the power of comedy!

18:26 Jan 29 2010
Times Read: 624

On the way home from college grandpa and i were talking. he's kinda depressed because he knows he doesn't have too much longer to live. He's 75. He said we wanted to be burried with a phone and for dad and i to call him every few weeks. The car was quiet for a little while and then i turned to him and said, with a serious look "Alright but...that's gonna be one hell of a long distance charge" He burst out laughing and kept repeating that line every now and again on the way home. Instantly cheered him up! yay for the power of comedy! hahaha

beat mass effect 1...again......

06:35 Jan 29 2010
Times Read: 625

finally beat mass effect again. It was a long, annoying, headache filled process but i did it. Now i get to jump right into the second one so it's kinda like a movie. An insanely long fucking movie that makes your eyes burn after a while. But it's a good burn. as long as you don't go blind. hahaha

I hope, really, really hope they have more detailed areas to explore in the second one. Not that generic, 3 room facility on every single planet that's not story related.

They should take a lesson from oblivion and fallout there, every single place in those games are unique places where you never know quite what to expect. i'm not getting my hopes up but...um..i hope they fixed that. hahaha

Niow i get to see how my awesomeness changes the second game's storyline!!!

Mass Effect 2!

02:53 Jan 27 2010
Times Read: 634

re-writing this one since i'm on my laptop and not on the ps3. ps3 restricts how much i can write and i love to write, makes a good break from the monotony of mass effect 1. hahaha

So, yeah. I got mass effect 2 yesterday but stopped playing it just after the prologue was finished so i could go back and play through Mass effect 1...for like the 20th time. I did this because, about a year ago i deleted my main save to create an "ass hole" character to get all bad achievements and see how being an utter dick affects the story. So, I did absolutely everything bad that was possible. I killed Wrex, killed Kaiden, killed the council (which i normally do anyway because i hate them) and fucked up as many side quests as possible. And while that is all well and good, I forgot to re-do my main save with all the things i normally do. Which are basically: Save Wrex, let Ashley die instead of Kaiden (because she reminds me of this girl back in Delaware that i absolutely hated, hahaha) kill the council, appoint Anderson in charge of the new council and generally try to do what i would really do if i were realistically put into these situations.

So, the game carried over the ass hole character because that was the only save file from the first game. I even tried to just start fresh from the second but it still loaded that save, not sure why. So basically the storyline of the second game is flawed from the start. And while i don't mind seeing how the ass hole has to deal with everything, I'd like to have my first play through with the mass effect interpretation of "me" rather than some jack ass i made up. hahaha I've never been all that good at role playing. hahaha in all RPG games i make a model of myself, it's more fun that way.

Anyway, so now i gotta re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-play mass effect 1. While the game is incredibly awesome both with gameplay and storyline, my mind will force me to do every single solitary damn side quest there is before completing the game, which includes the long, tedious resource gathering side quests. The first time i did them i enjoyed it, the second and third time i did it i kept thinking "think of the exp from all this" and every time after that i would assume the fetal position and cry in a corner prior to going to each planet. hahaha Not really but you get the idea.

Thankfully having the difficulty on "insane" makes eah and every fight i get into an awesome one! Especially since i'm the infiltrator class which is only really good with pistols and sniper rifles and ALL the enemies seem to have shotguns. hahaha

It's all worth it though. I only played through the hour and a half long prologue of the second and i can tell it's an amazing game! Than and it's 2 discs! an xbox 360 game with 2 discs! Can you imagine how much shit is crammed on these things!!!! hahaha hopefully i'll beat the first one (again) by friday so i got all weekend to be immersed in the awesomeness of mass effect 2.

"All we wanna do is eat your brains

We're not unreasonable

I mean no one's gonna eat your eyes.

All we wanna do is eat your brains

We're at an impasse here

maybe we should compromise

If you open up the door....

we'll all come inside and eat your brains!"

I don't think i'll ever get the chorus out of my head. hahaha

My dad surprised me today.

