I hate to admit it but i think this is a game i just can not beat. Still on the first level. The game is great and anyone who likes military squad tactics should get it but my vision is a major handycap. The game's fighting is based on realistic distances from targets and i can't go into the military because of the distance from hostile targets. hahaha Vision's just too low. Now while my vision itself doesn't directly affect the game, i can't pick out the finer details of enemy movements that normal people can do. If i had a sniper rifle that'd be different but i got a compact rifle and even though it has a scope the oom's at like 2x.



I wish i was better at it but my team can't do all the work, especially on the hardest difficulty and i just can't see the enemies to kill them. Those that i've gotten close enough to see i've peged in the head and i've gotten a little better at tracking incoming fire to the point of origin but not enough to really odo anything. I'm gonna keep trying but if i don't make any progress by netxt week i'm trading it in for moder warfare 2 or left 4 dead 2.



Hate woodland combat, loved it in metal gear and i'm decently good when i have like a 6x or 8x scope but i can't rely on my vision at base value. It sucks. Although since typing this is hurting my pride a little i'm gonna keep experementing with tactics. Can't give up.

This happened....yesterday actually. hahaha My grandpa was driving me home from college and he was singing this old song, never heard it before. I asked "Who sings that?" He says all confidentlyy "Conway Twitty" and since i just couldn't resist i say "Good, let's keep it that way." He didn't get the joke for a while but when he pulled into our development he stopped the car. "You're walking" "hahahaha" ".............." ".......you're serious?"

A few days ago I met this girl on here, Kristen. I was just asking people how they were, getting to know everyone on my friends list. Se caught my attention right away. She's a really bright and logical girl and has a good head on her shoulders. She's a few years older than me but age doesn't matter to me. I finally got the courage to ask her out today and she said yes! So, YES! I know we've only known each other for a very short time but we've really clicked. She's really tallanted too! Who knew such a gem of a girl would be on a site like this.



I just hope i don't overdue it. I'm so excited she said yes but i don't wanna overwhelm her, that wouldn't be good. Provided i can figured it out i'm gonna give her my cell number when she gets home. Hopefully she's not too tired to talk. Hopefully I'm not too tired to talk either. hahaha

Yesterday was when i was recovering from an accedental overdose of sleeping pills from tuesday night. In a moment of weakness i ended up swallowing the whole bottle and spent the better part of wednesday morning semi paralyzed and dehydrated.



Anyway, i was still ill on thursday and in the morning when i mentioned it to my grandpa he forceably shoved a thermomater into my mouth and took my temprature. Later on at night when i was commenting on how rough he was with that damn thing my dad asked to see it. Grandpa showed him and dad was like "Oh my god" and i'm thinking "what?" and he's like "Matt, this isn't a regular thermomater!" Keep in mind i was 1/4 of the way done making chicken for dinner at this point. I'm thinking it's just old as hell like everything else in the house so I'm like "so, it's old." And he replies "No, it's new. This is the thermomater pop pop (our nickname for grandpa) brought home with him on tuesday when he got his prostate exame." I almost threw up right there. Then dad had to go on about "It's a rectal thermomater Matt, look at the silver tip. You ate an ass thermomater! Didn't it taste like ass man?" And grandpa said "I cleaned it! It's fine!" I lost my appetite at this point and ran into my room. Haven;t felt like eating anything sense. hahaha



The moral of this story: Always check what you put in your mouth! Oh and never let a 76 year old grandpa shove anything in there either.

Got a new game today as a random present from grandpa and dad. Operation Flashpoint, apparently a new release war game.



So far, it's doing a pretty good job of kicking my ass. Grant it i am playing on the hardest difficukty right from the get go but it's more of avision thing than a difficulty thing.



The game's great graphics and the forrest enviroment make the enemies blend into the background. I understand that's what cammo is uspposed to do but i mean to an unreal extent for me. Everyone else can see them fine but i can't until i'm about 20 feet from them and by then all it takes is 1 shot to kill me. So needless to say i haven't even goten past the 1st level. But it is still fun. Gonna play it more later after i do what i need to do on mafia wars.

Why do I always have to be the one to wash dishes in this house??? Furthermore, why the hell do we have so many dirty plates when we have 500 paper plates still in the cabinet? AND, why the hell don't we use the damn dishwasher? Old people I swear.....get with the program! It's 2009 not 1950.....

Dishes multiply over night - I am convinced. There is always more in the morning than when you went to bed the night before.



Dishwashers? Unheard of! There is nothing like hot water to scald your hands while washing and rinsing said millions of dishes. Paper plates were unheard of unless you were going out for a picnic.

i spent the last hour or so talking to my sister on facebook and she wants me to get a myspace......eh..... i don't know. Should i? I really don't know, one site like that is enough. Anyone see a benifit to having 2 sites like that?

