First round of the day, Glowing Minotaur~
19862025669100-screenshot-Url
I've done probably less than 10 rounds so far, and already gotten two glowing. I dunno, it's just not as exciting since they upped the drop rates. But I've also got major Nightreign fatigue. Trying to find suitable partners in Nightreign is like dating. Everyone sucks, but me, so I'm better off just doing it by myself xD For real... I have to question how any of these fucks have ever finished a Souls game, if they ever have, because holy fuck every fucking game someone, usually both people, leave. One little bit of bullshit gets thrown at them, and they can't overcome it, they run crying. Like seriously, your skill level isn't determined by the perfect run with the perfect pathing, the perfect team, and the perfect equipment. You're far more skilled when everything goes wrong, and you still win. But like 90% of the playerbase of this fucking game completely taps out when one little thing throws them off. And it's just fucking tedious. It's making me not want to play because everyone on this game sucks so much. Like I was in a decent run with two idiots who left the game right before the night 2 boss just because we didn't beat Astel. Astel is optional, boys, he's just a bonus. The reward you get for beating him is good, but it's not mandatory, you can keep going without it. And so many people have that mindset with Astel, like if you don't beat him, run's ruined. It's really, REALLY not. And if beating Astel is so important to you then maybe, I dunno, get to him with time to beat him. It's gonna take usually at least half a day, but people wanna haul ass there past day two midday. At that point, I know we're not gonna make it so I'd rather take on the smaller bosses around the city than try to force him, and end up with nothing. Yeah, when the rain is coming into Astel's arena, I'm out, I'm leaving you there, I do not care. You wanna fight a big space bug that can kill you in one hit, in the rain ticking away your HP, good luck, I'm out. Not out of the game, just out of the city, but then butthurt people mad you left them wanna throw the whole run you just put almost an hour into. It's exhausting. It's tedious. It's making the whole game no fun because it's just constant. There are justified reasons for leaving a game, awful teammates being my main reason, and some people will say, "If people are leaving you in games so often then maybe you're the problem." Yep, someone who sticks with the team 99% of the time, revives everyone constantly, almost never dies, and often times does the most damage, yeah, I'm definitely the problem, how could anyone possibly stand to play with me🙄
It's a perfect reflection of my life, I take care of everyone, but I'm still constantly abandoned xD

Ran into a new kinda troll in Nightreign. Was running a duo with a Wylder since our Ironeye split before the first night boss. And I fucking carried this guy through an Ulcerated Tree Spirit, Erdtree Avatar, Loretta and Deathrite Bird. I had a god-tier staff with Gelmir's Fury on it. He went down several times, I got him back up, I followed his pings, I did everything he wanted to do. We're right before the night 2 boss, he stops, turns to me, drops ALL of his equipment onto the ground, and points down insinuating that O should also drop my equipment. So I left xD Cause fuck that guy. Maybe he wasn't a troll, maybe he was just looking for a solid partner to do a punch run with. I ain't the one. Not because I can't do it. But I'm not patient enough to wittle down a boss's health with only kicks and punches. No thank you. If that's your intention, make it known at the beginning of the round maybe. Cause otherwise you're wasting almost an hour of both of our time for literally nothing, for me to walk out. Plus, no offense, but you need to be much better for that kinda run. You need to maybe not die so much. You should be pretty solid on the basics before you start challenging yourself to shit like that. Either way, I'm not interested in being drug into that shit. And we were going up against Sentient, that staff would've melted them in like 30 seconds. Fucker.

I see the quality control at Bethesda is immaculate as ever🙄
Polish-20250730-005319458
They've also managed to suck even more fun out of their own game because that seems to be what they're best at. They've taken all the rare standard masks, and made them common so now there are no rare masks that aren't glowing, and the drop rates for the glowings have been upped to 5% chance. So you're far more likely to get a glowing now, taking away pretty much any appeal this event had. Part of the fun of Fallout used to be getting really awesome, rare stuff, and trading/selling it whether it's these stupid masks or godroll equipment. Now, nothing in the entire game is rare, you can easily obtain any equipment yourself, and you can get to level 1000 in like a month so what's the point anymore?

