As you make your mark

And take your bite

You'll leave me under the stars tonight

Blood dripping down the marks on my neck

You hardly leave me with any life left

As my vision fades

I hardly feel you grab me

Your eyes say sorry

But your grip says not

Tears going from your eyes

You say the words that mean goodbye

And as I leave this deadly world tonight

I play the words you said with might
