Calling Forth the Darkness

15:24 Aug 16 2018
Times Read: 343

Slowly like extravagant curtains, darkness consumed the world around her, shrouding her sights with shadows that swallowed her very existence. The stench of death caressed her nostrils as the air surrounding her seeped within to the very bone like the bitter bite of winter. Lips the shade of crimson roses donned her face as curled raven lashes slowly fluttered open to allow deep sapphire hues to greet the world once more. Dainty fingers curled about the walls of her confines before her slender form was kissed by the pale rays of the moonlight over head, illuminating her features with the softest of auras. As curious hues scanned the outside world around her, the thickened silence of the world caused a subtle sigh to settle within her chest. No sounds caressed her ears, not even the sound of her beating heart for it had been buried away long ago in solitude to make sure it was protected until the end of eternity. For too long her heart yearned to belong, to understand, to co-exist…and with the memories that lingered within her mind she felt a numbing pitter patter within her soul. She sought to obtain solace, peace, and family. Stepping forth from her confines, she greeted the world with blank features, eyes fixated forward as her feet slowly yet surely carried her forward…destination…unknown.

Her journey continued onward through the vastly, ever changing realms of this darkened world that she had learned to call home. Weary feet continued to carry her forward through various terrains, over obstacles that she fought to overcome until she came upon a small corner of the world which seemed to be so full of life and light. Having been lost within the shadows for countless centuries, her deep sapphire hues stung painfully, constricting her sight as things became blurred and distorted. Lifting her hand to shield her eyes as they were once more alight and opened to seeing there was more to life than the eerie darkness she had been subjected to for so very long. Attempting to guide her way through the effects, she stumbled and tripped grasping a hold of anything she could reach for to gain her footing. After some time, her eyes finally adjusted and fixated to the world she had stumbled upon, having never seen anything like it in all her dreams. Once more a strange, gut wrenching feeling stirred over her form as she pondered what this place could possibly be. Was it heaven? Was it hell? Was it some sick version of purgatory she couldn't seem to escape? Dainty hands and slender fingers brushed through her hair as she curled her fingers inward and grasped a hold with a low deepened growl of frustration. Deciding not to give up, she pushed onward through the blinding yet illuminating world surrounding her until she stumbled upon a gentleman standing alone there in the center of this world. It wasn't until after meeting him that she would soon find her true nature and calling, bringing her forth from the dark prison of her mind, and granting her new life.

Desired Touch

15:21 Aug 16 2018
Times Read: 344

As the silhouette of a small woman danced along the surface of a far wall, a beautiful rounded moon delicately hung overhead. The glistening rays adorned her soft skin as it seemed to engulf her with such untamed beauty. Her curves swayed with every gentle step, as fingers brushed along the surface of a large oak trunk which was tucked neatly against said wall. As the night seemed to call out to her, her heart called out to another. One she longed to feel such tantalizing embraces which led to heavenly kisses that caressed the surface of her sultry rose tinged lips. Peering into the very depths of her soul as if freeing her to soar higher than the skies above.

Closing her eyes, she could image the feeling of fingers curling against the side of her neck, a thumb shifting to lift her chin slightly so one could gaze upon the angel before them, whilst tracing the edges of her lips delicately before leaning downward to claim her lips for themselves once more...for that was where they belonged. She could feel herself falling deeper and further down a never ending hole. She wanted to pull herself from such visions as she knew they'd only take her further into the sea of pleasure, yet she was trapped in her desires, lost within the chaotic fantasies of her mind.

