and very little true romances

ive loved,ive lost, and i feel pain

life without love has made me insane

im not the perfect guy with looks and charm

but when your with me i can promise you safety from harm

its hard to find the words to tell you what i feel inside

but if you saw my pain it would seem like i had died

im doing my best to show you the real me

the person i truly am that no one else can see

you are the inspiration that causes me to write

and in my eternal darkness you are the guiding light

i must accept what will never be

but im glad to have shared with you all that i see

no one stays broken for long

one day your heart will heal and you find the love you searched for all long

theres much more id like to tell you just know i really care

and no matter what the future may bring i will always be there

a crimson rose in a glass

reminds me of a love from long past

in time we have to learn to move on

or we will be stuck singing the same old song

its time for a new song to set us free

its time for us to be happy so we can finally breath

a new love can be twice as strong as the old

no one can tell what the future may hold

when you love its ok to be afraid

when you have true love you will see the price you have paid

just because you feel dead inside

doesnt mean theres not someone who will make you feel alive

Days come and go and you feel like your alone

then someone comes along and makes you feel at home

then you find out that they are broken too

and it feels like in a strange way they were meant for

together you can fight the rain and eventaully take away the pain

sometimes people come into your life for no reason at all and later on you realize without them you would fall

sometimes you are afraid to tell them how you feel

but if you dont say a word how do you know its real

those that are afraid to love have been hurt before

but the thing about a new love its different from before

to take a chance is to feel like you can fly

and hope is the pulling force that makes you want to try

this is a poem i wrote just for you

once you read my words your hear will know its true
