Left alone in the dark

amongst the shadows of pain

bound by chains pulled strong and firm



Your love dangles soft ribbons

to gently caress my spirit

these chains pull tighter

squeezing precious tears from my soul



Glancing above at your silky embrace

I see the golden keys that will unchain my

body, mind, and soul



Slowly reach towards you

touching your ribbonly softness

but your golden light is just

beyond my grasp

grazing my fingertips.
