Pain is something
It is something we can't live without
Pain is never going to be nothing
It is everywhere, it floats on a wing
No matter where it goes, do not doubt
Pain is something
With it's wing, like a broken bird, it will sing
Flying anywhere it goes, do not doubt
Pain is never going to be nothing
Strongly it soars, never falling
Forever it will stay, do not doubt
Pain is something
Pain goes along with suffering
Together they are, do not doubt
Pain is never going to be nothing
Pain seems to loom from above, laughing
Yelling at us ll, do not doubt
Pain is something
Pain is never going to be nothing
In the sky,
O' so high.
Your' eyes shine,
through endless time.
On a plane,
running from pain.
You wave goodbye to me,
I whisper "I love thee."
As you fly further away,
I watch as you take away the day.
The sky fades into dark,
I sit on a bench in the park.
Waiting for you to come back,
watching people pass by Power Shack.
Without a thought I start to walk,
without a thought i start to talk.
Saying things left unsaid,
So heartfelt; they leave me good as dead.
Good as gone is my heart,
to be sold at Wal-mart.
Leaving the world for endless sleep,
soon I will begin to weep.
Gone are you; back to your home,
to your' big house shaped like a dome.
With memories of swimming pools and swings,
"I want to be with you!" my heart sings.
I lay in the grass, O' so green.
The stars; I stare at with eyes so keen.
"Come back to me!" They seem to yell,
to whom, only they can tell.
"How could you leave me? Why? O' why?"
The stars seem to ask from the sky.
My soul floats away with your' love...
up, up, up so high...
reaching, reaching, for the sky...
As I stare at the scars on my wrist.
I remember all the things you missed.
How I used to cry all day.
And when thing got bad I ran away.
I ran to the only thing I knew,
A knife that was sharp; Instead of you.
The cuts ran deep,
they ran long,
each one singing a different song.
Songs of pain I will never forget.
Each one came without regret.
The Doctors said I needed locked away.
They were right but on that day,
You didn;t believe them and my world shattered.
They took me to the hospital; cut and tattered.
Left there to heal in a white room,
filled with meds to keep me rom the gloom.
Eventually they will set me free.
And on that day I will flee.
Only because the horrors will start again.
When you neglect me like you did back them.
Here I am,
Stuck in the Dark.
All alone,
Without a mark,
To tell me what is right.
Here I am,
With no one around,
To take my hand,
and pull me into the Light.
I am Lost.
Never to be found.
Swallowed by the Dark,
Engulfed by the Sorrow.
With all this pain,
I shall not live to see tomorrow.
So if you can hear me,
Listen to my cry,
Help me now,
Take me by the hand,
and free me from what I truely am.