I've been stuck on this english report i gotta do. I'm supposed to pick a movie, then pick a major issue in the movie and do research on it. The professor's thought process is of course that "everyone watches movies so this should be a simple project in regards to finding a topic." but of course I happen to be the anomaly here because I don't really watch movies aside from comedy and of course Silent Hill.

I brought this up to dad during dinner and you know what happened? He actually came up with an awesome idea! He suggested I do my report on "The Miracle". That movie where the us Olympic hockey team (sadly) beats the Russians. Thinking on that a little further I decided to do my report on underdog victories throughout history.

This might not sound like much but my dad has NEVER, EVER come up with a good idea about much of anything, it's not that he doesn't try, he does and puts out a good effort but he's a little behind the times, so ot speak. But this idea, it's perfect! Surprised the crap out of me when i was thinking about it. hahaha So, GO DAD! hahaha

Silent Hill shattered memories is suprisingly awesome!

20:02 Jan 21 2010
Times Read: 664

For all my friends who are on the fence about getting the silent hill shattered memories game - get it! it is awesome! Just gonna give a crap review-ish thing so i don't gotta describe it to you all individually, yes i am lazy. hahaha

I got and beat Silent Hill shattered memories yesterday. The game is about 7-8 hours long, which is the normal range for silent hill games but it was so damn good i had to beat it in one sitting. hahaha

Because of the "no fighting" aspect of the game the developers put a lot more work into the environments and the storyline so it felt more like a better silent hill movie than a game. It almost felt like the free-roam type of thing silent hill 2 did. Everything's linear but there's multiple ways to go to get from point A to B and there's a crap load of stuff to look at so i was entertained! More of an aesthetics person when it comes to silent hill anyway.

And thankfully the game came out for the ps2 so i didn't have to buy the piece o' shit Wii!!!

The game changes a little bit every time you play it too. Like people's clothing and passages. Like in the beginning there are two diners on one street. Sometimes the one on the left is unlocked and sometimes the one on the right. Both lead to the same storyline element but the method is slightly different.

One thing i found hilarious is this game's interpretation of Dahlia. She's goth! hahaha On the first game, 3rd game and the movie she's portrayed as this old, evil lady. But on this one they got her as a goth, punk rock type of girl who's actually kinda cute. hahaha I looked up her other two types of appearances and i gotta say that one fits her the best.

Now while the game doesn't have combat, it's got monsters. It's one thing to avoid monsters in games out of convince but it's a whole nothing thing to avoid them because you have to. hahaha Makes it scarier actually since you can't just kill them but they can kill you, kinda. There's no "game over" when you die, you just re-appear at the start of the nightmare area. Kinda lame but you get why at the end of the game and then it's ok. hahaha The chases are awesome though! In every section with monsters there's always multiple ways to get from point to point, meaning you can get lost with a horde of monsters after you and have to struggle to re-coordinate yourself before they kill you. Twice i found myself running around for 5 minuets only to wind up at the entrance and being tackled by a crap load of monsters. hahaha

They are faster than you too so you have to rely on stealth for as long as you can, it's not necessary but it helps. You can just run from point A to B but the chance you'll die goes up like 30%. When you do get seen by one, you get seen by all and every single damn monster in the area makes their way over to you. You gotta rely on sharp turns, creating obstructions to slow them down and hiding to slip past them. Also pressing the X button while climbing up a cliff, opening a door to throwing something to the ground speeds up the process which is nice. The chases are so freakin hectic though, especially since it's so dark and you don't know exactly where to go. You're just running through dark corridors and rooms, looking over your shoulder to see monsters right on your ass and thinking "oh shit, oh shit, oh shit!"

There are a lot of passive points in the game where you're roaming through the town which is awesome for me but i have a lot of patience and respect for that type of thing, those who like the action horror stuff like dead space might find those parts boring.

And my favorite part of the game is the psychological profiling it does. Throughout the game you're asked to do these tasks and answer questions that affect conversation in the game and ultimately the ending. If you answer everything truthful it'll work like, if you're an ass hole, you get the ending fitting for an ass hole, if your a pervert you get the ending fitting for a pervert, and if you're a nice, kind hearted person well *coughs* you get the ending associated with a kind hearted person. hahaha

It even described your personality at the end of the game and while it won't be 100% accurate (I am NOT lousy in bed damn it!) it gets close. hahaha

like all silent hill games the music's fitting to the surroundings and is awesome! Especially Devil's laughter, best chase song ever!

