The patter of the raindrops
Upon my windowpane
Tells me that Winter's over
And Spring has come again.
I hear the robins singing
High in the apple tree;
The little brooklet's gurgling,
So happy to be free.
Sweet svent of early blossoms
Perfume the rainwashed air;
Bright daffodils are nodding
In yards most everywhere.
Buds are bursting on the trees,
The grass is sprouting green,
Children splashing in the rain puddles
Make a merry scene.
The patter of the raindrops,
Oh, who can call it gloom;
In every raindrop falling
I see a flower bloom.

Friendship is a special jewel
That you choose to wear each day;
It gives out a shine and sparkle
In the things you do and say.
Friendship is the little pebble
That you found along the shore,
That was different from the others,
But you treasure evermore.
Just as both the moon and stars
Are the friends of God above,
