Relax and become conscious of every part of your body. Feel your skin. relax and feel the photons of light hitting your skin, a rain of warmth over your entire body. Now start repeating to yourself. "Light pass through and around me, nobody will see me. Light pass through and around me ..." and as you chant (out loud or in your head) feel the rain of photons passing around and through you until you don't feel them any more. Bang! you are effectively hidden.

I have done this in class then raised my hand to answer questions and have the teacher look straight at me and say "You mean nobody will even try" and people looking for me look right past me. I will say that the invisibility is fairly fragile meaning that if you make yourself noticed people will notice. I assume that you could do a similar things for other objects. I have never actually tried it but I believe it would work

Energy Balls Exercise

Another exercise to try is to place your hands together gently intend to activate your personal chi or ask for spiritual energy and allow it to expand and build up moving your hands apart you can try this with Reiki but I learned these with chi. You can use a pumping motion to become aware of and build up your own energy. You can scoop in universal chi from your surroundings. you can run a shakti such as Reiki into the space or ball you create between your hands and use it as a carrier of healing in many different subtle touch systems many general spiritual healers use energy balls.

Place your energy ball down in front of you. Pass your hand across the area, including both the space where the ball is, and where it isn't. Do you feel a difference? Can you feel where the ball is? It may feel warmer, cooler, tingling, denser, etc. You could toss it at a person who agrees, or pet an animal with it and see if they can feel it. Some animals will definitely react to your ball of energy. The people can tell you if they felt anything. Have them close their eyes and see if they feel when it touches them. Close your eyes and try to feel it. Try making the ball snowball-sized or smaller. Manipulate the size and/or shape of your energy ball.

Experiment. Take an energy ball that you have made, and press the ball into your heart chakra. Press it into your 3rd eye. Press it against your skin, and see what you feel. There are other ways to work with energy balls. You can use it to begin distance sending or to smooth the aura at the end of treatments. you can comb the aura with one or use energy balls as the way to deliver the healing energy I had always thought of the energy ball and the sending, seeing, clearing balls as being different things I build the healing energy ball between my hands and can send it out to others with intention or place it by proxy in the remote healing procedure.

Other balls are visualized outside the body then filled with energy. They can be observed to "see" events or information as in divination and scrying or used to send an affirmation or to fill with a manifestation visualization . They can be sent out to retrieve lost energy of your own and they can be filled with your anger fears or with pain etc. Then charged with light /energy to dissolve and transform "negative" energy. Using your hands to build an energy ball will work just fine for these other purposes too. Energy balls can be a useful way to develop your awareness of energy.

Spell to Strengthen Your Psychic Shield

The night before the Full Moon, find a place where your altar will not be disturbed for 24 hours. Put the cauldron in the center with a red candle on the right side, black candle of the left side, and white candle in the back; but do not light them yet. Sprinkle a mixture of equal parts of elder blossoms, marjoram, mint and rue in an unbroken circle around the cauldron. Into a tiny vial, measure equal drops of clove, frankincense, jasmine, and lavender. Set the sealed bottle in the cauldron and leave until the night of the Full Moon.

On Full Moon night, take a cleansing bathe and robe yourself in white. Carry a good protective or purification incense through every room in the house. Make certain that the smoke drifts into closets.

Return to the altar and light the candles. Take up the dagger or sword. Face the East and raise the sword in salute. To salute in this manner, simply hold the sword point upward in front of you. Say:

Turn to the South, salute, say:

How to See Auras

First of all, what exactly is an aura? It's an electromagnetic field that surrounds all living things. They can be seen as well as felt, or sensed. Auras can reveal a persons emotional well being as well as physical state. There's no one method to seeing auras, the method given below is my personal way.

First there's the background. Some sources say that when reading an aura it's best to have a very dark black or red background, other's say to a white one. I've tried both and found that for me darker is much easier. Next, the aura is generally strongest around a person's head, but it you don't have another person to try this with, your own hand will work fine.

Pick a point just beyond your hand and let your eye unfocused (it's very similar to the way you view a 'magic eye' picture for those of you who know what that is). Eventually a thin white band will come into view. This is the first layer of the aura. Once you're able to view the white band, fix your gaze a little ways beyond it. Eventually a colored(s) band will come into view. Note, this stage is much harder to see, after a ton of practice I still can't see it every time. Each color has a meaning which is posted below.

Psychic Attack

When an attack takes place, the Psychic Vampire receives an energy surge while the victim experiences fatigue. People who "suck" the energy of others are called "psychic vampires." This "sucking" takes place when one's energy is depleted and needs to be replenished so he or she "sucks" the energy of another person. It is not unusual for a person who is ill or feeling inadequate emotionally to draw upon or deplete energized individuals of their life force. These "suckers" are not bad people, most of them are not aware on a conscious level that they are doing what they are doing. For those not skilled in magick and spells, you can lend strength and energy to those in need simply by lighting a green candle and doing the following: Picture a white ball of energy coming out of your chest (near the sternum or breastbone). At this point you may wish to say a few words or simply focus on the pain and suffering coming from the group you are focusing on (refugees, starving children, etc). You are offering this energy to any and all who need it, so try not to focus on any one person or face from the papers. From deep in your chest, *push* the ball. You will feel the muscles in your chest pushing and your shoulders drawn in toward the center of your torso. This will send the energy to the place and group you were thinking of.

