1. The Sith believe in the Living Force; save for unlike our Jedi brothers and sisters we do not abide the separation of Light and Dark Sides, rather we see the whole.
We understand the so called Light Side, but do not fear the Dark. A True Sith knows that the division of the whole is only to aide in the understanding of those who fear their inner natures. To see one side without the other is to cease to be whole, and one will never know oneself.
2. Sith fear not the Dark Side, but do not allow it to control us.
A Sith Lord does not merely fall to the Dark Side, rather we embrace it. To fall is to surrender oneself, the Path of the Sith is in discipline and self-control.
3. Sith Lords wield the Force, we are not mere servants unto it.
We are not passengers on the journey of life! Rather we are masters and commanders. It is our imperative that we are aware of the potential around us in the Force, and then ACT on it to seize what should be. If one is true to the whole of the Force and oneself our judgments will always stand true.
4. Some of us are stronger in the Force than others
Some are forged in this world with a deeper perception to the Force than others, but this does not necessarily mean that these Sith are stronger; If we are true to ourselves then strength lies in fulfilling our own full potential. The measure of a man is what he does with what he has.
5. We must live in the present, but have one foot in the past and an eye on the future.
What is the present but the culmination of what has already passed? So too is the future the sum of what we have done, and what we do now. We must ever be mindful of cause and effect, and be aware of the results of our actions. It is only is seeing the past, the present, and the future that may come that we can attain our goals.
6. Sith Lords feel the Force around them.
We must feel surrounding us the ebb and flow of cause and effect, it is this perception that allows us to be one step ahead of the curve. In sensing the Force we may gain insight to what may be, and cause change upon it if need be or desired.
7. Meditation increases our understanding and our resolve.
Before our actions can be true we must seek and understanding of ourselves and our relation to the tidings around us. We must clear our minds of the distractions present in our daily lives, so that only truth and resolve issue forth from within us.
8. As Sith we must trust our feelings and intuition.
But first we must be able to do so. If to thine own self you are true, you will not fall to folly or error. Brutal self-honesty is the core of the Path of the Sith.
9. We Sith must be mindful and aware of our thoughts.
Our thoughts will betray us if we allow them to. Self-control is imperative to us, never forget: We do not fall, but rather embrace the Dark Side; and we should too be mindful of the Light. By embracing the whole of the Force we may achieve a modicum of truth; in finding this truth our hearts can be marshaled and our thoughts controlled. In being true to ourselves we can never betray ourselves.
10. Sith must have resolve, which stems from patience.
We must not act from anger in its raw form, but rather use our anger as a fuel for resolve. Anger must be filtered through our intellect; we must not let ourselves be blinded.
11. We must use our strength to defend those we love.
So too we should defend the weak as a good shepherd defends his flock. There is nothing wrong with helping those who are helpless; but caution should be used against those who would merely take advantage of our kindness. In the aide of others our kindness should never be a weakness.
12. We must never fear our emotions, our aggressions, anger or hate.
Nor although should we let these things controls us, we must filter our emotions through our true will and use resolve and reason in any action.
13. We Sith strive always to be physically fit.
Our bodies should reflect our inner strength. We must work each day to increase our physical prowess, mental and physical strength are hand in hand.
14. The Lightsaber is the chosen symbol, sport, and weapon of the Sith Lord.
As a symbol the Lightsaber’s glow reflects the inner strength of the Sith that wields it. Dueling helps to increase our reflexes, and coordination. In this art we should always strive to be better than we are; so too this in true in all things. Our sabers should be extensions of ourselves, we wield them with the fluidity of poetry in motion and we shall see in ourselves and increase in skill and ability; in discipline agility.
15. Sith believe in destiny, yet we know that our destiny is a direct result of our choices and actions.
We are solely responsible for the outcome of all things in our lives. We are not but passengers; rather we forge the path to our destinies. Our destiny is found amidst a myriad of paths that we create, we must be wise and walk the true path.
16. The Sith must be grounded in reality.
Even as it is our quest to contemplate our true selves and our relation to the cosmos, and strive to gain strength in the Force we must not neglect the mundane. We should strive always to be productive members of society, and work hard to excel at our jobs and means of living.
