Training the puppy is so damned hard. I mean, I'm at work all day long so I rely upon my unemployed husband. What does he do? Sits his ass on the frenching computer all damned day playing stupid World of Warcraft.
I mean, the house is trashed. I work two jobs. Granted, one is only part time but it still makes it 7 days a freaking week. Why do I have to either run through the drive-thru (when he KNOWS we're broke as hell and refuses to order off the damned dollar menu) or make supper myself because he has a stinking raid.
If I want laundry done (not just done right, but done at all) then I have to do it myself. If I want the dishwasher run, I have to do it myself. If I want the garbage emptied, I do it myself. There's cat puke on the kitchen floor - I noticed it yesterday but wanted to see if he'd clean it. Is it clean? No. Guess I'll do it myself. The cat box is FULL. Asked him to empty it yesterday. Guess I'll have to do it myself.
At one point do you tell someone that love just isn't enough? If you aren't going to do the housework then get a job or get out? It's now been 18 months since he was employed. He doesn't even PRETEND to look for a job anymore even though he at least used to pretend.
The stress is wreaking havoc on me.
I want to write, I really do. Like someone else said recently, I have a million ideas floating through my mind at any given time. Getting them on paper (literally or figuratively) is much harder. I want to write vampire fiction, especially. But is it played out? On one of my posting boards, I read about how vampire fiction has changed – and not everyone approves.
Ugh, I just don't know what to do. I think I'll spend this evening writing out some ideas. You know; listing, clustering…just your basic brainstorming. What ideas do I have and how can I make them stand out from the millions of other writers out there?
On a side note, who doesn't love Boomhower?
