The Alternate Nature part 1

Craving her was all he thought about each day he stared at her like some kind of stalker in a tree. She had long red hair, and blue eyes that looked like the clear blue sky which hung above his head. Her skinny figure enticed him. Every move she made he watched hoping not to be notice. She wore all black as always usually tripp pants and a tank top.

He on the other hand was just a chubby fat kid with no life in his eyes. He wore the usual colorful t-shirt always with a perfect collar, and a regular pair of blue jeans.

She was a high school student, and he just an eighth grader with no friends and acne problems. His self esteem was zero, and she could care less of what people thought of her. He loved to see if she had any new piercings and loved her snake bites it made him quiver with excitement just imagining them rubbing against his chin as he kissed her.

His name was Even and hers Ember.

"What the hell is up with me," He said looking down at his feet.

He sat on the bench, and the wave of depression hit him like a sack of bricks. The grounds on the school yard started spinning. He would get this way sometimes. He felt a hand on his shoulder, and it was her. She looked worried, and he smelt blood. He had just now noticed a pencil shoved through his hand. He had squeezed it too hard trying to control himself. Every time this spinning happened he craved something. He didn't feel the pain his parents had found him with amnesia in a hospital, and this seemed to happen quite frequently through the day.

"Are you ok," She asked.

He didn't think she gave a damn about anyone much less him.

"I'm fine," He said pulling the pencil out slowly.

The pain quenched the craving, and it seemed he had to do something like this everyday.

"Damn, you have to be kidding me any other kid would have screamed," She said.

His dark grey eyes looked at her, and he didn't really observe the other children. He chuckled a little at her, and he was shy for a brief moment as he paused.

He was an albino child his hair a sleek white and his skin pale. Most thought he was mute, but he could speak clearly and without hesitation if necessary.

"Huh, enjoy it then," She said with a snarl like a growl.

He laughed at her snarl it didn't seem to fit her face to him. It looked at if she had had smelled something horrible.

"What," She stammered.

"Nothing," He said hearing the bell ring.

School seemed to go by quickly as he went to each of his classes.

They lived in a small town, and both high school and middle school were just in two separate hallways. He walked out the school doors walking to go to the street to walk home when Ember appeared beside him with her boyfriend Jimmy. He was a tall muscular guy with brown eyes. He observed people quickly. He wore a black leather jacket, and black jeans with black boots.

"Hey, where you going kid," Jimmy said looking at him as wrapped his arm around Ember's shoulder as they walked.

"Home," he said and the world started spinning again.

He pulled out his pocket knife stopping on the side walk to roll up his sleeve as his breath started to strain. He cut slowly against his scarred armed still with fresh wounds. When it stopped the two who had walked beside him just stared. He put the knife up sticking it in his pocket.

He wrapped his arm with gauze in his other pocket. He pulled his sleeve back in position, and sighed wondering how he was going to explain the gaping hole in his hand to his parents.

"What the hell," Jimmy said.

"Do you enjoy that," Ember asked with a smile that kind of gave him weird vibes.

"It just stops...," He didn't want to answer afraid of being judged automatically.

"It's ok you can tell me," Ember said smiling friendly.

"It's stops the world from spinning," He said looking to the side waiting for her judgment as they all walked.

"Well, that's a first," Jimmy said not like blades from past experiences.

Ember just simply smiled as they took a right turn toward a parking lot full of people talking.

He sighed as he walked home wondering what tommarow would bring....

The Damned: Meeting

05:04 Aug 07 2009
Times Read: 554

Weatherly his gray hair flowing behind him as he entered the castle one foot in front of the other. Once being the head vampire of the committee he had earned a lot of respect, but he was no longer in their good graces. Killing other members just for a single insignificant child was an outrageous crime. As he passed through the halls seeing nothing, but hateful glares he entered the main chamber.

One single vampire sat in the center of the room. He was old and could no longer stand. He wore the same single white robe every day and gave judgments. Although, he was weak and old he was still the main vampire, and as the oldest he had earned the greatest respect.

