Regardless of who and what you are, I do believe it is just our inner primitive side seeking what wants to get out and that is why we behave so. Think back in 133AD in Rome they held the coliseums many went to watch those, so really what you witnessed today might not be that much different, but we today convince ourselves we are not "Barbaric", but really are we? Mortal or Vampyre we all have that side that wants to kill and see blood shed, there is no change to this no matter how refined or dignified we do believe that we are...

I find the ignorance loathsome, especially when people slow down to look at a car wreck. They act just like cattle, and like the Romans, and the Aztecs they will die in the thousands when the Barbarians kick in the gates, and burn what has become "civilized sodom" to the ground.
