When I spread my wings to fly
Why is it that I cry
Is it my lost mortality
Knowing one will die
Or is it that it is I that want to die
Seeing all the beauty over years
sharing it with none out of fear
We are the ones heard of not seen
We are the hunters of your dreams
Are we real or just a dream
Until my teeth sink in you skin and you scream
Or is it that I just chase you for the same means
All that matters we are few and they are many
They are our cattle and we eat merrily and absorb they're memory
Why is it that we don't find that many of we the few
And when we do they all way's with drew into the dark
In groups we would be many and not alone
But all the others fear the masses
Because then they may be set in to casts
Solitary as we are
To be remembered is that to far
To have a lover we can trust rather than casting them to dust
I do love and need to endure Grant me this and you receive eternal trust
But for you my love is that enough
When a man stands on the edge of the abyss and sees nothing, this is the time when a choice needs to be made. He can choose to jump into the Abyss and be lost and forgotten. Or he can face the emptiness, have it stare back at him and there see his metal. He can see that he is tempered by fire. That each encounter with the Abyss leaves him a stronger man. Forcing the flames to burn hotter and higher with each encounter. But what happens to the man who is no longer afraid of or tempered by the Abyss. What can be said of him? Is he now immune to the growth or is it just false bravado caused by the intensity and fear of the great expanse. The old gods created the Abyss who are we to question it. It is for us to face and see our metal. Either we choose to enter or to grow.
What is your decision?

If we fear, we are never truly free and it is rising to challenges that we will gain strength but I think the secret is never to look ahead until we can accept what is in front of us.
hm...very interesting...
I think my abyss is unhealthy desire. It's always calling. I hav'nt given in for years, but that don't mean i'm gonna be dancin anywhere close to the edge.