I'm bored out of my mind so, what the hell.

A few weeks ago I woke up in the morning with long cut on my left hand, still not sure where i got it from or how for that matter. /It stretched from just below my thumb to my pinky and had a scab of dried blood. I didn't notice it when i wokr up, my dad did. Here's the conversation.

-Dad: How the hell'd you get that?

-Me: Get what?

-Dad: The cut

-Me: "Cut?

-Dad: On your hand!

*looks at palm of hand and shrugs

-Me: How the hell'd I get that?



(Although I don't remember one I think one of my Silent Hill dreams was a little too vivid. hahahaha)

Yesterday I went to a friends house to hang out for a while, havent't done that in ages. Irt wasn't his real home but the one he's staying in while he goes to college. The people there are family friends and they are as addicted to games as I am. Only thing is they have a problem with the ones that are too realistic, like Falout 3. But still, I never met people that age that were that into video games. We were laughing and joking the whole time. Man it was great. I think I only made one bad joke the hwole time. hahaha Hope I get to do that again some time.

You know how everyone in the world has a role or a job to play? No i'm not talking in religon I mean in other people's lives. For the past 2 years I've thought my job was to take care of Jessie. To keep her safe and happy. But what if my job was just to deliver her to Racheal?



I can sya this without a doubt Jessie and Racheal would have never met if it wasn't for me. There have been quite a few times where Jessie was close to killing herself and I pulled her away from it. Especially when Kay died. That's why Jessie is so close to Racheal, she looks at her and sees Kay.



If my job was only to keep her safe until she could be with Racheal then it only makes sense that she doesn't need me anymore. That's just how it works.



I still wish her and I were soulmates but after seeing that video....we're not. I don't think mine even exists.



At least Jessie's happy. I guess this is for the best.....



I'm cutting off contact with her as of now. Taking her off my friends list, not gonna block her though for ratings sake. But I'm taking every mention of her off again, this time for good. Otherwise I'm just constantly reminded of what once was.

it actually happened. Normally i'd never write about something like this but i already destroyed any type of repuation i somehow had so, what the hell. My fiance left me. She said she'd never leave, i can't believe i fell for that. I spent the last two years planning everything for us and now....now i'm just lost. She was the only one i loved. The only one who actually made me happy. We had our bad moments, a lot of bad moments but i loved our relationship. i wouldn't trade it away for anything. We told each other we'd be honest, and look what my honesty did. All i did was tell her my feelings on a situation.......

Just yesterday everything was fine and now she won't even talk to me. It's like i don't exist....



We've been through so much, had so many memories. now they're meaningless. I took care of her, walked her through her problems and tried my hardest to cheer her up. I stodd by her when she had crippling body pains and she couldn't move. I stood by her when her closest friend died. I've never felt so close to someone in my entier life. now it's all gone.......

No matter what i do i can't get her back. i'd gladly trade anything for her. even my eyesight. I just want my fiance back. I want to hear her voice and her laugh and see her smile. All i have are memories which are now more painful than happy. I never thought i'd find my soulmate. I found her, spent two wonderful years with her and then had her yanked away from me forever. She was my motivation for everything. Now everything i do is meaningless......

lost love is the hardest thing to get over if you can ever manage to get over it, just when you think you are over them memories sneaks around the corner to haunt you. is love supposed to save us or destroy us is it a curse or a blessing it gives real meaning to the words bitter sweet. write down your fondest memories and the times you felt the closest. and how being with out her is breaking your heart. and send it to her. then back up and just give her some time. give her some time to miss you as well. i wish you luck let me know how things work out and if you ever need a friend to talk to just give me a hollar

It's a great game that's being updated regularly. We'll see if it gets out of beta testing by the end of the year. Hopefully it does.

finally, FINALLY finished that damned game demo! Despite 4 months of glitches, bugs, coding errors....more coding errors and just a hint of procrastination it's finished!!! It's got about 2 hours of gameplay and except for the last section (The "co writer" wanted his section action packed but I think it just looks tacky) it's great!!! I even managed to save it all to a flash drive because of this feeling of impending doom. hahaha I got a feeling that if i didn't finish it yesterday I'd some how lose all the data.



If anyone's interested in playing it all i'd need is a secondary email you don't mind giving. It'll take 2 or 3 emails though. One including just about everything file wise in a ziped foldier, including the game client, hopefully. If it doesn't work just gootle RPG maker XP RTP download, it should be free. The other 2 are the music files. you'll need to put them in the same folder that the rest of the game's in for it to play. It's a hastle i know but don't blame me, the music is part of what makes the game. Blame the 25MB limit on email.

