Regaining feeling

For so long I was being medicated
There was no feeling, everything was numb.
He was feeding me his poisons throught a false blanket of love.
I broke away, and recovered my heart again.
Left broken and scarred, I pulled back those very same pieces that had picked up before.
I fit them back together with bands of my strength. And made a black hole a heart again.
Time moved with no speed, days sat upon another.
There was a heart again, but no feeling.
Nothing but emptyness...
What is the cure to this lonelyness?!
An infectious drug, a sweet sweet addiction.
The warmth of someone else's feelings, the fire inside his heart,
is melting away the ice barrier that petrifed my heart.
Slowly I am feeling heat again,
slowly color returns again,
slowly I'm starting to have feelings again.
