A husk that that once forsaken....
You've returned that was taken.
You fill me with a feeling that I had forgotten...
You bring life to a heart once rotten.
Like an Angel from above...
Carried by the wings of a dove....
And powered by the strength of love...
Can a dead heart live again?
No longer silent in what was hollow....
A beat echoes through the shadows.
And from that sound in the dark....
The black is split with a spark.
Darkness recedes from the light...
And laughter fills the night....
And I smile, when you hold me tight.
Can a dead heart live again?
The sweet words that were spoken...
Healed a heart that was left broken
You'd never believe what I heard...
Too much to explain with only words....
No longer in a Hell...
Freed by your spell...
You picked me up from where I fell.
And this dead heart lives again!