I probably butchered the crap out of the title but it's a zombie game I found while I was going from site to site clicking links at random. It's a ....2d/3d game, not quite sure which to call it. It's from a bird eye view so i guess that would make it 2d, right? anyway, it's a MMORPG game in a zombie infested city! The city is free roam although there's not too much to look at at the moment. A big notice at the main page says it's still in open BETA testing and the real game is supposed to come out further near the end of '09. it's free to play but you can get special perks if you donate to the site, of course. The graphics are pretty good and it's easy to die so its hard as well. Especially if you be stupid and start as a journalist armed with nothing but a pocket knife like i did. Yay pocket knives! It's a fun game to play. Trying to get my fiance and my friend BLADE into it, hopefully they like it so i'll have some smart people to play with.

I've finished every last aspect of this god forsaken paper and am now just waiting ot turn it all in when science class rolls around. After that, provided I get a good grade on it, I'll have nothing to worry about for the rest of the semester! I would have had it all done much, much earlier today but my damned printer decided to malfunction and well.....printer go boom. I need my good luck back.

I hate and despies anime but this one is actually as kick ass as the games. Now the 2nd anime I'll actually watch and enjoy, so good for that.



It's a 12 episode show that fills the gaps between games 1 amd 4.



The order goes like this

Game 3, 1, anime, 4, and 2.

The show even fills in how two of the characters meet which I thought was kinda interesting. It's also cool to see what the characters would do outside of the games. It's a shame it's so damn short though. Wish they'd make more. All of the good shows are always so short while the horrible ones like naruto go on FOREVER! Except for the Wild ArRMs anime, that was both horrible and short so that's good.



Some of the voice over acting in the show sucks though. The girl who plays Lady isn't all that great in the first few episodes but she gets better around episode 4 and 5. The one that voices Dante is the same as in the games so you know he's really good. They nailed his personality perfectly too. Only let down was that for some reason i thought it was going to be 20 episodes, so when everything went to hell i couldn't wait for the rest, then it all ended thtat same episode. But still, there's plenty of fighting and funny stuff through the show, glad as hell i watched it. Now I wanna play the games again.

This is a poem i got from a friend in the coven about ocelots - the cats. Everyone i showed it to liked it. My fiance, my grandfather (suprised the hell out of me) and a few students at college who saw it when i showed my fiance. hahaha Go ocelots!!!

DeirdreL and I were able to get "married" yesterday on the game Endleess Online, on one of the player run servers called Endless Edge. One of the most craziest wedding's I've ever seen. hahahaha



First off, everyone was armed. I hope that's not the case in our real wedding or I'm gonna be kinda scared.



Second off, although it should have been first off because of how strange it is, it was in a gothic "church" with monsters roaming around. The birde's maid and i guess he guy there would be the best man, were more or less security so that DeirdreL and I wouldn't get mauled. There were skulls everywhere, a nuse, blood. And the priestes was in a skeliton costume. And..and for some odd reason we had to put on pumpkin masks. It migh just be me but saying our voels through pumpkins kinda takes away from the whole expreiance. Not that we said any sort of vowels but still.



3rd, it was disorganized. hahaha We were there for around 45 minuets before the actual ceramony actually started. Up until then i think it was both Keira (on here) and another girl who's name i forget were killing the men who attended because they wouldn't comply. And at one point one swonr swing and someone killed DeirdreL - the bride - aswell. That made my mouth drop open. We were all just standing there for a minuet in silence. Or at least i thinker all were. I was too busy laughing to pay much attention.



Humor aside i like the whole marrage aspect of the game and the ceramony itself was kinda cute...and violent! Yay violence!!! It was well, well worht attending.

God, they're everywhere! You wouldn't think so many people would be so poorly educated but wow. We got to talking about technology in western civilizations today and nearly everyone who spoke has a media driven opinion. I doubt they've ever done any real research on these things because all they did was relay the same fear driven message the media's already done time and time again. Technology is not a bad thing, it is not a crutch! We've got these anti technology, global warming alarmists behind me saying how we're destroying the enviroment and I just wanna shoot them, multiple times. I've done a lot and I mean a LOT of research into global warming, enough to say confidently that humans as a species are not causing it. Hell, it may not even be happening. Just to sum up all that i've found out; even though it's gotten hotter in soem parts of the world it's also gotten significantly colder in others. I've found media reports claiming that snow fall is at an all time low, then i found weather reports showing record amounts of snow fall in the same exact areas. Then there's the ice ages! The worls is on a cycle of intense but slow cooling and intense but slow heating. It is a natural ocurance. Even our CO2 emmissions into the atmosphere are insignificant. People spend so much money on special cars that claim to produce less CO2, when even in the "standard" issue ard, the worldwide total CO2 emissions from vehicales is around 0.035%. That's LESS than one percent! What do you want? 0.0000%?