And the bets part is it's only gonna cost you around $30. That's half the cost of a ps3 or xbox game! So those of you who love silent hill for the atmosphere and the storyline you will freakin love this game! I'm gonna play it again when i'm finished with my college junk.

damn now i see where i get my paranoia from.

Ok, so, there's this crazy person that i'm no longer in contact with, at all. I've told everyone this. But for some odd reason my dad is suddenly paranoid and accusing me of talking to said crazy person even though i haven't. I was writing an English paper yesterday on the pc and he stood behind me and watched because he thought i was "sending secret messages to you know who". I will admit when he came into the room i scrolled the page down so he wouldn't see and i could see how that could cause suspicion. But the reason i did that was because whenever my dad sees something he doesn't like, even if it's the work of someone else, he'll change it. And i made referance to the drug use in the story i read in the paper about the story, which, although i hate drugs, was a key part of the story. And what did he do while he was standing behind me? Force me to remove that part from the paper or else i'd no longer be allowed on VR. And while that in itself isn't so bad that's the main way i keep in touch with Kristen so that's kinda a low fucking blow on his part. And while i could easily hide the site from him, it would get suspicious after a while when the internet history keeps getting deleted day after day. hahaha

THEN, i made the mistake of leaving my yahoo logged in while he was using the computer. So, every friend that talked to me or even signed in at the time either got interrogated by him or i got interrogated by him after he and them talked. Even the male friends while i just do not understand. And just because i give a simple answer doesn't mean it's a lie! "he's a friend from mafia wars" means that he's a friend from mafia wars, why is that os hard to understand?

I could understand if i acted suspicious about it but aside from the paper thing i haven't acted any differently than i normally do. Actually i've been a little happier than usual because i got ot spend some time with Kristen. I've given him no reason to be paranoid at all, it's just how his fucked up head works.

i did piss him off though which was funny. While he was watching me type my paper i said "could you go be a retard somewhere else?" Then he says "I don't appreciate you calling me a retard" to which i reply "then stop acting like one." hahaha

Then when he's accusing me of talking to this person he says "do you think i'm stupid" when i tell him i'm not in contact with them. So i reply with a "yes!". hahaha Probably not the smartest idea to antagonize the situation but stupid people piss me off and i just can't help myself. hahaha

Hissing syrup!

this was kinda funny. I was eating waffles this morning and all of a sudden i hear this whistling sound, kinda like that cartoon falling sound affect getting louder and louder and then quieter again. I stopped what i was doing and just kinda looked around the room thinking "o...k..." Then just before i was gonna take another bite it started up again. I finally realized it was coming from the syrup bottle which confused me more. So, i tap the bottle with my fork and the damn thing hisses at me. hahaha

I know it's because of the trapped air inside the bottle but i never had Mrs Butter-worth hiss at me before, the bitch. hahaha

Randomness!

19:58 Jan 19 2010
Times Read: 689

Well today was definitely interesting.

For some strange reason i had this painful, painful sharp pain in my chest when i went to drink a glass of milk this morning. Like the action of drinking it caused the pain. I played it off fine, just leaned against the counter while grandpa and dad were talking to me but damn it hurt!!! Kinda scared me but i'm not telling anyone just yet, if it happens again though i'm gonna let everyone at my house know.

