time since we are dealing with international courts.

yea it is a shame it would have be a great CD to add to my collection at the house.

VNV Still has not produced the CD.

However, they have managed to work a new CD for the general public.

I can promise you I wont be purchasing it.

I guess i could second that as well because of the fact the cs is taking so damn long to be released to the general public.

So when is the "fish or cut bait" moment? Is there some type of refund? Do we get a cd? Can we blame it all on Fannie & Mae? Inquiring minds want to know.

I seriously dont have an answer. Its going to take awhile for this to go through the courts.

VNV is already doing a new Cd.. which really just ticks me off.

As a note. Vnv was already paid for those CD's everyone was supposed to get.

that is really messed uo that something like this could have happened I just hope people will be more careful in terms of any deals that are made with people every again period.

::blinks:: okay so they paid for the CD's and then just wrote them off? Granted i understand the cost could probably be summed up as a normal loss.. but it just doesnt make much sense.

So, is this over now? No CD? Is there some kind of compensation if we don't get a CD?

I just want to know. I think most of us have better things to do than talk about this.

I dont know yet. It's been turned over to an attorney. All I can do is keep everyone updated as I get the updates myself.

Hmm, well, over a year. I'm guessing we won't get it. I don't really think a bi-monthly update satisfies our curiosity. I think by this point, we would've all been refunded, if nothing else. There is a dollar amount that can be attributed to the cd. I guess whatever that amount may be is worth more than they expect in word of mouth.

I'd settle for an acknowledgement and an appology at this point, but since neither has been presented, the approach Z is taking is the appropriate one.
