What are we but mere illusions
We go through life in nothing but disillusion
We scurry to and fro
We say yes sir and no Mame
When in fact we're all dammed
We live in fear and and cry dry tears
We clutch for those we need
Some for us to feed others to just to bleed
Then these the age old question of love
What is it, where dose it come from why and there's the rub
Why is there a price attached cost us blood
once the bleed starts there's no real patch
Then as the sun rises all fades away
Love at bay
All others say that it was all nay a dream forgotten
To them that can be true
For us we wait for our begotten
Our hearts pound for we the forgotten
Our hearts empty and yearning
We the lone and lost and turned away
We wait eagerly for our day and night to stay
Love to all we the kindred
for our love is not bewildered
We wait longingly for our mate
Only the makers choose the rate.
What is love
where does it come from
when does it start
why does it hurt our heart
Why must love cause pain
why does it have to fit into a frame
why is the always someone to blame
why does our hearts end in flames
Why don't we get to choose
and when we do we usually lose
we let in a stranger
knowing the danger
yet we continue to play the game
When it end who do we blame
it was you
no it was you
then friends and family enter the frame
we never asked for their oppinion
we never asked for your advice
let us live and let us choose
Mind your business
stay out of our way
maybe then they'll stay