I honestly think the professor's ignoring me because he knows i can destroy any of their arguments in a matter of minuets. Maybe its because he wants a good debate?



Now, I will admit I'm an arrogent bastard and I do more ofen that not tend to think my way is the only way. But I'm not the one who came up with these numbers. I didn't calculate the data. I researched, and cross referanced the data gathered by others to form my conclusion. I've done enough work to say i know what i'm talking about. But because people love to blindly folly emotion and can't think beyond what they believe, people ignore my facts entierly.



Then those same anti-tech fodders are also anti-government. Talking about how most of the governments programs are flawed. I douubt they even understand the first thing about government. This is a republic The government does not and will not regulate anything outside of its borders. They try to help as best they can but because society doesn't want government control, their actions are limited. Sure we could go to a dictatorship or a communist government. then the government could provide as much as it damn well pleased. But people would complain about that too. People need to understand that running a country well is a give and take business. You want less restrictions on what you can and can't do, you get a smaller safety net. If you allow the government to get more control, you lose many freedoms. You can't get both a safety net and freedom, it just doesn't work. The country is going to run itself into an economic wall and then BOOM widespread poverty. Then they're all gonna blame their government even though it's society's unrelenting demands that caused it in the first place. I want it clear that i do not support the US government. I am a communist and I believe in social and economic equality. But at the same time the US government has done a hell of a lot for this country. Everyone's worried about the government holding too much power, and it becoming currupt...more currupt. But no one thinks that society can get currupt too. In a Republic/democracy type government the domest polocies are only as good as the people they affect. Like welfare for example. A great idea! It's goal was to give the less fortunate the ability to get back on their feet and rejoin the workforce. But instead many of the people who recieve welfar abuse it. Mooching off it for yeard and/or using it to get drugs and over all making their lives worse. There is even a large underground economy entierly off of welfare! Its not the governments fault the polocy isn't working well, it's the fact that people can't control their greed.



I wish people would realize this already. I'm tired of being surrounded by mindless fodder.

I bought this game over the weekend. I was hoping to buy Romance of the Three Kingdoms 11 but of course, it's never at the stores. So I got that. I played it before when I rented it but I forgot how fun it is. The Devil May Cry series is known for its insanly hard game play and that's what draws me to it. They have lower difficulties for the less skilled players and then they have incredably hard ones where every single enemy is like it's own boss. And my favorite difficulty - Hell or Hell mode. All enemies have twice as much life as they normally would but you die in 1 hit.



The game also has bad ass fights. there's one, where you fight Dante - the main character of all Devil May Cry games before 4 - and for literally the first 5 minuets of the fight none of our hits connected. We either dodged each others attacks or our swords and bullets canceled each other out. There was this one point for example, I chared at him, he thrust his sword forward and out blades hit. We jumped back, he charged forward and I jumped over him. Landed behind him and tried to slash him in the back. He turned and blocked it. then we both jumped up in the air, swung at each other and our blades again caught. While we were falling back down we were shooting at eahc other and our bullets were canceling out. This happened until we hit the ground. All of that happened in about 10 seconds. Best fight in the whole game and frigin impossible on hell or hell mode.

In my writing class we have to write a paper about an interesting event in our lives. It's gotta be at least 1,000 words. all of my interesting points have to do with video games. I was trying to write about the time I fell off a cliff at Turkey Point or the time I got my knee cap sliced open but that's not enough to write 1,000 words about. Most I could really get is around 500-600. Whch then, i may as well not turn it in. hahaha



I'm either going to write about the month I was famous on Armored Core 4 or the awsome campaign my friend and I did on Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The second choice I wrote a rough draft for, got over 5,000 and there's no way to dumm that down so I don't know. I did warn him that I write excessivly. hahahaha

This is kinda funny. The air conditioning broke for the social sciences building so it's apparently "hot at fuck". It's like in the high 80s I think. These are people who live in Florida and they think it's hot. I'm the only one who thinks its cool. Building up my heat tolerance back in highschool paid off, kinda. I'm used to tempreture in the high 90s and low 100s. The highest it's ever gotten was 102. I think around 110 is when you start to get brain damage so I think that's as high as it'll ever go. I didn.t sya anything ot the class, probably should have though. It's still funny to see floridians complain about how hot it is.

September has been one hell of a month relationship wise. Jessie and I have broken up and gotten back together twice and have had a hell of a lot of arguments. Thankfully we're still willing to try and work our relationship out.



But for all those people who think I'm such a horrible person and she should leave I got two words for you - fuck you. I don't want your worthless opinions so go shove them up your ass. You all don't know what the fuck's going on so stop acting like you do and go help other people who actually want it.