Cursed Heart Pt. 2

15:07 Aug 16 2018
Times Read: 348

Silence seemed to grow almost as though time stood still upon the estate. Not a single droplet of water from the fountain...a single rustle from the leaves. The sound of nature even seemed to stand still in silence. As the shadows claimed the last caress of her lips, it was as though all life...existence disappeared around her. Moments later the eerie echo of a blood curdling scream rang out severing the death like quietness across the land. Hands would grasp at her chest almost as if she wanted to dig her heart out with her own bare hands. The want..the need..the longing was too much. She could feel the darkness within taking it's toll as it would twist and wind throughout her very form, corrupting each and every last part of her that had any goodness or worth. She knew with the last shriveling piece of hope fading fast, the darkness would consume her, leaving destruction and chaos in her wake. In a fit of panic, she clawed at her chest even though she knew it would do nothing to keep the darkness within from consuming her. Tears pooled within her gray hues before crashing over her bottom lids and down her porcelain cheeks. Dropping to her knees upon the hardwood floor as her head hung forward, she sobbed softly.. the last glimmer of light was swallowed up, leaving a dark pulsing essence where her heart once sat nestle within her chest. No sound of joy, nor the peaceful thumping of a heart beat would resonate again. Little did she know disguised among the shadows was the devil himself, for he undoubtedly had his eye on her for some time. Her pain and despair was just the fuel required to gain him access into her domain as his trickery of the mind was all to easy to use on her. Her doubt, loneliness, her fear gave him the power he needed to claim the last shimmer of her hope...the last shimmer of the love she craved to give someone. Having obtained such, he had all the anchorage he needed to hold her under his control. There was nothing, no one who could break his hold, without an act of genuine love. Only then could the curse be broken.

Cursed Heart Pt. 1

15:06 Aug 16 2018
Times Read: 349

As darkness settled upon the estate, heavy winds whipped through every open window. Table clothes waved along the surface of an eerie breeze as it slowly made it's way to caress every inch of open space. Up the deep winding steps and down a long corridor, it made it's way before slipping through in an uninvited manner into an unknown domain. Plush onyx blankets lay nestled upon a queen sized mattress, as soft sunset tendrils cascade upon it's surface. Ivory flesh accompanied by long raven lashes and ruby stained lips, soon were kissed by the silent yet intruding caress of their uninvited guest. A chaotic mind clouded by curiosity and doubt, unsure of the journey she traveled. So many times she questioned whether it was all worth it in the end. The tears, the heartache, the frustration of it all...was it worth it? Was it worth the tug of her heart to hear the once echoing pitter-patter grow into a fading tick-tock? Time was passing and quickly running out. What she longed for most she sadly knew she'd never obtain, no matter how hard to tried. One's caress.. one's embrace... the spine tingling shiver of one's kiss to capture her heart while taking her breath away. The soft flicker of ember light would soon be claimed by the harboring shadows awaiting their moment to strike, for the prize was all too worth it's savoring delight. As the low glow faded, raven lashes closed to embrace the last shard of her soul as it disappeared, forever to become a vessel of eternal night.

Sea of Thoughts Pt. 1

14:43 Aug 16 2018
Times Read: 353

The delicate sound of bed sheets being shifted beneath could have been heard if one listened close enough for silence seemed to be the only thing that echoed the loudest within her four walls she called home. Limbs stretched outward as muscles contracted and flesh engulfed with goosebumps due to the crisp cool caress of the eerie air surrounding her. A weary mind plagued her every thought as she laid there lazily hesitant in opening her eyes to greet the new day. She was exhausted mentally, physically, emotionally. There was so much scattered chaotically through her mind that she brushed her hands over her face and through her head with a soft growl the emitted through the contours of her chest.

As frustration began to set in she shifted towards the edge of the bed as she crawled out of it slowly. Dainty bare feet shuffled along the cool hardwood floors until she reached the window at the far side of the bedroom. With a blank gaze she peered out through the sheer curtains before closing her eyes lost in the ocean of thoughts stirring within her mind. A longing sensation had burrowed itself within her heart as long raven lashes opened to stare absentmindedly into the endless horizon, wondering what to do next?

The robust aroma of coffee filled her nostrils as she turned away from the window and prepared a cup for herself before lazily returning to where she stood. The soft billowing steam danced from the surface of her coffee filled mug as it sat alone upon a side table. Tilting her head to rest it upon the window frame, she sighed softly to herself while she bent over to caress the heated contents within her hands, idly tracing the tip of her finger around the rim of the mug, and going back to her thoughts.

(To be continued...)
