Before I began posting my erotic fantasy stories and novels, I wanted to give a little background information about myself. First, let me start out by telling you the spill on how I became a writer of the darker fantasies.



I have been writing for as long as I have been able to put pen to paper, which is about 28 years now. I wrote my first complete novel at the age of 13. Writing is, to say the least, my secret passion. Over the years I have jotted down poems, stories, and ideas that have spawned a life of their own. Needless to say, with so many years of writing under my belt, I have collected quite a few rejection letters from traditional publishers. My main problem with publishers were their insistence that professional proofreaders and editors could not do their job unless they ripped my work apart and reassembled it into something that did not remotely resemble my original work. And since I prefer writing erotic fantasy, what few publishers were interested in the general storyline quickly lost interest when they realized that I would not budge on changing what I considered to be key elements to the story. So a few years ago I started researching self-publishing. In 2008 I self-published my first novel, Temptation, which was a collection of short erotic stories. Since then I have written numerous articles about self-publishing and mentored numerous budding authors, including my daughter. I am currently working on a trilogy of novels and 2 novelettes, one of which is a spin-off from the first book in the BEFORE THE SUN RISES series.



I got started writing erotic fantasy purely by accident. I always loved reading fantasy stories, but most of my written works were based in "real life" storylines without any fantasy elements. Five years ago I began writing in several on-line role playing forums and games. Since I had been writing for so many years and had read literally thousands of fantasy stories (vampires, werewolves, fairies, zombies, you name it), I had a natural knack at coming up with some very interesting biographies for my RP characters. I got so good at it that I was offered a chance to be part-owner in a RP group. The group entrusted me with coming up with all the rules and regulations that governed the little vampire world that our characters lived in.



I began posting snippets of my RP posts on my Yahoo! 360 page. Those posts got so much praise that I began putting my own spin on the storyline and tossed in some elements of erotica into the mix. The response was overwhelming. I soon had the maximum number of friends that my Yahoo! page would allow. I started a page on Myspace for the stories and continued to have dozens of friend requests each day so they could read my stories. Everyone kept encouraging me to get my work published. I had already spent more than ten years playing the mainstream publishing game and knew that I wanted no part of it. So with a lot of determination, trial and error, I self-published my first novel, Temptation.



I have spent the last 5 years working on the BEFORE THE SUN RISES trilogy of books and spin-off novelettes as well as other novellas. I am very particular about where my work is posted since I am actively publishing my work. To date, my work appears exclusively on my own website, one adult literature site, and one writing forum. I have created this blog in hopes to get more exposure for my stories and hopefully get the stories out to an audience who are actively looking for a darker, more erotic fantasy.