"My dear boy what have you done this time," The old man said his grey eyes sparkling with happiness to see him.

"Mr. Leonightus," Weatherly greeted him with a smile.

He was none other than Leonightus senior father of Weatherly's creator as they called the one who changed you.

"You have killed my son, but he did deserve his punishment. His final days he had changed, and became no more than a mere fool. He put all his past morals into you, and then betrayed them by acting like you when you were no more than a newblood," The old man said with a sigh of regret.

"Yes, the mentor always dies before his students," Weatherly said.

"Timothy my child God shows his good graces upon you. I can never seem to stay mad at you not even for a full minute," Leonightus Sr. said with a cough.

"You look to be doing well or better than usual," He said with his usual cheery grin toward the old man.

"I can't pass a judgment on you. You remind me of my son, and you have the same sadness he had in his eyes. You have the same philosophy on life as he. He told me once he saw at how bitter you were towards humans, but still in the end you decide to save them. Only killing them if they did horrible things against nature or if you were dieing from starvation. He told me your whole vampire life story, and how you killed the ones you loved. The guilt still harms your heart like daggers stuck deep with in them. If someone was to look in your eyes they would see the future of this world, and the past of your life. You keep the others around you straight as an arrow while yourself suffers from not helping yourself. It is a trait you inherited from my boy, and that is why you and your clan are free to be. Before I die I will summon you, and you know this and I will show you how to save the future of this world once more, but in the meantime don't worry about the committee they took no offense to you. I can't say the same about other vampires, but they can't do anything if we say they can't. Now go, and be free," The old man said swaying his hand for him to leave with a bright smile.

"I will be here when the time comes, and when it does come it will be one more thing for my heart to bear," Weatherly said smiling a little a tear rolling down his face as he left the old man hoping the day would never come.

The old man reminded him of an old man he once knew in his past life, and the thing was they could be brothers if he wasn't mistaken.

Emo waited for him seeing his face so distraught.

"What happened," She asked taking his faces in her hands.

"Nothing, but Christy, you, and I know what is to come in the future. For we have earned the power of sight. Only few will survive the next encounter for our final battle," Weatherly said looking at Green, Burhie, and thinking of Christy the frustration.

He thought why do I have to be the one to deal this burden and this guilt. Cassie saw his face as he feel to his knees trying to stay in control. So many different emotions passed through like a wave of hellfire searing his soul. This is why he truly called this clan of vampires.....

The Club of the Damned...

Dawn and Day

12:34 Aug 04 2009
Times Read: 559

Dawn approached as the time clicked slowly by. Central Park it was quiet and mysterious lovers walking the trails holding hands skipping along merrily.

The moon was full, and the it was an autumn day leaves scattered among the grass, and birds still twittering among themselves as the crickets chirped.

In the shadows was a prowler watching. He used to wait her for a woman jogging. He sneered with yellow teeth, and his eyes a dark brown seen as black to most. He ran his dirty fingers through his greasy bangs.

His clothes ripped, and torn being homeless didn't meant lonely nights and rummaging through garbage cans for a meal to fill his empty stomach.

He had swept all his emotions to the side, and didn't mind being a thief.

He saw an old woman appear walking slowly an illusive light illuminating on her body. It didn't strike him as odd just thinking it was the moonlight. He never imagined seeing an old lady on her own. She looked his way, and he stopped looking at her.

She spoke, "Awaken Day for Dawn is near."

Her voice was quite raspy and he was baffled at the words she had spoken.

He thought to himself, "Maybe I should just leave her alone. She seems to have Alzheimer disease."

She pulled for a sword the handle made of a cane handle. Light enveloped it shining yellow and orange mixed.

"What the fuck," his brain rambled around with the thought.

"Who is there that holds dawn the blade of injustice and hate," The woman said.

He decided to sit down and wait till she went away hopefully. He was in the middle of some bushes, and spotted a body of an old man. He shrugged used to seeing dead bodies on the streets it was New York people died all the time. He spotted something a cane made of marble, and it looked to be priceless. He shrugged once more grabbing the handle of the cane inspecting it.

There was button on the handle, and he pressed it. As if the cane was a switch blade a long blade slung from the side to the end of it. The blade illuminated with black flames heat searing his skin from the immense amount of radiation.

The bushes around him began to die.

"Who dares challenge Day the blade of life and redemption," The old woman sputtered.

He remained mute wondering what to do. He wouldn't kill anyone he wasn't that evil. After the twin towers were destroyed he had lost his wife, and the income that had supported all of their bills. He didn't lie he did just lay around the house and did nothing when she was alive. He had no work experience and it didn't help much to be as dumb as a sack of nails.

"What do you want," He replied finally.

"Why do you hold Dawn," She asked as he walked from the bushes.

He pressed the button making the blade swing back into the form of just a regular cane.

"I just found it on a dead guys body over there. You had me confused at what you wanted," He said.

"Ah, so you not know of the evil you possess," The woman asked raising an eyebrow.

"I might have done some wrong in life, but I wouldn't ever kill for personal gain. If you want the sword you can have it. I have no need for anymore trouble," He said speaking his mind.

"Maybe you are just the man I am looking for," She said rubbing her chin with two fingers.

"What," He stammered with confusion.

"Dawn doesn't have to be evil. Both swords can be either way usually evil is sought from Dawn and Day is used for good. Looks like it has chosen its new owner maybe it can be good this century. The users of the swords of each generation chooses which is good and which is evil," She said.

"I'm...," He didn't really know what to say.

"Finally this old woman gets to die and pass on the sword to a new master to wield it," The woman said looking at the moon her eyes filled with relief.

He gave up on trying to understand as the woman began to walk passing by him like nothing.

"Come with me there are things you need to know," The woman said turning her head to look back at him.

He shrugged rolling his eyes and shaking his heads as he followed to where ever this would take him.

The Damned

11:27 Aug 03 2009
Times Read: 561

Weatherly stood looking out to the highway from a building listening to the passing voices of strangers. He stood silent the death of Aiden had struck him harder than he thought it would.

Gabby and Emo cried constantly it had been that way for the past three days, and with no end. He figured they held on to emotions too long. Emo hadn't even been this upset when Green was thought to be killed. Even Scott didn't earn the sympathy they showed him, and he had thought Emo had loved him more.

Cassie appeared behind him trying to get away from the constant whining and wailing.

Weatherly just sighed as she took a spot to stand beside enjoying the piece and quiet.

Green appeared before them next pacing back and forth rubbing his temples.

Weatherly was growing more and more with anxiety to quieten the girls for good as their annoyance grew on him.

He vanished into the building walking into Emo's room. She was sobbing not even noticing him walk in. He had finally decided he had had enough.

"Shut the fuck up," He screamed pulling at his hair.

She stopped looking up at him with red eyes.

"You're driving us to our breaking points. I don't even cry this much, and I've lost everything do you see me crying every single day. Sure they're are times my thoughts break me down, but I don't do it every single day. Shit get a life we have other things to worry about like the committee all of them aren't dead. They will still hunt Gabby, and Christy's boyfriend. We don't have the time or the patience to sit here and watch you two weep and whine twenty-four/seven," Weatherly exclaimed.

Gabby walked in the room, and wrapped her arm around Emo. They knew he was right, and that they needed to go and find the committee.

Weatherly thought of Aiden as meaningless fool at first, but he knew they truly needed him. He was tired of reassuring the others, and keeping them straight when he couldn't keep himself straight.

"Fuck it do what you want I'm tired and hungry. I can't worry about you two forever," Weatherly said as Cassie entered the room.

She caught him as he passed out.

"What the hell," Emo said.

"He's ok just no rest, and he hasn't eaten in a good while. He was very worried hasn't spoken until now in three days. He needs blood his veins are turning brown from no blood being in them, and plus with no rest its making it worse. Go to a hospital Green and get an iv and a bag of blood," Cassie said as she shook her toward the two on the bed.

Emo and Gabby looked at each other and guilt was planted on their faces.