Consecrate an Object

Light some incense, preferably myrrh or patchouli and a white candle. You will also need a bowl of water and one of salt. Take the item, cover it with salt, place your right hand over the bowl (unless your left handed, then use your left) and envision a white light leaving your palm and passing through the bowl, washing away all negative energies. Then say:

Blessed Lord and Lady, with salt and smoke I consecrate this tool in your name. Let it serve me well.

Remove the item from the salt, shaking off the salt as you do so, then pass it through the incense smoke, sprinkle it with water, then pass it through the candle flame. Your item is now consecrated.

Charging an Item

Hold the item above your head. Take a moment to feel the swirls of energy around you. You should be able to feel them tug at you like a current in a river.

Casting and Uncasting a Simple Circle

If you have one, set your altar in the center of a clean area. If not, simply sit/kneel/stand on the floor in the center of a cleared area.

Light one white candle. Envision a circle of white light around you (and your altar).

Note: This spell will only work if you actually study and TRY to do well (or if you happen to naturally be a genius like me (Heather). Do not expect the spell to get you good grades when you haven't even tried to learn the material!)

I did this before my Chemistry AP last year, and I got a 5 on it, so I believe it worked!



You will need:

1 Yellow candle

1 Green candle

1 piece of yellow ribbon, or yarn, or thread, or pipecleaner

1 piece of green ribbon, or yarn, or thread, or pipecleaner

1 piece of orange ribbon, or yarn, or thread, or pipecleaner

oil (such as cinnamon) made for luck, or success



If you cast a circle during spell work, you can do this now. I didn't at the time, due to it being pretty late at night and my mind was full of chemical equations. Light first the yellow candle, then the green. Make sure there's enough room to work between the two.



Ask whatever God/desses you wish to enter the circle with you (your patrons, the Lord and Lady, whatever you believe in). Take the three pieces of ribbon/yarn/thread/pipe cleaner (all long enough to make a bracelet for) and begin to braid them. The yellow, for intelligence and clarity; the green for luck; and the orange for success. As you braid them, you can imagine symbols of studying, intelligence and remembering being thread in as well. (For example, I thought of most of my polyatomic ions, a book, a brain...)



Ask the God/dess (es) to help you for your test, and help for your studying. Ask them to help you remember all you can, and to make studying easier (either by silence, which I needed in my house with three younger siblings participating in screaming contests, or by finding time in hectic schedules). I'm not going to put down what I said 1) because I'm one of those firm believers in putting a little of yourself into the spell, and 2) because I have no clue what I did say...it was something from my heart and spur of the moment.



Once you finish braiding, run a little of the oil over the place where you will tie it, and tie the bracelet (or anklet I suppose) around your wrist (ankle) and wear it when you study and during your test.

To help speed recovery from an illness, write the sick person's name on a white human shaped candle of the correct gender. As you anoint it with 3 drops of myrrh or mint oil, visualize healing energy in the form of white light flowing from your hands and into the candle. Recite:

Since the earliest spell bottles were created for protection, it seems fitting to begin with one made for this purpose. Ideally, such a bottle will be walled up in a new home under construction, or placed under the floorboards. If this is impossible, simply place it in a position of importance somewhere in the home.

Magick Mirror Beauty Spell (way different then the first)

You will need 1 small, handheld mirror, 3 candles, rose oil, patchouli incense and a little privacy.

Select one color for the strongest effect, or mix and match to get a bit of each:

Red if you are going for sex appeal

Silver if you want to be the center of attention and display star-quality charisma

Orange if you are going for general attractiveness and likeability.

On a night when the moon is full, find a secluded outdoor spot. Light your incense and your three candles. Disrobe and anoint the parts of your body you would like to change with the rose oil. For example, if you think your feet are too big, anoint the tops of each foot. If you are going for an all over make-over, then anoint your forehead, your breast bone, the center of your belly, each wrist and behind each knee. Pass the mirror through the smoke of the incense, then raise it over your head, reflective surface facing the moon.

Procedure: Take the small piece of paper and write your name on it. Draw on it what body or body part you want changed and what you want it to look like. The picture could show the entire body or just the part.



Now hold the paper in your hands and imagine the body/part changing from what it looks like now to what you want it to look like.



Then fold it up any way you like and tie it to the crystal. Then once more visualize the body part changing.



Put it away and every evening until the body is changed take it out and visualize it changing again.

Anoint the candle with the oil. Light the candle and the incense. Place the lemon juice, flaxseed oil, egg, maidenhair and ginseng in the mortar, and grind with the pestle until the potion is gooey.



When Venus hour approaches, recite the incantation over the potion. Incantation:

Work the potion into your hair until it is saturated. Place the plastic wrap over your hair and let it sit. Go outside and soak up the sun. Feel the potion tingling and revitalizing your hair. After a hour in the sun, shampoo and condition your hair, but before your final rinse of the conditioner thoroughly rinse your head in the rain water. Allow your hair to air dry naturally. You will see a improvement in your hair instantly.

Light the candle(s) and sit in front of it/them and chant this 3 or more times:
