The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

It seems like since Halloween, all hell has broken loose. It seemed too quiet over the summer. I was told to enjoy the calm before the storm. I should've listened.



First we had a tribunal for a member who broke the Veil and traditions of Cepitm Civis. He ran off with a minor. He was exiled. Then we had to deal with possible fallout in other courts regarding said decision. Thankfully that worked itself out.



Now this....More posers and trendies. Yet again, we have predators and posers making headway in our community. Dumb kids just don't get it. I live this! This is my life! This is not a game or some trend you jump on for a week. You can walk away from the community but you can't walk away from what is in your blood, in your soul.



As far as the possible preadtor goes, my info is that he took advntage of a woman, made claims that the local council is after him (news to me since I'm on the council). Now he says he did some ritual to rid himself of his vampyric tendencies. Yea right.



If you are reading this, we know who you are. We know where to find you. If you don't want to be a part of the community, fine. We can't force you. However, if you call yourself a vampire and take advantage of others, in our name, I have no issue with advising law enforcemnt (and your Commanding Officer). If you want to be a part of this, and have a chance at a position, a title, to be something, we can offer that to you. All you have to do is follow the Black Veil and the Traditions of Ceptim Civis. Put in the hard work, go through the Ordeals and you will be rewarded. If you are just some lazy bastard who wants to be grand high puba and not do any work, do you think your minons will respect you? Think about it.

Looks like I spoke too soon. It appears I may have to go to NY to sort out a situation.



In the meantime, I'm working on a letter to a household regarding a member who was exiled. Hopefully that's the end of it. Politics....and on top of that, trying to get all the shit together for the holidays. My stress level does not need all this. I say that but when it gets quiet, I get restless.

It deals mainly with politics, news, current events. My current rants have to deal with the TSA "pat downs" or as most people call them, sexual assaults.....



Anyhow, things here have been fairly quiet since the last tribunal. Thankfully we tend to have long periods of peace and quiet before bad things happen.



It's a good thing as well, my stress level has been rising with the closeness of the holidays. These are rough times, and job security sucks (along with the economy in general). Even with all that said I'm still considering leaving my job of 6 years (longest job i've ever had). We had an incident over the weekend and now we're expected to clean up after stupid kids when they vandalize shit.

Nope, not gonna happen. I'm not a janitor, a maid or a fucking nanny! Unfortunately, some people seem to think it is our job. I bring this up with the boss, and I'm told I have a poor attitude. I say no, I'm raising my self esteem. All the little extras add up to raises and Christmas bonuses. Do I take them? Yes, but I don't grovel for it!



Perhaps it's time to make a new start, and find a new career....

I have to shake my head. When you make big mistakes, your past can catch up to you. If you break the laws of Ceptim Civis, you will be tried. My number 1 pet peve, NO INVOLVEMENT WITH MINORS! No thinking with the wrong head, if you get my drift. It is a sure way to exile and notification of law enforcement. On this, I don't play games. It can jepordize all of our lives, professions ect.