Honestly, looking forward to Fasnacht Day for the first time ever. Obviously, I'm still looking for Red, and there are new glowing masks dropping tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to get a couple, improve my odds of trading. I haven't been on 76 since Nightreign dropped except for like maybe 30 minutes. I could use a break from Nightreign xD There are just way too many awful players. Not awful as in bad, just like... not team players. I dunno, I've gotten to the point where I know what I can handle so of I go off on my own, I stick to what I can handle. I don't go after a big boss, die, and say screw everyone else, I'm leaving. It's better for all three members to stick together, you can clear anything so much faster together. But I also understand the need to find things for yourself so maybe going off on your own for a few minutes. No one is obligated to stay together. I take pinging locations as a suggestion, as a way tp tell each other where you're going. It's not mandatory that everyone stays together, and the people who get mad when you're not immediately where THEY want you to be, it's selfish, entitled behavior. I was with an Ironeye, and an Executor earlier, we had finished crater so we were fucking around in the volcano. I wasn't paying attention, and they took off to fight a bosd across the map. By the time I realize where they're at I decide, hey, I'm level 14, I have a gold level Rivers of Blood, I'm good, I'm not dragging my ass across the map for some menial reward, they can handle it because we were taking down bosses easily the three of us. And the Executor is pinging away their location. Yeah, I see you, I get it, I'm not going over there xD I head off to take down a boss who is closer to me, easily do it on my own. Within a couple minutes I see they did, in fact, conquer the boss they were fighting despite the Executor having gone down at least once. They come running up, and as the Executor comes up to me he pings the ground like 20 times, then leaves the game. And this is right beside the night 2 boss so pretty shitty. Not entirely sure why he left, maybe trying to punish me for not rushing over to help them, maybe he saw the ROB, and was mad because people are crazy entitled about equipment. Yes, Executor's base wearing is a katana, ROB is the best katana in game, technically he will do more damage with it, but... it's mine, find your own xD Because Duchess can also do really good damage with it, pretty much any character can, and since I main it in base Elden Ring it's a sword I'm intimately familiar with, and use well. Also, your reward for completing crater is making any weapon in your inventory gold, I chose to make MY ROB gold, I am not obligated in any way to give it up. If someone wants to give you something that's better for your class, that's awesome, but getting mad, and leaving because you're a big tantrum baby who can't get your way, fucking later, dude. Cause that Ironeye, and I went on to win against enhanced Gaping Jaw. Because I had a motherfucking gold ROB. And that Ironeye was pretty solid. I'm just saying, assuming you'll use something better than someone else just because it's your character's base weapon, not always true. I see it all the time with shitty Recluse, and Revenant players grabbing up every fucking piece of magic equipment, then proceeding to do very little with it while dying constantly. And even if someone has something you'd be better with, who cares. If the Raider wants to hoard the Carian Regal Scepter only to pop off a single moon per fight because of his excruciatingly low FP, that's his business. Fuck off if you think you're entitled to anything. If you're good you shouldn't need the crutch of best equipment every run, you should be able to work with whatever you got regardless. I love getting peak equipment, best feeling, but if I don't, I'll make it work. I'm pretty sure that Executor left because I refused to follow their pings those last few minutes, but it's fucking stupid to put almost an hour into a match, get max level, and tap out last second just because your Duchess is being a brat. Get the fuck over it xD Like I said, we won anyway, it's awesome when an asshole tries to throw you, and you prevail anyway.
I also need a break from all the idiots who wanna fight Loretta, Tree Sentinel or Draconic Tree Sentinel at level 7. Pretty much anyone on horseback, stop making me fight them, I can't watch you idiots die, revive you, and watch you instantly die again anymore xD People never fucking learn.

My second win against Night Aspect, the final boss. My team in the distance, running away aa he jumps into the air, seconds from unleashing his most powerful attack. Smart. And what does Bunny do? Runs directly underneath him, and blasts him with Ancient Death Rancor. Risky. Stupid. It worked. I lived xD
I have fought Night Aspect many times, and only beaten him twice because he's a real bitch who will completely wipe your team with a single attack. With his health so low, I wasn't risking that. Sure, it definitely would have instantly killed me if he hadn't died... But it all worked out. My hero moment~
Ancient Death Rancor is one of my favorite spells. Ancient Death Rancor, Rykard's Rancor, Rennala's/Ranni's Moons, Black Flame and of course, the Frenzied Flame. These are the most powerful, in my opinion. I'm hoping they'll add more in future DLC. Honestly, what I'd love to see, controversially to my previous opinions, is more Dark Souls in Nightreign. Because the lore feels so separated or so distant between Elden Ring, and Nightreign, it doesn't bother me that Nightreign includes some Dark Souls elements, and I'd like to see more because really it's just a few bosses. I'd like to see more Elden Ring included too. There's so much over the span of all these games that could be included into Nightreign, I'm hoping it goes that way. We definitely need more outfits for the characters first and foremost xD What would I want to see Duchess wearing...

It happened again...

Going up against Libra, and we are blessed with A Frenzied Flame Appears event.
And my idiot teammates wanna focus on evergaols, and the castle...
One of which was a Recluse so they should definitely know the BFG that's waiting in that tower for so little effort. I think most people just haven't ever encountered this event so they must not know because if you know then you're like me, and you immediately start running there. I'm tired of playing with shitty Recluse mains who die constantly which seems to be pretty much every Recluse main. Or watching shitty Recluse/Revenant mains greedy grab every staff, and seal, and use them super ineffectively. I was on a team with a Revenant, again going against Libra because he's a very popular fight, and she had not only the Frenzied Flame Seal, but also a staff with Ranni's Dark Moon. And we lost. Because not only could she not keep herself alive, she wasn't blasting him away with EITHER big spell I knew she had. If you're not going to use it, stop fucking grabbing it. I don't like to be aggressive when it comes to drops, I'm fine letting everyone grab what they want first, but it's agonizing knowing a goddamn Recluse or Revenant took something they did nothing with that I could've used to actually get us a win. It's making it to where I immediately want to quit out of games with them because it happens constantly, they take everything useful which they never even use effectively, and then you have to spend the entire round babysitting them to keep them alive. I don't mind reviving people, but when I have to revive you several times a boss fight it's too fucking much, and it's especially annoying when my other teammate refuses to leave them dead. If the boss is down to 1/3 health, and one person is dead, sorry, leave them dead, and help me beat this thing especially if they're three-bars dead. They had their chance. If I'm playing really sloppy or if a boss gets really lucky I might die once or twice. No body ever has to full three-bar rez me. I would be fucking embarrassed.
Summer Fasnacht Day is coming up on Tuesday so I'm thinking I'll head back into Fallout. I haven't really been on Fallout since Nightreign came out, and the break has been nice. It's just a completely different vibe. In Nightreign you have to work together to win. In Fallout it's more like despite being on the same team with the same goals, you're constantly in competition with everyone else. Nightreign is extremely well balanced when it comes to characters when using your character correctly. Fallout is basically if you're not in power armor with a galling plasma good luck getting any kills. And they just keep changing everything which continues to make the balancing worse and worse. It's really made 76 unenjoyable to play compared to a game that actually functions correctly. Nightreign is also getting new content next week, some changes to relics, the next everdark drop, and they're making it so you can play as a duo. I don't understand why people are so obsessed with wanting duos. If I've got two teammates, one goes down, I have another as a safety net. Well, usually in my case BOTH teammates go down, and it's up to me to save everyone's ass, but still, I'd still prefer playing with two people. I was so annoyed in a round yesterday... Day one, rain is enclosing, I run for safety, and my two teammates are together, caught in the rain, one dies, the other revives, the other dies, the one revives, just dying and reviving each other desperately, slowly trying to get to the circle. At that point, just die. Because what's going to happen is if you even make it to the circle you're gonna be half-dead with zero healing, and need three-bar revived when the boss inevitably kills you both. Just die, spawn in the circle full health/healing, and we'll go get your Runes after the boss. Don't be fucking stupid. It's ok to die, you'll be fine, we'll all be better off. And if you're outside of the circle after the night boss spawns in, when you die you don't respawn, you're stuck dead out there, and then I'm suddenly fighting a boss alone. Don't. Be. Fucking. Stupid.

Fellas, please...
175332566476942442
We're going up against Sentient. I'm level 15. I have the Frenzied Flame Seal which, in my opinion, is the best fire weapon in the game.
I also have the literal best staff in the game, AND the Black Knife...
175332566476942442-1
It's everything I ever want xD
And I'm not even going to use them. Because I have the motherfucking Frenzied Flame. Honestly, I don't even need you two there. But if you think I'm going to follow you after night 2 deep into the rain for a single flask... I've got 6 flasks. Those bugs ain't gonna be alive long enough for us to need them. I HAVE the FRENZIED FLAME.
I love the Frenzied Flame xD
It's a rare drop so you don't see it too often, and it's really good against just about everything, but it absolutely melts anything weak to fire or madness so Sentient, Dragon and Libra are toast if it shows up during their rounds.
I had a situation a few days ago going against Libra, and there's a certain world event where a Frenzied Flame tower can spawn in world, and if you complete the event which is essentially killing a few one-hit enemies, you're guaranteed a Frenzied Flame Seal drop. You get to pick between it, and a couple other madness inducing weapons, and madness inducing weapons are all pretty rare. So... this event popped while my teammates, and I were fucking around in the castle, pretty close by. Knowing how easy the event is, and the huge reward for doing it, and the fact that we were going up against Libra who is a pretty tough boss, but Frenzied Flame can make him your bitch... i immediately started running to get there. With my idiot teammates pinging me in the background that they were still doing castle. That's fine, be stupid, ignore the easiest win of your life. Cause you don't have to be a caster to use spells, any character class can use them, the mage types are obviously just more efficient, but anyone to use any weapon type, they're not locked to class. I was pretty uncomfortable using magic when I first got into it because of Duchess, but it's 100% just a matter of timing. That's the difficult part of playing mage, and why so many who do play them die so easily, you can't stand back, and mindlessly blast away, you have to constantly be moving, and ready to dodge at any second just like everyone else because the boss will target you spontaneously just like everyone else. Unless you have Less Likely to be Targeted... It just feels dirty using it though, like I'm throwing my team to the wolves to keep them off my own ass xD

Why is it always my teammates are dead xD
It's amazing to me how solid people can play during the main round, and then completely fall apart on the final boss. It happens so often, you think you're in a good team, easy win, and then suddenly they're just dying constantly to the point where I can't revive them especially with a fucking dragon bearing down on me.
Regardless.
ezgif-2dbd3de590b5ee
You know I got the fucking win. Wielding my trusty Black Flame, and a sword I'd never uses before, the Sword of Night and Flame. Handy to have against an ice dragon. Ya know, I would've given the Black Flame seal to our Revenant... but they pissed me off early in the round when I opened up a rack of three staffs, and theu ran over, and started grabbing them up while I was obviously looking them over. I get it, Recluse and Revenant scale higher for sorceries, and incantations. But often times I've watched them use these things very poorly, and die often. The good thing about Duchess is she does decent spell damage, but also has more HP than the pure magic builds so I can get much closer without dying, and blast away in ways that the weaker characters can not. So I feel... it's ok for me to have a good staff or seal over them because I'll use it better. And the fact that if someone is standing on top of something obviously looking it over, it's fucking rude to rush over, and grab it. That kinda behavior usually makes me leave, but I let it slide because I figured I'd get something better later on, and I did, and J could've given it to them, but fuck you, rude asshole, glad I could win despite you, yes, I'm being toxic xD

No healing left. And that motherfucking moth has the AUDACITY to grab me, getting the last split-second kill in on me.
ezgif-6b30b5dbccfc39
But my residual fire damage also kills them~
ezgif-696c1849c70270
The greatest win of all time xD
I gain a new appreciation for a different spell every day. Because I never delved into magic in base Elden Ring there are so many spells that I just didn't know what they do, and then I try them, and they're awesome. Using magic in Nightreign is fun. But I also like the flexibility of Duchess as a mage/melee build better than a pure magic character. I've played with enough Recluse mains to know that being Recluse usually means dying a lot. Duchess has more HP, she can tank hits better so I can get closer, and really blast things away while also stabbing them. I dunno, given that, I don't see why anyone would choose to play Recluse over Duchess.

I was in a round earlier today with a Raider and a Revenant... The Raider drops a piece of equipment on the ground, and pings it, signaling to his teammates that it's more useful to one of us. I look at it, and it has a passive effect boost to incantations. I do often times utilize incantations, but Revenant has S Faith scaling therefore making them slightly better with incantations so I know Raider bro is trying to give it to them. But they refuse to even stop, and look at this. So Raider... will not take no for an answer. He proceeds to pick up the same piece of equipment, run over to the Revenant, drop it by them, and ping it. All while the Revenant completely, obviously is trying to ignore them. Which is pretty rude honestly... Like at least stop, and look at it, he's trying to be helpful. I would've taken it myself, even beyond it being useful for me I wanted the fuckery to stop, but this went on til the end of night one where Raider then, still being refused, planted himself on the edge of the boss area, dropped two things now which both improved incantations, and refused to help fight any further. Eventually I realize I'm fighting the boss alone xD It was only Centipede Demon so not super difficult. I can see my teammates standing off tp the side, the fucking Revenant finally looking at desperate Raider bros equipment, and finally they both came into the fight. Hilariously, we ended up with a network error that kicked us all out of the game at the final boss so it was all for nothing anyway. I even had Rivers of Blood just to add insult to injury.

Worse than the teammate who fucks around in the rain when you're already level 15... The team member who fucks around in the rain, then barges right past you, and your othet teammate, and force starts the boss fight. The final boss fight starts when all three members get close enough to the end door. But for whatever reason, FromSoftware added the ability to force start the match so even if your teammates aren't there or aren't ready you can force everyone into the final confrontational by touching the door yourself. This is generally frowned upon because it's fucking rude, but it also resets your ultimate meter back to zero so if you had a full ultimate ready to go, that's now gone, and that also pisses people off. Enough that it warrants leaving the match even at the very end. It happened today with an Executor, and a Raider. The Executor, and I politely, and patiently waited a few minutes while this douchebag Raider ran out into the rain tp kill a single field boss. If I'm level 15 already, good luck to you, I'm not helping you. You can risk losing your Runes, and a full level for +5% HP or whateverthefuck trivial reward you're gonna get. It's not going to make or break you. What will ruin your run is when you're said douchebag Raider finally shows up at the final area, runs past the two of you, and immediately touches the door completely stripping you of your built-up ultimate. As soon as my screen loaded I saw the Executor disappear from the game. The Raider look at me, looked towards the boss, looked at me... Watched as I also left xD Asshole. I'm not helping an asshole get a win. I would rather play with someone who's genuinely bad at the game with a good attitude than someone who's really good, but a major dick. If you don't need your team, if you don't want to cooperate, play together, help each other... why are you on multi-player? Does your life suck that much that you're that desperate for any pathetic form of validation? You should probably get that checked out.

Buddy... please... We're already level 15, we beat the day 2 night boss, we can go against Sentient Pest easily now, our companion already abandoned us, WHY ARE YOU FUCKING AROUND IN THE RAIN?
We did go on to win. Mostly because I had a staff with Gelmir's Fury which is essentially a small volcanic eruption. Taking that in against a boss who's weak to fire, even a two phase, three bug, down an entire person boss, yeah, easy win as long as you mind your timing. Gelmir's Fury is a charged sorcery so you stand, hold, and it casts over the course of a few-several seconds. If you can get a good window to hold for as long as possible to cast for as long as possible, maximum devastation. It helped that dude was a Raider, and a damn fine one at that. Not sure why he went out into the rain towards the end just to fight one last field boss, but he didn't get mad when I didn't follow him, he actually friended me after so I must've done something right. We did have an Ironeye with til the end of day 1. We were doing castle top boss, the rain is closing in so I bail, and head for safety. Ironeye dies. And it's difficult... because sometimes dying is strategic. If you've been fighting a boss, and have used up all your flasks/HP/FP then it can be better tactically to die, and respawn at safety fully equipped to fight the night boss. You'll lose a level, sure, but you can get it back by collecting your Runes back from where you died. And Ironeye could've easily done this, I even would've helped him get his shit back. But no. After he died, and respawned in the safe zone, he immediately ran into the rain back towards the castle, and died again, and then fucking left. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Everdark Sentient Pest has become one of my favorite fights. Usually because I manage to find some decent fire power to take in against it. I then went on to have an excruciating round against Sentient with another Duchess, and a Wylder. And surprisingly, the Duchess wasn't the problem... Fucking Wylder dying constantly. I don't mind reviving, I actually enjoy helping my team. But if you're going down constantly, and I'm taking damage/dying to help you... Go practice alone. Learn to dodge. Or block. Wylder comes loaded with a shield, but most every one I play with immediately drops it. There was another Wylder in another round who also majorly pissed me off. It was me, him, and a Recluse, and we were up against Augur, and we won pretty easily. But immediately after we won, this douchebag Wylder pulls out a staff which he then proceeds to cast Rennala's Moon with... This fucker had a staff with one of the best spells in the game, and withheld it from two characters who specialize in sorcery, specifically the MAGE character... And made it known he'd been withholding it after we won. Sure, we still won, but what a fucking asshole. I think I've blocked about 300 people since I started playing Nightreign xD Compared to maybe 1 in Fallout. Fucking toxic.

I must've really impressed Paul... cause he's been asking me every day to play again with him. So finally I hopped on a couple rounds with him, an advanced Sentient Pest and Darkdrift Knight since we'd already done enhanced Gaping Jaw. Ya know, he didn't really seem like much our first game, he was Wylder, and I carried. For Sentient he chose Revenant, not terribly great at her either, but a lot of people have trouble with her. The main issue playing Rev is that people rely too heavily on her summons, and don't lean into her S-scale Faith build, aka use fucking incantations. Duchess scales B in Faith so she's decent with incantations, but Revenant is better. The summons are a cute little temporary distractions, but they don't have much HP so against tougher enemies they don't last long, you can't rely on them entirely, you need to incorporate a good seal, and preferably a fast melee weapon. He did alright on Rev, died a lot, but she has pretty abysmal HP. Then he played Raider for Darkdrift, and that was definitely his best round. I'm not one of those people who plays a different character for every boss, I only really enjoy playing Duchess. I get the impression, based on him telling me that he knows all the bosses like the back of his hand, that he's one of those people who plays all day. And like I've said before, I don't want to play with the same people every day because knowing you can beat the game with people, it gets boring. Plus, Paul is lnd of those people who pings an Evergaol without a key xD He took lead on Sentient Pest, led us to a Cathedral, and Cathedrals always have keys, pinged an Evergaol so I assumed he had said key, we get there, no one has the key... Don't make me leave, and block you, Paul xD

You can tell the games I've left early because they end on day 1 or 2... There appears to be a common denominator here, most of the games I've left having another Duchess. I don't wanna say I'm the only solid Duchess main, but xD It's fun to play with another Duchess who uses her properly, who gets it. Unfortunately, most people don't. Most people just aren't very good at this game at all. And it's ok to not be very good, I won't abandon you for that. But when you're bad, and make stupid, selfish decisions. When you pick a fight with Bell-bearing Hunter at level 2...I don't feel bad leaving a game at level 2 if you prove you're going to waste my time. Yeah, sire, it's ok to focus more on having fun than being efficient, but throwing yourself into a big tanky wall that can kill you in one hit...

There's a reason you don't fuck with him. I needed those wins, all enhanced bosses, that's what I can do with a proper team. Apparently, Wylder and Ironeye are my ride or dies xD I'm pretty sure these two were a pair based on the names.
198198cfbe461-screenshot-Url
And theu were badass. Interestingly, they split up into completely different directions from the beginning, but the Wylder was the one pinging locations so I ended up following him while Ironeye took off on his own, killing bosses by himself. Splitting up is a good strategy for maximum rune farming if everyone cam survive. The Wylder, and I found the demon merchant while we were off by ourselves. The demon merchant is Libra, and you can find him during the day sometimes, he'll randomly show up, and curse your team, permanently decreasing your health unless you pay him off with either 15,000 Runes day 1, 35,000 day 2. You can also just fight him, and his day fight is much easier than his full night boss fight, but he still hits like a fucking truck. The ground explosion gets me every time, every time I think I'm safe he makes my feet explode. But it's common courtesy not to drag your teammates into an unnecessary fight with Libra. Of course, this Wylder... He looks at Libra, looks at me, looks at Libra, looks at me, and I'm thinking, don't do it, don't do it, don't you dare, nope, he punched him xD But we got him down, just two pf us. But we were also like level 13 by then. I don't mind my teammates doing dumb shit if they fully believe we can handle it. Sometimes you just gotta try. But properly leveled... Too many people wanna provoke shit at level 2. Fucking stop it xD

Are you fucking stupid?
Sure, let's immediately book it towards cyclone zone at level 2, I logged in just to die. Seriously, one hit from anything will kill you there... Nope. Big fucking nope, I am out. The rewards there aren't even anything spectacular, I don't understand why people throw themselves into these things just to die. Are you stupid or are you just bad at video games? Obviously both. It's so annoying. Trying to take on an extremely challenging area/boss early on doesn't make you badass, especially when I'm the one who has to scrape you up off the ground after you immediately die. Idiots.

This dragon is probably my favorite boss fight. He's just majestic~
Less Likely To Be Targeted has become my favorite passive. Not because I'm a coward who doesn't want enemy aggro. Honestly, any one team member who can do decent damage should have it, at least one of us so at least one person is doing decent consistent damage. It doesn't have to be me, but I do trust myself to do it, and J can't exactly communicate all that to my team. I'd really like a thumbs fown gesture to express to people my refusal to do certain things. I'm tired of watching everyone die to Draconic Tree Sentinel, I don't wanna fight it anymore. I don't wanna go into the cyclone zone. I don't wanna do castle top boss. And when the world event us Rot forest, and it's the second half of day 2, and my two idiot teammates are fucking around in the castle instead of getting the Scarlet Rot cure location... Imma just go fucking do it by myself. The second day night boss is always in the middle of the forest where you will constantly being taking Scarlet Rot damage if you didn't find the cure. I fucking refuse to not have it. You all wanna be dumbfucks, go for it, I'm getting that cure, be mad I was across the map instead of helping you. Or ya know, wild idea, if you choose to stay there while I'm running off into the distance, keep your own damn self alive. The amount of people who need babysitting in this game is insane, who can't survive ten seconds on their own, and quit out if you're not right beside them to revive them when they go down. If I'm off by myself, and I die, that's on me, I reload, get my Runes, go on with the round. I don't abandon the game, and punish everyone else because of my dumbass choices. I also wish they'd make remembrances single player only, I'm tired of wasting half a day over one member's bullshit, we don't have time for your selfish needs, take it to single player xD Especially when you ping the area you need to go to, and I get there, and you're fucking around somewhere else. That happened today with another Duchess, I foolishly followed to help them while our teammate went the opposite direction. We tackled a blood encampment first, and then they pinged their remembrance so I headed over immediately only to stand there for about two minutes while this other Duchess fucked around at the encampment. So I fucking left. It's like when someone pings an Evergoal, we all show up, and no one has a key xD If you don't personally have a key, DON'T PING IT. For fuck's sake.
There are things you know as an experienced player. If Plague of Locusts hits, which is one of the worst events, and I take off running in a random direction, either follow me to finding Sentient Pest or fuck off, do not relentlessly ping me to be somewhere. Otherwise, we're gonna lose levels, and then like a huge crybaby, you're gonna leave. Let me do my thing. I understand that there's a lot of reliance on your team, and the communication is almost nonexistent. If it looks like I've lost my mind, go with it, it's intentional xD

That's right, Paul, I AM pretty good~
I mean, I'm not the best, but hey... I ain't bad. I had helped him on a team against enhanced Gaping Jaw. They brought enhanced Gaping and Darkdrift back this week for people who missed it. Which is nice because I enjoy fighting either. Turns out Shattering Crystal is great against Gaping Jaw. The problem is the wind-up to casting it so... it helps if you have an item that makes you less likely to be targeted vs your teammates. Some people think it's the cowards way to take less aggro than anyone else. I say, if I can do big constant damage without having to worry about being attacked, that's beneficial to the team. Casting takes an unfortunately long time, and while you can also get items to shorten that time very slightly, most bosses can change targets in a split-second so you think you're safe while it's attacking someone else, you start your spell, and suddenly you're slammed out of nowhere. Even if you see it coming you can't cancel out of your casting animation, which I personally think you should be able to dodge out of casting if you need to, bit I get that's part of playing sorceress, waiting for the perfect moment to strike, and getting punished for being too aggressive.
Twice today I've watched Guardians run past people who needed revived. The first, the asshole with the Dragon. The second, we were all together at an encampment, the rain is closing in, our Ironeye goes down behind me as I'm outrunning the rain so I turn around back into it to revive him, and watch as our Guardian runs right past the both of us. Just blows me away. This is why almost every Guardian I've played with has sucked so bad because it's a character made to take aggro to protect and revive your teammates. Don't play Guardian if you wanna be a selfish asshole who only cares about keeping yourself alive. Sometimes there's nothing you can do. Like this right here.

This is a situation that happens constantly, and frustrates me to no end. My dumbass teammates collectively deciding to go into the cyclone zone at level 5. I don't feel comfortable going there at level 10, forget level 5. Stop making me go there, idiots. Because what ALWAYS happens is they die. Almost immediately as soon as they set foot in that area, boom, dead. They respawn, and in an attempt to get their Runes back, immediately dead again. And then they leave. And it's like... you knew it would happen. Unless you have a really solid team, don't go there. But they do it anyway. And they get mad, and leave if you're not right there dying with them. I was in this situation earlier today where they went in, and I followed, and they both died, and when I ran up to them they were surrounded by like five tough enemies so I didn't even try to revive them because I knew I'd just end up dead too, and sure enough they both left. Which is fine, take your shitty attitude to another team, but it's ridiculous the amount of people who just run away from a game over one stupid decision that could've been recovered from. I feel like I encounter many more insufferable people than actually decent players, and I guess that's the price of playing with randoms,, almost all of them suck, and it's not because they're bad at the game, they just have really bad attitudes, and an overall lack of intelligence. But when you do finally get a win, and help someone who isn't a complete idiot asshole... it's nice~

Maybe I'm too sensitive... but when you aggro a fucking dragon which then kills ME instead of YOU, and you then proceed to run past me instead of easily reviving me...
And you're a fucking GUARDIAN.
Nah. Hang up your wings, you fucking suck, and I'm leaving xD
Dude straight up followed me with a dragon on his ass, dragon breathes fire which kills me, dragon immediately fucks off, and dude runs right past me, no attempt to revive. Yeah, no, that's a shitty teammate who can go fuck themselves. I totally understand leaving someone to die if reviving them puts your own life in jeopardy. Personally, I still try for the revive even at the risk to myself, but some people are fucking cowards so I get it. But the dragon was no longer a threat, he could have easily saved me. And playing Guardian is all about protecting your team. So if, on day one, you allow me to die so easily, I'm not going to waste my time with you. I've become pretty comfortable leaving games when my teammates aren't worth playing with. It's unfortunately common. I will do almost anything for my team, if you're on my team I'll do everything I can to keep you going. But that's the other problem, people making stupid fucking decisions. Like the Executor who left end of night 2 because they chose to tackle the castle top boss as the rain is bearing down on us. And it was fucking Royal Carian Knight. As soon as I saw her I jumped, and my other teammate followed me towards the safe zone. Meanwhile, Executor douchebag is attempting to fight this bitch IN THE RAIN, and rage quits when they inevitably die. People fight the castle top boss like they have something to prove. It's not worth it. Greed punishes you every fucking time. And we were already level 14. Max level is 15 so we would've already been good after the day 2 night boss. But no, the Executor has to be a fucking idiot, and then punish everyone else for their bad decisions, and complete lack of intelligence. And this is what I deal with constantly xD

There is one bad thing about Nightreign. It makes me realize how unfulfiling 76 is. Because I can get on 76, and I'm basically an unkillable 1000 level goddess, I can do anything with minimal effort. But that's how the entire game is from pretty much level 200. In Nightreign you actually have to try because it's difficult, and challenging, and if you hesitate at all it will kick your ass. And I love that. I got on 76 for thr first time in a month, and was just bored to tears. Which never happened before Nightreign. Fallout 76 just doesn't feel like Fallout anymore. All these huge changes, and if they made the game more difficult then I'd be on board, but every update its like they make it easier and easier, and they make it easier to become super OP so everyone is super OP. As frustrating as it can be to play with people beneath your skill level in NR, it keeps things interesting. I don't want to play with people constantly who I know for sure I can win with because I know we're all good, and work well together. It's much more satisfying having a team that's maybe not the best, but winning anyway, actually having to try, and beating the odds. There's no possibility of losing in 76, and I never realized it before, but... that's kinda boring. There's no reliance on teammates, in fact, teammates are more of a hindrance in 76 than anything, you're better off solo there. Nightreign is it's own special little thing. And 76 used to be the same, used to be this awesome place before they started updating it to be as simple, easy, and generic as possible. I don't understand Bethesda, I really don't.

Every time I get an Executor on my team...
I sigh.
And I die a little bit on the inside xD
It's cool when people think they're the best in the group. I hope they remember that every time I pick their ass up off the ground~

Bethesda...
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK ARE YOU DOING?
Your game finally hits it's stride, finally becomes reasonably popular, and beloved by many so you decide... hey, people love it so let's change EVERYTHING about it.
Mind blowing.
Meanwhile, in Nightreign.

We're getting enhanced Sentient Pest dropping at 6 pm. A lot of people dislike this boss because it's a twofer. Fucking pussies. I don't mind it, and ya know, when it decides to specifically target you, and it charges at you, and you hit every single dodge perfectly... it's beautiful. I always hope it chooses me, I like to show off my dodging xD Just get fire. If everyone has some type of fire weapon, easy win. Get two on the scorpion, one on the moth til they converge. Then leg lifts mean spike stomping, shaking means screeching, and if it charges at you just dodge for your life. Easy~

A wholesome Nightreign moment~
ezgif-795780a59fe63e
I was grouped with a Raider and Ironeye. We'd stopped at a merchant, and I always like to check merchants because they almost always have a staff or seal available. So if you haven't been able to find one or want to get your hands on one without looking, they're good places to check. I saw they had an incantation seal with Lightning Spear, and Frozen Lightning Spear, and since we were going up against Darkdrift Knight who's weak to lightning, I was going to buy it, I was just trying to figure out what in my inventory to replace. That's when I noticed Raider to my right had dropped a seal, and was motioning towards it. He had already bought it for me. Now that's an awesome teammate. Not everyone will abandon you or ignore you or grab everything and run. Some people enjoy jolly cooperation❤️
