Some spin in circles,

Some shoot into the sky.

Others shower you in sparks,

Radience and light.

Some fly like rockets,

Some create huge Bangs! And Crashes!

But others remain silent…



Even though fireworks have their own unique ability,

They have one thing in common.

They can be as hurtful as tongues of flame,

And loud as a roaring lion.



But they keep you occupied with the really pretty patterns,

And loud whizzing and hissing noises,

“pretty pretty!!” the children exclaim in a loud cry,

But they don’t realise they danger that is near,

For they don’t want to fry!!!!
