The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

Oof, what a week..to put it lightly.
I finally got most of my work stuff squared away, but Brenda (my ex wife), is making things quite a bit gloomier around here. She wants to move back out to Seattle with the kids, so she can be closer to her family and leave all the memories of the east coast, and me, behind. I know our kids have always adored her family, and they’d still be getting a good education and a wonderful mother, but....fuck, I would miss them.
I’ve been moping around more than I’d like, and I think took it out on some random people where I shouldn’t have. Nothing huge, just misplaced snark.
I revamped my wardrobe some, thought it might cheer me up for a minute. I know it sounds stupid, but I’m starting to get into dressing how I feel, and it’s amazing some of the age-appropriate alternative fashion you can find online nowadays! Gone are the days of the mall, for sure. Good. I ever was a big shopping guy, I thought the options available were really boring or too ‘young’ till now. And it did help, I guess shop therapy is a thing for a reason. Now let’s hope everything fits 😬.
Time for an early night. I’m a couple beers deep and it’s just making me tired. Better head to bed before I wake up groggy on the couch at 3 am again.

Damn Mondays.
Work was hectic as all get-out, there’s always a huge pile of papers that need catching up on. Just when I get done with the employee evaluation meetings, there’s a flood of vacation requests to filter through. Its definitely that time of year again!
My bear friend hasn’t been back yet, but I’ve been keeping a tight lid on the garbage and recycling bins for the time being, and my dog hasn’t been going outside off leash, just in case. I don’t know what I’d do if I ended up losing him. He’s a good old boy, and really helping me through a rough time.
The house feels a little empty lately, but nothing I can’t handle. The weather is getting warmer, which is kind of nice. I guess I should be careful going out in the sun so I don’t burst into flames or something! Haha! Ah well, I’m still looking forward to getting the garden going this year. I have these great dark, blood red roses in mind, but I might go with something a little less...predictable. If time allows, I could even spruce up the paint on the shutters and trim on my house with a new shade. Not sure if I’d go with black, maybe a deep charcoal?
