Is to be without hatred

Without loathing in my heart

My soul, my life

There is no drama

Yet there is no love

To Be Me...

Is to consider others

As well as myself

Yet block my spirit

From harm, from hurt.

To be strong and protective

Yet sweet and loving

Some have been quick

To point out my faults

Yet slow to admit my positives

And I know I have both

I'm only human

I deserve both love and respect

When it's given,

And not forced

When it's natural, it's deserved