17. Sith believe in life after death.
We know that once created energy can never be destroyed, only changed. The spark that is the soul upon death returns to the Force, perhaps it will again wash up on these shores, perhaps on different shores or not at all. Regardless we know that true immortality is found in etching ourselves into the sinews of the minds around us, therefore we strive to make ourselves legends never to be forgotten; the tales of our lives should be retold for generations. Nothing is gone that is not forgotten.
18. Sith Lords do not but use the Force, we command it. We do so to ever increase our strength and knowledge.
The stronger we are in the Force, the better suited we are to attain our goals.
19. Compassion is not a weakness inherently, but without discretion it can become as such.
We Sith are creatures of our passions, there is nothing wrong or weak in giving one’s love and care to another, so long as our love or energies are well spent on those truly deserving. We must never waste time with fools, or those who would seek our undoing.
20. Sith believe in Justice.
We must be willing to break the peace, and too know the time to break the peace in order to attain it.
21. Sith believe that if we first strengthen ourselves we are better suited to lend our strength where there is need.
All students of the Force, be they Jedi or Sith are servants to life. To effectively bring the fight to our foes we must ourselves be stronger than the opposition. Only if we have the strength and willpower within us can we do any good in the world at large. Serve first the self, and the rest of life will flow naturally thereafter.
22. Sith are dedicated beyond all else to our personal mission in life, and our Path.
The Path of the Sith is a means by which to discern our personal mission in life. Once we find our mission, we must hold to it steadfast and without falter. To deny one’s path or one’s mission is to deny the self and is only a road to failure.
23. The Force is always with us.
And we must be always mindful of its influence. Being a student of the Force, and especially being a Lord of the Sith we cannot afford to fail to see where the winds blow. The Force affects all things, and we must strive to train to be aware at all times. Being Sith is not something that we do….it is what we are.
24. Sith believe that there are places on the Earth where the Force is stronger, we call these places Nexuses in the Force.
These are the sacred places of many people and cultures. Legends, lore, and strong emotions, as well as the natural flow of the Earth itself have made certain spots more conductive to the Force. These Nexus are but keys that unlock further potential in the gateways of our minds, when one of these places are discovered or known we should never fail to meditate at them and take proper advantage of what is revealed.
25. A Sith Lord is a keen observer and believer in the laws of cause and effect.
We know that from nothing comes nothing, but with effort and dedication we can attain our goals. The Sith must be aware that thoughts in a sense are things, and we must be mindful of what we forge in the Force. What we forge in our minds can become reality, for good or ill.
26. The battle cry of the Sith is freedom, and while we should support democracy we should too eschew politics and especially politicians.
Politicians are rarely to be trusted, for in their games they lie quite often in order to be re-elected. Politics is a cess pool of a game they play, that nearly always as a rule fail to serve the needs of the people they represent.
27. While mindful of the Whole of the Force, the Sith knows that his true power is in the Dark Side.
The power of the Dark Side of the Force is the ability to cut through lies and sanctimonious rubble that ties us down and binds us against what is right. Our anger and hate, our rage needs to be focused always against following the way of assumed pity upon those tidings that do not deserve as such. No lie should be allowed to be enthroned, no falsehood glorified to shield the weak of mind and spirit.
28. Sith Lords must be aware of disturbances in the Force.
The Force is within us, and thus we are connected to all things that the Force is too within; this is to say we are linked to all things. If we attune ourselves to feel the disturbance in the Force after disaster or loss of life, the better we will become at sensing the disturbance prior to the event; giving us the potential to avoid it.
29. We Sith must laugh, rejoice in life, and have a good sense of humor.
While our mission in life is serious, no one should take themselves so seriously as to fail to laugh at oneself. Humor is a weapon to combat sorrow, and we should not fail to use it when we can. There is strength in joy, therefore let us be joyous.
30. Sith train to reach oneness with self, understanding that this oneness is our tie to the Force.
Our will should be dedicated to becoming one with the will of the Force, not so that we are subject unto the will of the Force; but rather that we are the will. Only when we are one as such will our actions be true.
31. We Sith are a part of our Order, we know that our weakest link is the downfall of us all.
Therefore we strive to strengthen our brethren with the words of our truth, and we hold this dear. Even as we must be each in ourselves rare individuals we need always be mindful that we are one part of a bigger whole. We Sith share a heritage and lore, we have chosen our dogma and our aesthetics ….let us find strength in our unity; Glory to the Sith!
