I understand you on this. its hard to find a coven these days...so many, many members, and many not knowing who and what and such.
I did the looking around and found so many that just didn't fit for one reason or another.

don't change just to fit in imo it is not worth it, you got to be true to who you are.
sometimes taking a break from a society can be a good thing since you can still participate in the general forums and post in journals

When I first leveled up, I thought I'd strike out on my own... but I lucked into the coven I'm in today... and it's pretty relaxed.
So, for now, I'm staying.
