I wander out into the open field. I see him, standing there, waiting for me. He sees me and opens his arms in a warm embrace. "This is it" I think to myself. "This is the moment where I can finally run away with my charming Declan." I slowly walk up to him, scared he will sense my nervousness. But once I'm in his arms, I know I'm safe. I can hear his heart beating as he pushes my head against his chest. I suddenly feel a sharp pain in my neck. I realize he is feeding on my blood.