Got yet another A in both psychology and English. I like As. They're flooding in too, it's like A, A, A, A, A....ect...it's nice to be smart. hahaha

This English assignment we had to turn in was kinda cool too. We had to read this short story called Happy Endings, which is basically a collection of scenarios where A is the perfect life and B-F have different things happen to alter that perfect life and fuck it all to hell. hahaha Then we had to write a variation of our own story thing....reason why i can't explain exactly what we had to do was because the assignment was open-ended. As long as we were on the right path we got full credit and the path is wide as hell! hahaha I did an original topic for mine too. Most everyone else did theirs on just a variation of the relationship in the Happy Endings story, putting the characters in a high school, or college setting instead. There were a few original ones like a rap scenario which i enjoyed listening to and this one guy's dream life. hahaha Mine was on military scenarios! Using that same relationship plot but in a military setting with all those messes of problems. hahaha I feel bad for the male character though/ I didn't realize it until i got done writing it but in 2 of the 4 outcomes he's dead, while in all 4 of the outcomes the female character finds love and lives happily ever after. hahaha I think i did good, jon congratulated me after class so that's a plus but there was this 10 second long awkward silence after i was done reading mine before the professor said anything. hahaha

Now I'm just sitting around killing time until Kristen wakes up. She's been so damn busy lately i have hardly got the chance to spend time with her. She NEEDS a cell phone. hahaha I'd buy her one if i had the money that's for damn sure. hahaha

I've been listening to silent hill music to pass the time, listening to the songs from the shattered memories game and i gotta say the song Hell Frozen Rain kicks major ass!!! The other songs with lyrics on that game were slow and depressing and while this one is still depressing, it's got an awesome sound! I also love the song Ice although it doesn't have lyrics. It does have a person laughing kinda evil in the background which is cool! The Japanese guy who composes these songs is a musical god! Can't even begin to spell the name off hand though. hahaha The silent hill songs need to be put in their own genre of music I swear.

I am obsessed with that town. hahaha not so much the plot with the town but the town itself. I'd love a place that's just empty. No people, just an empty, desolate town or city or country or something for me to explore. Monsters are ok but i don't like having to deal with noisy, annoying, stupid people. I love getting to explore the town in that game, just walking the empty streets, seeing all the buildings and cars and everything man made but with the notable absence of man. hahaha

Only person i'd want to be there with me is my Kristen, everyone else can go to hell. hahaha

I hate to be rude and presumptuous, but have you considered the possibility that your chest pain is caused by acid reflux?

It might sound trivial, but the acidic conditions in the stomach which allow you to digest your food, simply are not meant to be splashing up into your oesophagus. It burns, literally. Very very painful when suffering an acute case.

Stress can cause acid reflux, or certain foods.

Sim City 2000

08:21 Jan 17 2010
Times Read: 699

I got around to downloading Sim City 2000 on the ps3. I remember it being a lot of fun and i had $5 to throw around so i figured what the hell. hahaha While i was right about it being fun, i seemed to have forgotten how sadistically evil it is at the same time.

The game's AI is hell bent on destroying your city before you can even get it off the ground. hahaha And there are no tutorials, or if there are, they are really out of the way. The game just gives you $10,000, drops you off in an undeveloped area and leaves you to fend for yourself. I must have went through 10 cities before i finally figured out how to get started. hahaha

But, because the game is evil, as soon as i got the city to a point where it could function, it was like someone dropped a napalm explosive in the center of town. Just BOOM, fire everywhere. In about 30 seconds the power plant, police station, school, library and about 4 blocks of homes went bye bye, oh and the train station too. The train that was approaching actually stopped and went backward twice as fast as it did getting there. hahaha

Then, after starting a new city and getting to where it was semi stable i went to the pause menu and saw a tab for "natural disasters". I thought it would be a smart idea to take a look here and see what is required to activate and prevent them. So, i click on the tab, then since i remember the napalm explosion, i click on "Fire" so i can see all the possible ways this cold be triggered. But what the game didn't tell me was that this tab wasn't for info on natural disasters, it was for CAUSING natural disasters. So, once again my city's engulfed in flames and i get to watch everything get burned to the ground for a second time.

Then right after that i get the monthly newspaper with the headline "Taxi driver delivers baby on the side --- of the road" meaning that there is no hospital in the town to which i reply "Oh fuck you!"

I don't think the game likes me. hahaha It's a lot different than the pc version that i remember though. Fun but not quite what i was looking for.

On a side note, why is it that whenever i let someone else use my pc they always manage to jam the g damned U key. Every time i'm trying to type the word "you" i have to practically press through the damn key. hahaha

funny but obvious observation

16:16 Jan 15 2010
Times Read: 714

I've been thinking back to my elementary school days and i noticed something.

When you first go to school, like in your pk, k and 1st grade years everything's all happy and smiley and has an over all YAY feeling. Then as you get older and progress through school you find out just how much the world sucks. hahaha

English class in particular.

Early years- Books on talking animals, people in magical places full of joy and laughter and all that assorted crap.

3rd grade to 6th - Books on racism, natural disasters and the talking animals from above being killed for food.

7th to 9th - Sex, war, murder. You find out that the magical worlds from the early years were in fact drug induced hallucinations And those who experienced them were in a gang and are now probably dead.

10th to 12th - sex, drugs, violence and suicide in highly detailed novels! Librarians going over books for an English project and having "Go ask Alice" in the top 5 list along with books on yet more gang violence and rape!

College - Not only do you get to read about all the sex, violence, suicide and so on but...you get to write your own too!

Hey... Go Ask Alice is an amazing book! *sticks out tongue* But it's more than that... apply it to every day life in general... the books just aren't filled with that ... your life is filled with that overall. Your parents slowly stop protecting you from things as you grow. You learn more... and there's no magical band aid to put on it and mommy can't kiss away those boo boos.

LSmall rant on learning style!

16:06 Jan 15 2010
Times Read: 715

I hate being ridiculed by my friends about my study habits. I mean yeah, it's funny sometimes but for some odd reason its gotten to the point where they actually think less of me and that is just annoying.

My friend Jon in particular is really getting on my nerves, which i think he knows and enjoys. hahaha Some friendship right? hahaha

This is kind of a strange comparison but has anyone ever seen the old Cartoon Network show Dexter's Laboratory? If so, have you ever seen the episode where he goes to college? The kid is so uptight the whole time, all he does is study. Day in, day out just study, study, study until finally he snaps. Aside from the snapping part - yet - that's Jon. hahaha

I on the other hand act kinda like an idiot. I'm terribly disorganized, i play computer games while i should be reading my textbook, i get on average 4 hours of sleep a night and I daydream during lectures. However, I am the only one that Jon has to compete with in terms of GPA. All of our other friends have GPA's in the 2.0 to 2.5 area, meanwhile Jon and I have GPA ranging from 3.2 to 4.0 depending on how much of a bitch our teachers are. hahaha

I am what i like to call productively lazy. I put out the same quality of work as the top students in class but with considerably less effort on my part. hahaha It's because my mind is so obsessed with time. I try to squeeze in as much as i can during the day so i'm constantly trying to find faster and faster ways of doing things while still being successful and it is awesome! Grant it most of what i do during the day is play video games but i get a hell of a lot done on my games while people like Jon are stuck in front of a textbook wishing they could be doing what I'm doing. hahaha

As usual the way i do things doesn't earn me much respect because i still act like an idiot but you can't deny results!

It pisses Jon off so much when he's studying and calls me to ask about where some information in the book is and all he hears on my end is video game gun fire, and then i still can tell him where the info is. hahaha

Another thing that drives him insane, although slightly unrelated, is that he can't profile me. hahaha He's studying to become a criminal profiler for the FBI, and for practice he profiles his friends and family. And I'm probably the only one he can't figure out. hahaha He knows what I'm going to do in situations because he's known me since middle school but he has yet to figure out the logic behind my actions. hahaha Probably because there is none. hahaha I'm kidding. I give a lot of thought to what i do and say, but it only takes me about 5 seconds. hahaha I use the rest of my time to either make a smart ass comment, tell a joke or shoot something, hence the acting like an idiot. A very smart idiot. hahaha

Today i have succeeded in making myself the social pariah of my English class. hahaha We had to "introduce" ourselves and i went to town with that. hahaha

Talked about normal stuff first like my hobbies and stuff, then went into my vision impairment, then into the stories of how i got hurt, like the falling off the cliff and getting my knee cap cut off. I managed to make some people cringe! hahaha

I did end up actually being scolded by my friend jon after class, which was kinda pathetic on his part. He's one of those people where status means everything and has his own views of how everyone should act.

Personally i don't think there's a problem with anything i said. I mean, the falling off a cliff story wouldn't be something i'd bring up in a job interview unless it was somehow relevant. But that is also a formal setting. The college classroom is an informal setting, it's not even a lecture hall, it's like a regular high school class.

I don't think you should chose what to say based on how others will feel about it, especially if what ou're saying is about you. Just seems dumb to me.

Squirrel's are awesome!

15:43 Jan 12 2010
Times Read: 723

I think i found a new favorite pet. hahaha

I was sitting outside of my psychology class, waiting for class to start, it's in the same room as my history class which was funny. I got a twix bar from the snack machine before sitting on a bench outside of the classroom. I'm just sitting there daydreaming about my girl when i hear something jump onto the bench beside me. I look over and there's this little squirrel sitting at the other end looking up at me all nervous. I shrug and went back to daydreaming when it makes its way over to me and starts rubbing itself against my leg. hahaha

I watched it for a minuet and said "Hello to you too buddy." After it was done that it started pawing at my leg and looking up at me, did this a few times before i pointed my 1/4 eaten twix bar in its direction. Then it stood up on its hind legs like it was begging. I broke off a small chunk and put it on the bench between the squirrel and I.

It took it like 2 minuets to finish the small chunk, meaning either squirrels eat slow as hell or it was savoring the twix. hahaha

I broke off another chunk and threw it a little ways in front of me, the squirrel jumped off the bench, took the chunk of the candy and ran back onto the bench before eating it.

Then the next chunk it actually ate out of my hand.

I was so amused at this point that i gave the squirrel the rest of the twix and watched it snack away. hahaha

I expected it to run off for more food when it finished ,especially since i threw the twiz rapper away but it went back to rubbing against my leg, until i finally pulled out the laptop to type this, then it ran off into the bushes. hahaha

Gonna come back to this spot tomorrow and see if it's still there.

It's unlikely but there's a slight possibility it's the same squirrel that loved to follow me around campus last semester. hahaha That would be hilarious!

Wonder if it'll come back to the bench if i put the laptop away, only one way to find out. hahaha

I might not be all that good with people but animals adore me! hahaha

Well this semester's already off to an interesting start and i haven't even left home yet. hahaha

I was packing all of my stuff into this book bag that's lasted for about 5 years i think. I was still feeling kinda groggy on account of only getting a few hours of sleep last night and i was thinking that i better find some way to wake myself up before i go in today. Then the ginormous MS office book fell out of the bag and smashed on my foot, i'm just standing there thinking "problem solved!....ouch...."

This freakin book is big enough to knock someone out, and it's paperback! I was actually nervous for a second because i thought there is no way this class neess a book this freakin big, then after flipping through it i realized that it not only gives step-by-step instructions for each and every section but it gives it in baby steps! Written at like a 3rd grade level so even the dumbest of the dumb can figure out how to work Excel and Word and all of that good crap.

I can't believe i'm gonna get college credit for this crap! hahaha I have MS office 2007 on my laptop already, i've just been too lazy to look at it in detail. Why do at home what you can do in class? hahaha I mastered all of the 2003 stuff so the only main difference is the way things are organized.

Thankfully my art book is more of an art history book, and while i still hate art, i like history so yay! And i got notes on almost all chapters like i said before! I checked the notes on random chapters just to be safe and they are genuine so i can pretty much guarantee an A in that class. hahaha

My other class is this second level writing class. Honestly I could just jump to level 3 and ace it and be done with it but they're making me take all 3 levels because it's "mandatory". I did better in writing than 92% of the state and i'm still forced to be in classes with the chaff. At least it's yet another effortless A.

The last class, psychology, i'm interested in though. I did take college level psychology in high school so i doubt i'll learn too much i don't already know, but i get to show off....the fuck....sorry, sidetracked, my desk just made some kinda popping noise, gonna move my laptop before the thing caves in. hahaha Anyway...i get to show off how smart i am! not that i don't flaunt that around enough already. hahaha And if i do learn something new, that means i can better manipulate people which i'm all for! hahaha

Think i'm gonna get a little nap before i go to colege and sleep for the whole day. hahaha

yay arrogance!

