The dark cloudy sky
Weeps its cold tears
The wind does blow
Chasing away its fear
A solemn figure lays
On their bed at night
Tears in their eyes
For their life ain't right
They think about the future
Or maybe what has past
Not knowing whats in store
Or feelings that they grasp
The boundless love
That is only a dream
Sought after in life
Never reaching it seems
The moon chases the sun
To never catch its beam
Always falling way behind
Never touching its dream
The wolf calls out at night
Searching for its mate
The wind carries its tune
Hoping some ears will take
Why does the busy bee
Get drawn to the flower
Is it the sweet nectar
Or the beauty its power
Is it comfort or love
That us humans search
Holding fantasies within
Too shy to let them lurch

Without no words on the page
For the future is not told

A mirror is full of lies
For it distorts our vision

That take away words
Your wanting to hear in

The touch of their warmth
To keep you safe in the cold
The kisses that are missed
But on the wind they are told
The scent of their body
Carried away in the wind

With passion it sends
Is my love only a dream

A fantasy of illusion you have