Fallout 3 - Free beer!

I was showing my dad how Fallout 3 looks on the new TV, showing him post-nuclear Washington D.C. and he was saying how it would be utterly horrible to have to live in a world like that. Then i opened a container that had 5 beers and 3 whiskey bottles and he's like "actually it might not be all that bad."

Building 10...

Ok just gotta say something about this quick. I'm looking on the map of my college campus, trying to find "building 10" for one of my classes and I have to say i think whoever designated these buildings for classes must have been high.

The campus tries to be organized with its building numbers. Starting with 1 at the 3:00 position and going clockwise with the numbering, until you get to building 9, it skips 10 and goes straight to 11 then 14. It took me 10 freakin minuets to find building 10 which for some odd reason they placed at the opposite end of the campus next to buildings 17. Bastards are trying to make me get some exercise on the way to that damned class.

And the irony of it is that the class with the pain in the ass walk is also the class i dislike. Art Appreciation.....the only art i appreciate is the kind that's been put through a furnace.

Speaking of art appreciation though, the used book i got at the bookstore came with notes! Lots and lots of notes! hahaha So thank you to whomever had this book before me and thank you librarian lady for being too lazy to check!

Yet another funny story!

Grandpa and i were talking about when the milk in the fridge would expire and it reminded me of something funny i did a few years ago.

About 3 years ago, back when i was still living with my mom and dad, and we still had real milk (none of that soy shit) i poured a glass but before i drank it i noticed this odd smell coming from the glass. I told my dad that i think the milk's gone bad and he told me to drink it and find out for sure. I sure as hell wasn't gonna drink it, so i called my sister in to drink it instead!

When she came into the kitchen i handed her the glass and just said "Here, drink this!" She did, and then nearly threw up as she ran to the bathroom. Then i just looked at my dad and said "Yep, milk's gone bad."

Come to think of it that situation may be the reason my sister hates regular milk. hahaha

Yay funny moment!

This is something funny that happened earlier. This game I'm playing has an "auto battle" feature that lets the AI take control of your team and fight for you. Normally i would never trust the AI to do much of anything but the boss i was fighting was hardly doing any famage, he just wouldn't freakin die. So i put it on auto battle, left the controller on the chair and went out to the kitchen to get a drink.

While i was out there dad comes into my room, thinking i'm in there because of the fighting sounds, then goes out looking for me all confused.

When he finds me in the kitchen he says "I though you were in there playing your game". to which i reply "I am." "You're not even holding the controller" "Don't need to" Then i tapped at my head a few times and sat down in the chair drinking my cup of orange juice (For you slow people, the tapping at the head is like saying i'm playing it with my mind.)

He listens to the gameplay for a second and is like

"Bull shit" "Can you think of a better explanation?"

He follows me into my room and watches me for a minuet. I figured out who's turn it was based on the camera angle and pointed my finger at the screen just as the girl on my team casted a healing spell on one of the other teammates. Then i turn to my dad and say "See."

He ended up laughing and walking out of the room saying "I'm not even gonna think on this one."

hahaha

I got my grandpa with it later in the day too. He came into the room while i was in the bathroom, the auto battle was on another painfully easy boss fight. I hear my grandpa go into the room and then a few seconds later " Matt you want something to eat? ....... Yo Matt? ...... Where in the hell is that boy?"

On a side note the graphics in this game are so bad, earlier when my grandpa came in he thought the character i was controlling at the time - a soldier - was a dog.....

making a silent hill RPG-ish game

After replaying the original silent hill, buying and beating Origins and listening to practically every song from every game i have decided to put my one project on hold and try my hand at a silent hill game.

I know i promised myself i'd finish my 1st project before starting on anything else but i just put the story together for this in my head and now it's all i can think about.

If anyone who reads this is interested in testing it when i'm finished let me know.

Also if i start on another project before finishing either of these two could someone please shoot me in the foot? Thanks. hahaha
